How fast is the Audi Q5?

Despite being slightly larger than its predecessor, the second generation Audi Q5 weighed less; thanks in part due to design and build improvements in the body structure and suspension components. It's worth mentioning that whilst the 2 litre engines were fitted with the 7 speed S-tronic auto, the 3 litre engines were fitted with the more conventional Tiptronic 8 speed transmission.

Let`s address an often voiced opinion about Audi technology being "too complex". How safe is the Audi Q5?

ANCAP`s most recent test of the Audi Q5 gave it the highest safety rating of 5 out of a possible 5 stars, meaning it is a very safe vehicle to drive. Therefore, in addition to meeting the minimum safety standards, the Audi Q5 has a number of extra features that contribute to enhanced safety when driving it. Most of these are included as standard, and some are optional extras.

Why I sold my Audi Q5

When I first drove my sparkling Q5 out of the dealership, my first thought was “they`ve nailed it”. In other words, it felt perfect, right down to the details. Over the next couple of years, the question of whether or not this was the car I wanted to keep became somewhat of a conundrum.

The 2022 Audi Q5 is a competent utility vehicle featuring classy styling, punchy engines, an upmarket interior, and a refined driving experience. It should definitely be on the top of your list if you are seeking to buy a luxury compact SUV.

How Often Does My Audi Q5 Need Servicing?

Earlier cars, Audis included, required servicing far more often than the cars of today. Even as late as the 1990s and early 2000s, scheduled maintenance carried out at intervals of 8,000 and 12,000 kilometres (depending on the model), were the norm. However; by the early 2000s, the frequency of servicing was able to be drastically reduced to as little as once every 2 years with the innovative variable service schedule concept. (More on this later.)

However, for the Audi Q5 owner who has chosen the fixed service schedule, it is based on the average driver clocking up approximately 15,000km each year. But even if that figure isn't reached over the course of 12 months, Audi recommends that the Q5 on the fixed service schedule be serviced at least once annually.
