“Love Boat Emily”

I participated in an art collab where we get to draw orange characters. At first, I didn’t expect Emily to be the one that would be assigned to me cuz she was my backup choice (MCSM Petra in her prison outfit was my first choice) but I didn’t mind cuz I haven’t done much Snuggford related fanarts for a while considering I’m into other fandoms now so this is my chance to do another GHOS fanart that is not Parker & Lane. For the collab theme, I had to choose an outfit for Emily that focused more on orange than green, so I looked her up online and found one of her outfit from the GHOS spinoff game, The Love Boat, where she wears this orange dress and thought it fits the theme perfectly. I never played The Love Boat before but I learned that Emily made an appearance in the game along with her sister, Angela. And since I kind of lost my interest in GHOS due to not receiving any new updates from the old time management games (besides Delicious since we recently got a remake and a Delicious 20 is on the way this year), this might be my last time to post a GHOS fanart probably until I draw a GHOS character for an art collab or if I just feel like I want to (I’m not quitting GHOS, I’ll still play the games regularly but I won’t be making much GHOS content like I used to in the past. Anyways, enjoy!

The background I made is a reference to one of the locations in The Love Boat, and it’s a free to use background if ya’ll need it.

I participated in an art collab where we get to do a crossover AU of any fandom we like. The first that I heard of this collab, I knew I needed to join this one. Parker & Lane and Resident Evil has been one of my dream crossovers that I planned to make so I decided to go with that for this collab. My idea for this fanart was to put Lily into the RE universe, decided to go with RE6 cuz that game’s so cool (despite it being overhated and I never even played it). Instead of making Lily wear her usual outfit from the P&L series, I decided to change her outfit and make her a new outfit. I remembered one of my fanarts that I made almost last year where Lily was wearing a different outfit and decided to do a redesign of it and give it more of the RE-ish design. I’m glad I got to be a part of this collab and I finally get to do one of my dream crossover with Lily in the RE universe!

Okay, making this artwork took me exactly ONE YEAR to make. Why one year, you ask? Because I kept on losing my motivation for this, in fact I even forgot I was working on this. I wanted to give up on this art but I just decided to finish it. This artwork was an idea that I had during the pandemic and I started working on this fanart last year. I had the idea of Angela Napoli (from Fabulous Angela) and Michelle Fairchild (from PINY Institute of New York) put in one artwork together considering they’re both fashion designers. Also, I thought Fabulous Angela and PINY would make a great crossover so I ended up making this one (and I haven’t done PINY artwork for a very long time).

“Down Boy!”

So I decided to join that one art trend that I keep on seeing online and I thought Parker & Lane would fit that concept lol. Tbh, it’s been a while since I didn’t do some Parker & Lane fanart. Also, I was asleep earlier and had a dream that P&L had a live action movie lol. Decided to make the art style different for this fanart too (cuz why not) if you’ve noticed. Sorry for the lack of GHOS content, it’s just that I’ve currently been focused on other fandoms that I didn’t have much time for this series. I’ll still be active with this series but slightly active now.

Hi! I’d just like to explain: as someone who’s been in this fandom since October of 2015. Why the distinction between Jesskas and Lukesse (and thus Jesstra and Jetra) were made! This is from my experience! Also please remember this fandom is ten years old and my memory might not be as sharp as it was.

So! Back when MCSM started, M!Jesse was the popular choice—as usually happens when there’s a male and female counterpart for a protagonist. I was with the few that ADORED F!Jessse (still do!) and I, as with everyone else in the fandom, shipped Jesse with Lukas—which was mostly called Jesskas! Lukesse was a fringe name I remember being used on the ttg forum. I believe that may even have been where Lukesse for F!Jesse/Lukas started! But, anyway, long story super short… F!Jesse/Lukas shippers wanted their own space! Because often F!Jesse was snubbed by the early fandom especially when it came to her and Lukas. The same thing happened to M!Jesse/Petra! F!Jesse was often seen as the only one you could ship with Petra. Just like M!Jesse was the only one seen as the one you could ship with Lukas. Even though Lukas AND Petra treat Jesse the same REGARDLESS of gender. Which I feel people forget from time to time. Petra isn’t solely into F!Jesse. Lukas isn’t solely into M!Jesse. If you can even say either is INTO Jesse. Romance isn’t canon in MCSM. Mostly just subtext read by the player (unless it’s Ivor and Harper) but I’m getting off track!

The communities were just better off split because A LOT of infighting happened and it could get nasty. So if you’re new here, please know, there’s a reason the two most popular ships are separated by names! Jesskas (M!Jesse/Lukas), Lukesse (F!Jesse/Lukas), Jesstra (F!Jesse/Petra), Jetra (M!Jesse/Petra) and that’s also the reason some are a bit… cagey… about keeping things organized. Not that they’re right to yell or otherwise be mean but there is a reason and honestly in this fandom I think it’s just part of the etiquette!

So! Please! If you primarily use Male!Jesse and ship Jesse and Lukas tag your stuff “Jesskas” and if you ship Jesse and Petra tag your stuff “Jetra”; if you primarily use Female!Jesse and ship Jesse and Lukas tag your stuff “Lukesse” and if you ship Jesse and Petra tag your stuff “Jesstra”. This isn’t me trying to police you! It’s just a manner of getting by in this little fandom as well as being respectful! You’re more likely to reach your audience if you use the proper tags too! I know the distinction is silly, but an interesting thing happened in this fandom where the Fem and Masc versions of the protagonist became separate people and were treated as such! It’s just easier and nicer to keep that up!

Now, of course, I know that begs the question. What if I make my Jesse NB? Your best bet is to just use the most popular tags “Jesskas” and “Jesstra”! I say this because those tags already get a ton of traction and NB Jesse’s have already been used ^^

Anyway! Enough of the MCSM fandom history lesson! Continue as you were and thanks for listening to your local Fandom Vet! ^^

“19 with the Girlies”

Today’s my 19th Birthday! My artwork here features the three fandoms that I’ve been active with the most in the precious year until now. So of course I had to put Lily in here as Parker & Lane was basically the game that I was first active with when 2024 started. Then I got addicted to Genshin Impact and I really loved Navia (I still love Diluc too) so I had to feature her in the art. And then there’s Helena, my fave underrated Resident Evil girlie cuz ever since I got into the RE series I didn’t expect that she’d be my favorite again (considering RE was a part of my childhood since my siblings played this game and I remember that really liked Helena back then when they played RE6). As the months went by, my interest for Helena didn’t change and I still love her as a character so I thought it’d be time to include her in my birthday art.

I gotta be honest with ya’ll cuz I was worried that I might not be able to finish this artwork on time. This artwork literally took me two weeks to make (it even came to the point where I stayed up late night until early morning just for me to finish this), the reason why is because of drawing Navia. Since it’s my first time drawing Navia, she was very detailed so it took me hours (two days including the break) to sketch her but rendering her took the longest. Lily and Helena weren’t much of a problem for me considering they don’t have much details in their design but Navia just had lots of details on her clothes and her hat, but overall I enjoyed drawing her. Maybe in the future I might try to draw more Genshin characters~

Announcement:

Hey guys, I have a bit of some sad news about the Parker & Lane AU.

So if you guys have been following me for a long time you probably know about this AU. But if you don’t know what this AU is about lemme tell you: Back in 2022, I have planned in making a family AU about Lily Parker and Victor Lane, this AU doesn’t have much CSI but instead it’s about them in a relationship, them getting married, and even them having their own child besides Daisy. I thought of making this AU back then because there was this Danganronpa Family AU about Peko and Fuyuhiko in Tumblr and I got really inspired and thought what if Parker & Lane had an AU like that. It even came to the part where I even made a fankid for them but I only drew her once sadly.

So, I will be pausing myself from making this family AU. The reason why some on my artworks of this AU (although most the works I made are just based on the two games) took this long is because I’ve been losing my motivation and I don’t really have the patience in making this. Don’t worry, I’m not gonna quit doing Parker & Lane fanarts (this also includes fanarts from other GHOS games), and I’ll still do some fanmade stuff depending on my mood. I hope you all understand :)
