I had been meaning to draw Mao from bakuten shoot beyblade with acrylic markers, but just earlier today inspiration “hit”, so this is how she turned out 😬

Kaihil where Hiromi dates some odd guys in her college years into adulthood, and she struggles with her personal life and her relationships, since most fights end up with someone telling her she's too strong willed.

And these are not issues she brings to the team, apart from talking to Mao or emily or whoever.

and Kai, who just watches her from the sidelines in the show that's her own life, like he generally does, seeing past her temper and her headstrong exterior to a girl who's just filled with so much fire and heat and love while everyone else wants her to put it out.

And after seeing her cry about flowers. And he gets so mad at himself, he decides to ask her out himself.

Anyway, for this entry I wanted to draw ear piercings inspired by their Bit-Beasts, but adapted to each of them.

I'm back from the dead! :'D (But only for a while.)

I realized just how HORRIBLY DIFFICULT it is to draw such tiny details.

This was basically pixel art at some point x'D

But I still hope you like it! 💕

Kai Hiwatari Headcanons, Part 2

-Dranzer was a gift from his father, at least that's the story Kai prefers. The truth is, he doesn't remember how he got Dranzer.

-even though he has gained some memories back since the World Championship in Russia, he still doesn't remember most of his childhood

-he is trying to be a better friend, his progress isn't linear, but he's trying

-likes to exercise and drive in complete silence

-notifications muted 24/7

-black card as business card

-cold brew with extra ice

-"This manga series is so dumb", then reads the whole thing

-polite to the staff everywhere, all the time

-Kai is a beyblader known to consistently perform well, hence for many fans, he is overall a better player than Takao Kinomiya

Kai Hiwatari Headcanons

-Kai won’t get into a relationship until his early twenties, at the earliest.

-He has some Russian ancestry, which makes him slightly ethnically ambiguous

-His scarf has no special meaning, he just likes it, and yes, it was really expensive.

-Kai has offered money to grandpa Granger a few times, because he’s aware hosting a group of teenage boys can get expensive, but the old man has always refused.

-has an opinion on everything

-feels more comfortable with the Bladebreakers than with the Neoborgs in general

-his relationship with his parents is distant, at best

- either he’s not attracted to someone, or he would set a building on fire to get their attention, no in-between

- Kai is aware he’s difficult to deal with.

-His battle with Brooklyn has rendered him legally blind in one eye. It will take him a long time to make peace with it.

-has never said “I love you” to anyone

-can speak English with a perfect posh British English, but most of the time he tones it down

- gets very stupid when he’s in love because his repressed self cannot handle all the feelings

-He can only cook rice and instant noodles.

-doesn’t really swear… except in Russian The “blind in one eye” headcanon is from @iamtrashyartz‘s headcanons list, I love it so much I had to include it.
