RAW LINES. (pt. 1) trigger warning for heavy topics. ( ex: abuse, depression, swearing ) ( feel free to change pronouns / things as needed. )
‘ i don’t care! ’
‘ i am not going to let you stand there and remind me of everything i hate about myself! ’
‘ i never asked to be made! ’
‘ just know that i am with you so you don’t suffer all alone ’
‘ you claim to understand what you cannot know ’
‘ the gall to lecture me as though you can relate to me– ’
‘ and it’s a long way forward, so trust in me. ’
‘ i’m not alone because of you. ’
‘ to hell with him! ’
‘ make me love myself so that i might love you ’
‘ how come [he/she] don’t want me? ’
‘ say you love me too. please, just say it back. ’
‘ what?! what do you wanna know? that i’m a fuckin’ orphan?! ’
‘ you don’t wanna hear that shit, [name]. don’t tell me you wanna hear that shit! ’
‘ i wanna hear it because i wanna help you, i wanna save you! ’
‘ what the fuck, do i got a fuckin sign on my back that says save me?! ’
‘ he’d put a wrench, a stick, and a belt on the table and just say: choose… i used to go with the wrench. cause fuck him. ’
‘ hey [name], i don’t know a lot but you see this? all this shit? it’s not your fault. ’
‘ look at me son, it’s not your fault. ’
‘ don’t fuck with me, [name]. not you too. ’
‘ i had fourteen great birthdays without him, he never even sent me a damn card– TO HELL WITH HIM! ’
‘ i didn’t need him then and i don’t need him now. ’
‘ i tried but, i don’t think so, maybe it was me who was fucking up. ’
‘ i’m sorry i can’t help you, somebody should’ve had your back. ’
‘ cause you brought out the best of me, a part of me I’d never seen. ’
‘ you brought something out in me i didn’t know i had. ’
‘ but you were hurt! badly hurt! ’
‘ no, stop, you’re hurting them! ’
‘ i see so many things that could hurt you. i should never have let one of them be me. ’
‘ i don’t know what it meant to you, but ever since then i can’t get the thought out of my head that you’re a good person. ’

The world was quiet, not a tweet or a rustle of wildlife filtering through the terrain Geralt trudged through, on his gradual way back ‘home.’ Maybe it was the world reflecting his poor mood, or at the very least, reacting to it. Or maybe the occurrence that brought him through had simply chased those a bit smarter than he was scurrying for safety - far from ground zero of the incident.
Or maybe it was straight up his stench.
The battle hadn’t been a pleasant one. Indeed, it had been one of the most unpleasant he had endured for quite a while. And not necessarily because the challenge it posed. More the way it ended: in a combustion of goop, guts and blood and residue that smelled somehow more vile than a trolls rotten backside. Now utterly encasing him in what appeared to be a second skin until he could shuck it away.
Silence by itself was not an altogether bad thing. Sometimes the mind needed a spot of silence in order to expand on thoughts radiating on the inside, lest they burst free through rotted verbalization spoken too soon. They needed time to stew. NOT stagnate. NOT fester.
That was the real danger.
Let it ‘stew’ too long and it might begin to poison the self, directing those thoughts and ideas to realms they didn’t rightly belong.
Geralt wouldn’t say he was stewing in anything [save for the creatures vile bits]. Point was, he wasn’t objecting to the lack of sounds to join in with the cadence of his feet shuffling ever closer to Kaer Morhen.
It was quiet there too, Geralt thought perhaps he could walk unremarked inside. Until he saw a flash of familiar raven hair that he hadn’t rightly expected, and all such thoughts of hurrying to remove the incident from his person were tossed to the wayside.
“Yen?” Of course. It could be none other than her, traces of her scent wafting in the air, somehow able to penetrate the ‘wondrous’ aroma he’d adopted. He was always surprised to see her, though he might not have been able to explain why.
Far be it for her to wait around for an invitation. No. That was not her cup of tea, as they say it. Waiting around for Geralt in terms of anything was a death sentence---boredom could kill her quicker than waiting for the Witcher to come to her.
However, his stench could have killed men twice Yen’s size. Lucky for her--in quite a few ways---she was indeed, not a man. “Tell me,” a click click click against the stones of the manor. Steps towards him that should have been near unbearable given the smell. “Do the widows and barmaids still slide into your bed when you smell like that?”
She was only partially joking. A smile might have sold it better. Smiles weren’t cheap. The greeting was more than what he could hope for though. Since their battles against the Wild Hunt and Ciri finally safe--Yen and Geralt did as they always managed....bickered and fought. Of course, it ended with Yen flying off in a rage. As it always did...
“At least you managed to bathe when I was around,” a shrug of the shoulder as violet eyes drifted away. There was an edge of jealousy that she hadn’t wished to be revealed just yet.
eyes like daggers. gaze unwavering. “tell me you didn’t come all this way to argue?” though it seemed that was precisely what yennefer’s guest had envisioned for their meeting. “that’s a rather dull turn of events. you didn’t strike me as the predictable sort,” and she uses the word like a slur. dirty. “come now. certainly there are better uses for our time.”
feel free to hit the heart or message for plotting or chatting. consider this a starter call!
I’m not asking for much...
2020 is almost done and over with!
With the final month of the year here, it’s your chance to send the mun or muse something you’ve wanted to tell them! Whether you haven’t had the chance to or you’ve been too shy, now’s the time to say what you feel, and don’t hold back!
Sue Zhao // Dialogues on Love #4 // “Maybe I already do”
greetings! well 2020 has been a hell of a year—in case you were unaware.
trying to get the muse all riled up again, feel free to like this for a quick starter (mobile) from the lovely yen.
@mxtherfxgure liked Lyrics starter from Marek Grechuta
“ Violins of July will play for you, the rowans will sing for you, trees, leaves, birds will sing. I’ll be dancing with you, talking about stories, the orange sun will be assembled in your hands.
And you precisely you will be my queen. And you only you will be my lady. “
his words were that of poetry. far more soothing than they had a right to be. he was meant to dole out unremarkable (awkward) compliments that left the sorceress rolling her eyes. yet here he was with—-how else was she to describe it? was she actually speechless?
and that angered yen to be without words. for Geralt to take them from her with such ease. anger may not have been the appropriate reaction, but it was hers nonetheless.
“your lady only until my absence. orange sun, is it? funny—I thought you preferred red.” and if he couldn’t understand her hatred for the color now—there was no saving him.
wishlist: a thread where each reply is a letter, signed and dated and everything. it could either be really long ones written over a long period or short telegrams. it would work so well with historical muses
Yennefer of Vengerberg | THE WITCHER 1x05 Bottled Appetites

Yennefer in Every Outfit
105 Bottled Appetites - Rinde Masquerade Gown
the plight of parents // starter for @ofrxvia
the day had proven itself to be more trying than she had anticipated. the ups and downs for someone who didn’t classify herself as a particular emotionally adept person had given her a headache from the moment she woke to Triss’ arrival (at the pleasure of nearly everyone at Kaer Morhen), later to the sound of her daughter’s voice filling the courtyard, and finally----reuniting with the witcher who had brought their daughter back. had she not ridden themselves of the djinn’s magic, yennefer would have assumed the feelings radiating inside of her to be but for show.
but how? how was she supposed to handle this amount of feeling? it was similar to the same terror that filled her body the first time she saw ciri bleed. yen would have let the gods themselves cut her from head to toe to keep the pain away from that little girl. but surprise was no longer a little girl, nor was yen’s love for her the only thing startling her into a restless night.
the moon shone brightly over the courtyard, where yennefer had decided to sit rather than lay in a bedroom that she knew must have been where her former best friend had slept. it was the reason a bed had been tossed from the manor---specifically, the finding of one single red hair. sleep would not come easily tonight.
but when she heard the footsteps behind her, reaching out to pry into the mind of her late night intruder, she spoke into the night. “it’s funny---selfishly, i always wanted to be a mother. i had gone so much of my life without that possibility ever being within my reach that when ciri arrived--i rejected the idea. she was no child of mine. she was not from my womb nor was she my surprise,” speaking with such openness and candor, there was only one person who could have stood with her this night.
“the moment i first heard the word ‘mother’ come from her lips---god,” a laugh that held no humor, only in that she was doomed from the start. “i knew i would burn anything that ever brought harm to her,” such a threat that did not lose it’s fire with age, despite the moment having happened so very long ago.
turning to look to geralt, eyes shining in the moonlight. “what if my fire cannot protect her geralt? what if the frost is so strong that even burning will do no good? i cannot---i will not lose her,” and she’s thankful for the night. thankful that she can at least pretend he cannot see her as well despite fully knowing his vision is far superior. she’s weak and vulnerable. all the things she has wished not to be.
Mxtherfxgure Sent : remember that lovely evening in toussaint? four bottles of wine and that little escapade in the wine cellar? let’s repeat the exercise...without the wine stains.
Unprompted || Always Accepting ! @mxtherfxgure
The sound of her voice drew his attention, golden eyes focusing on her as his head turned. An eyebrow rose as she made comment of an evening they had a while back, a soft chuckle rumbling in his throat as she made her point clear. A quick glance was given to their surroundings, before his eyes fell upon her again, his smile small. He wasn’t surprised that Yen desired a reminder of the event, she was about as unconventional as they come when it came to such things. He distinctly remembered the time she had them floating well into the sky for her pleasure. Not that he minded, though that particular incident had unnerved him. She held him thousands of feet in the air, damnit!
“If I recall, you were the one with the idea to use the wine.” The words were accompanied with a teasing tone, as if he were saying the wine stains wouldn’t have happened should she have not asked that of him. “Our wine cellar, or someone else’s?” Was the next statement, before she could refute his previous one.
an amused hum as he mentions the wine being her idea. “that it most certainly was and what a wonderful idea it proved to be,” lips hovered over his, merely ghosting over surprisingly soft skin. “how delicious you tasted that evening. a good year, indeed.” every word like the honey wine they had bathed in that eventful night. drunk with lust and a fair share of the vineyard’s specialty.
and at his question of location, a truly pleased hum began deep within her, melded with desire and curiosity. “here i thought you were going to be a stick in the mud about the whole thing. you know how much i love a good trip. sight-seeing is always preferred,” fingers lingering down the front of his shirt. ah---the sights she did long to see. “what did i hear of there being a ball at Belgaard? a perfectly good reason to pay them a visit. a new vintage just waiting to be...,” this time, her lips trail along his neck, teeth give his flesh a quick nip. “...uncorked.”
