Nine months ago I spent some time with the most magical and beautiful insect I’ve seen in my life. It brought me so much joy that you could never imagine. This video I took was after saving him from a spiderweb. He stayed with me for a long time, so I could appreciate all his beauty… Is like if he was made of stardust and all the magic in the world was in this tiny being. I researched later on and it seems that he’s an Iridescent tortoise beetle - Physonota calochroma. This were the last seconds with him until it flew away.

Did you know ladybugs will swarm to find warm places to hibernate? When one ladybug has found a nice ‘snuggle’ spot they will release a pheromone to let the others know where to find the warm resting place! Amazing! 🐞🐞
