Shark Mermaid~ Mariam had to be a shark >:D I've had her half complete for about a week now. Couldn't decide on how to do her tail. I considered not making her all scaly like my other mer pics, and then I remembered I made Ivan have scales even though he's an eel, so I buckled down and finished this lol

Mayblade Day 26: Cosplay I managed to draw something for Mayblade! yay :D I probably won't have time to draw another but I'll seeee Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho is one of my other favourite characters, so when I saw this prompt I got the idea to draw Kai dressed as Hiei! XD The anatomy didn't come out as well as I liked, but didn't want to spend too long on it. I just have to keep trying to improve! (I have a long way to go still)

MayBlade 2026- Day 4: Future...istic?

"Greetings, this is Captain Takao Kinomiya of the Starfleet Ship Dragoon."

Star Trek AU! Headcanons under the cut!

Captain Takao Kinomiya- The youngest son of a long line of decorated Starfleet Captains. With a mother killed in action, a father away exploring the furthest reaches of the galaxy and a brother who rejected the family legacy to disappear off-planet; Takao enrolls in Starfleet Academy eager to make friends and prove himself. He quickly rises up the ranks to become Captain, beloved by his crew.

Commander Manubu 'Kyouju' Saien- Chief Science Officer- Takao's intelligent First Officer, a childhood friend who followed him into space rather than taking up any of the university offers he received to his family's horror. He considers it his self appointed task to keep the Captain out of trouble as much as possible, but can be coaxed into adventures with enough interesting data.

Lieutenant Max Mizuhara- Helmsman and Tactical Officer- The son of Judy Mizuhara, the president of a private scientific organisation; he enrolled in Starfleet after hearing accusations of nepotism one too many times. He bonds with his Academy roommate Takao, and is delighted to stay with him as they head into space. Famed for his clever defensive maneuvers in battle, he's a very talented pilot.

Lieutenant Rei Kon- Tactical and Navigations Officer- Born of a traditional clan with no love for space travel, Rei spent his childhood secretly charting stars and watching Starships cross the night sky. He flees the night before his eighteenth birthday, before the ceremonies that would bind him forever, and enrolls in Starfleet. A natural explorer, his quick instincts also make him indispensable in a fight.

Commander Kai Hiwatari- Chief Security Officer- The heir to the large and wealthy Hiwatari Enterprises, a merchant company with ties to the military; Kai runs away from home after causing a catastrophe at one of the labs that he cannot truly remember. Takao's biggest competition for the rank of Captain, he becomes one of his greatest friends and protectors.

LT Commander Hiromi Tachibana- Chief of Operations and Comms Officer- Another of Takao's childhood friends, she enrolls in Starfleet a year late after being inspired hearing Takao and Kyuoju's stories. Catching up on pure merit, she graduates in time to join the new group of friends on their first adventure. Determined to prove herself dependable, she has to learn to depend on them too.

Retired Captain Ryunosuke Kinomiya- A kind but animated old man who retired to care for his grandson when his daughter-in-law passed away. He raised Takao basically single handedly, and is delighted to provide a home to this group of runaways when they're on shore leave.

Admiral Kogoro Daitenji- A well meaning but scheming official that sees the potential in people before others. He visits his fellow captain Ryunosuke, intending to inspire Takao to follow his heart into space. He develops a soft spot for this group and petitions for them to be placed together on a starship once its clear how well they work together.
