I,swear,Rosy,you really outdid yourself once again. I just had the honor to read this masterpiece study in spite. And to think that I thought you outdid yourself with your wonderful fic seeker smitten? I AM smitten with your fics and writings. You are so incredibly good,I can't even describe it. I also wrote down a few things I LOVED while reading it (ugh,I already wanna reread it. First of all,I found it really surprising how many fears y/n had.. But I know because it's you always want a new y/n with different traits,and I really like how you do that. Because some writers make some y/ns always the same and like the readers can't really imagine it if it's a completely different person but you try to do various y/ns with different personalities and I really luke tgat and respect it. Second of all,I really couldn't stop laughing at the scene where Taesan sold poison etc to others with Keonho and Seonghyeon,it was funny and especially funny to imagine,like one of the villians in disney movies! When he started frowning when y/n started ignoring him I was like:"Oh?" As well when he started getting desperate for her attention,LIKE WHATT.
Girl I also always LOVE how you connect your fics with each other like the Riu's and Sungho's signed,sealed,spellbound books. It made me really happy! What I also found incredibly cute was how Danielle and Leehan melted when the dog came into the club room, like AGHH,IT'S SO UNDERSTANDABLE. And then y/n cussing Taesan out? FINALLYYY,HE WAS HONESTLY AN ASSHOLE AND I WAS HAPPY THAT SHE FINALLY STOOD UP FOR HERSELF,LIKE GO BADDIE. How Eunchae had water eyes like a proud mom afterwards was such an cute detail! Then when Professor Park came and you described that he was two seconds away from strangling himself I immediately thought of this sticker:

You already mentioned it before but I really like how you write out sounds like tap tap tap,it makes it more understandable and exciting somehow. Also,I really wanted to melt when Taesan fondly shook his head because y/n knocked him out of feet in their lesson with Professor Moon,IT WAS SO CUTE. Starting from the third part,I couldn't stop listening to 'Stephanie' from Nafeesisboujee and 'Be my baby' by The Ronettes bcs both songs fitted it sooo much. I totally understood it when y/n was so suspiscous of Taesan suddenly being so friendly and followed the rules,I'd be too. And when y/n found out that Taesan was Mr. Meow,he fucked up.. But I liked it sooo much how you showed both y/n's and Taesan's feelings,perspective and thoughts of the situation. When the family moments started I was sooooo happy,it was just soooo cute and well described. And when Taesan started helping y/n get over her fears? It was officially over for me. That is just such a good idea,as well how you showed the story from y/ns diary entries. This whole fic was just an incredibly good enemies to friends to lovers.. Don't get me started when Taesan started getting vulnerable..
Also,I found something.. Is the mention of the newspaper club and the head reporter an easter egg for leehan's signed,sealed,spellbound book? And generally,I find it very cute of Keonho and Seonghyeon are Taesan's minions who help and follow him around 🥹
Okay,then when Taesan ALMOST confessed just to say:"Nothing,forget it." I WANTED TO SCREAM AND PULL MY HAIR OUT. But then y/n followed him was so brave to scream a confession at him? Wanting to scream and pull my hair out pt2. This scene was so emotional and heartwarming and I was so incredibly impressed like.
Rosy I have such an respect for your writing talent and how you improve even more each time. This fic was soooo incredibly well-written,I am so enchanted. hehe you're right! i love making my yns very distinct from each other and solid characters outside of the boys. ig when I write I imagine it more as people playing a part or role in a movie or a show, if that makes sense. so taesan didn't have to be accurate to a t or anything, but some of his personality traits like his tendency to tease and get flustered easily I focused on to make it fun to read haha! I'm glad you like the way I write my yns btw, all of them are super special to me, my children 🥹
YESYES spellbound is such an ambitious series bcs I wanted them to be interconnected like an actual set of books! a study in spite was especially hard to figure out bcs it runs parallel with seeker, smitten and so the events had to be aligned perfectly (I have a very perfectionist mindset when it comes to details like this 😭 I have the timeline for the academic year, quidditch season, tournament brackets, all the significant events that happen in seeker, smitten etc. etc. written down on my notebook for reference). (AND THE MEME, that is exactly what he wanted to do yes 🥲)
YES IT WAS A TSUMU REFERENCE!!! I think this is a good time to say that yn in seeker, smitten was loosely inspired by oikawa with her frustrations regarding the topic of talent and hardwork, and ig that would make Jaehyun the kageyama figure (loosely ofc). I love sportsfics and haikyuu so much, I'm always subconsciously influenced by the manga whether I mean to or not lol. so yes! Atsumu reference is right!! on a similar note, taesan can lean towards sunarin's personality with the affinity for blackmail OR towards osamu bcs I don't think quidditch is the end all be all for taesan the way it is for ss yn or jaehyun (or yeonjun, ofc)
Omygod you are these songs go perfectly for a study in spite!
