September 6, 2012. Alam na.
I haven't been posting for a while because I've been so busy. So,to make it up to you, I've got two stories today. Both of my stories are about fast food restaurants in my beloved country: Jollibee, and McDo.
I'll tell the story about Jollibee first. It happened today, at Megamall. I was so hungry, and I was looking for something to eat that wouldn't fill me up much but would satisfy my hunger; and I wanted something salty. The closest restaurant that fit my budget and taste was Jollibee. Rolling my eyes over the menu I saw a new meal: two pieces of chicken wings with fries and coke for only eighty (80) pesos. I ate real fast (faster than my normal pace) 'coz we had to meet my dad at three-fifteen. When I finished the meal, I realized how Jollibee cheats people: there weren't really two pieces of wings; there were two pieces of a part of the wings; in every plate they serve, there's just one wing chopped in two (picture one)! I just took a shot of it and thought of posting it on Tumblr. The thing is, you see how fast food restaurants cheat us? Ha. Look at that poster (picture two). You wouldn't notice it at first: at first glance it looks like two pieces of chicken wings - but they really just chopped the wing into two. They serve it in three different ways, by the way: one upper wing and one lower wing; two uppers wings; and last but not the least, what we can see in their promotion posters, two lower wings. It's hilarious, isn't it? I'm not mad at Jollibee really. It's just using most of what it can get from "propaganda". To the point they're deceiving people.
Now for my next story. We were at McDonald's waiting for our order, and saw this (picture three and four) at the corner. We could never know its story, but I do know one thing: there are many Filipinos out there that are starving and... and... how could he or she just waste those french fries?!
I love blogging about my country.

Every year no less than 400 people commit suicide in the Philippines. The most common methods are: drug overdose, drinking pesticide, silver cleaner, or hydrochloric acid, hanging, slitting one’s wrist, jumping from high places, and throwing oneself on the railway track of an oncoming train.
As we know, suicide is mostly prompted by depression, and as believers in the Messiah, we need to give out a continuous reminder to our friends that there is always hope in this life. Each life is precious in the sight of the Creator Yahweh, and He is in the business of redeeming souls from pain and suffering.
I am Jash Bagabaldo inviting you on World Suicide Prevention Day, Monday, September 10, at 8pm to light a candle and show support for suicide prevention and for the survivors of suicide attempts.

This is my outfit when I wash the laundry at midnight. I usually wash my clothes in the sink, (there is no washing machine [well, there is, but it's broken]), and there are insects that bite under the sink, so I hafta cover up my legs and feet.
I have a good time washing mi own clothes - manually. I could make sure that my clothes smell good. (And I tell ya. It's a burden to make sure my clothes smell good.) Washing manually is also a nice way to burn some fat, and to strengthen one's grip. (I'm kind of a wimp.) Just today though, I scrubbed my clothes too much I wounded my fingers. Still stingin' as I type. Hahaha... it makes me want a washing machine now.
Oh, and that shirt in the spinner. ROFL... looks like it doesn't belong in this blog.

From L-R: My cousin, my brother, my cousin.
The cat on the roof. It's huge! At night, we hear it fight other cats. And sometimes leaves us a surprise on the roof... somethin' disgusting.
This periwinkle is now dead.
You don't see it in this picture, but that day my best friend my other friend took off our shoes to play at a fountain. Hahaha... People stared at us. I think we've made quite a scene. Sheesh... Unforgettable.
In San Andres Bukid, when a transformer explodes, a whole barangay goes out of electricity. When there's no electricity and it's a hot, hot day, there's nothing much to do, y'know, caged up at home, no light, no computer. Boredom might reign. Last, last time It happened, my brother found a boredom-killer: a candle stick, and three matches. Well, as for me, I had my camera.
Don't do this at home.
