I made this blog to serve as a place to share a part of me. what part of me? the part of me that is sony mavica fd95, hence the name
photography to me is personal. its expression, to show what i see. the little moments that stand out to me; life is just little moments, many of them at that. i struggle with person, not to my enjoyment. this though i like to struggle with
why the sony mavica fd95?
i chose this particular piece of kit because its the magnum opus of 3.5in 1.44mb floppy cameras. weird tech? sure, but I have a bunch of floppies laying around, what's a man to do. besides, cant beat the sound of a floppy drive whirring and ticking about
it was CHEAP, i mean $30 for a totally useable and nostalgic camera? funnily enough i had been eyeing this model in specific for some time and conveniently one came up for auction on ebay
about the creator
as stated above, im 16 & im currently doing prereqs for x-ray school, but thats about it. as you could probably infer i like technology, and have somewhat of a collection. hell, i like a lot of things. hell, i have a lot of collections... im on tumblr because why not, mainly here for art and for some aesthetic pages (i hate that word). i mostly indulge in writing, photography, gaming, mechanic work, nature (weird way of saying the woods), rain, driving, art, etc etc... i like to try new things, and a photography blog is a new thing
feel free to ask me anything, im an open book and on here for a reason :-P
expect this blog to hopefully be up and running sometime shortly, im relying on a 30 year old laptop to move the pictures off floppy
