I find it very funny how I was like the #1 lineart hater not even that long ago

I absolutely DESPISED doing lineart

that was mostly because I was getting stressed over getting the lines perfect, and by perfect I mean pixel perfect

and uhhh using the default brush with those slightly blurry edges did not help

but oh the moment I started experimenting with brushes and started using the "digital pen" everything literally changed

yes I can probably count every pixel in my art now

but oh look at these delicious crisp pixels

the lines are so nice, and erasing things doesn't leave obvious marks and I can get my lines pixel perfect, and the bucket tool actually works without leaving those white edges

now I actually like my lineart and enjoy doing it :D

tldr: if you hate doing lineart, maybe you just need to find the right brush

I'm so proud of this, I wasn't able to make a finished piece for a while

I'm at the point where each time I draw my characters their colors are a bit different

and that's okay

I generally stopped color picking colors and just go with whatever looks good, at least the majority of the time

I love using funky colors for things

also yes I drew them in the funky colors before making the version in normal colors, I'm just special like that

I love that my method of animating things is draw everything in ibis paint and hope for the best when putting it together

(wheter also in ibis paint or in flipaclip, which both I hate a lot but gotta do what I gotta do)
