The worst thing in life is to lose a friend, a friend that means the world to you, a friend that put all your trust and faith in, a friend you believe in from the start, a friend that took the center of your heart, a friend you wanted to cherish for a lifetime, a friend.. a good friend.. a best friend..
Don’t you hate it when your friends change? They aren’t the person you befriended at first. Sometimes it’s a small change that doesn’t really affect anything or a change for the better. But other times it’s not. And it’s those times when you realize that if you met them today, you wouldn’t have become friends in the first place. And you feel bad when you stop being friends, but you realize that the person you are mourning has been gone for awhile.

Do you know how much it sucks? Losing a best friend? Like actually losing your other and better half? Losing someone you talked to every day, all the time? Someone you looked forward to talking to regardless of what it was, even if it was a fight? Losing someone you gave everything to, to the point where I have nothing else to give anyone else, when the other person can’t even give you the time of day? Losing the person you’d spend every day with if you could? The one person that made you smile. The person that hurt you a million times, over and over, but you still forgave them and would do it all over again if given the chance. The person you do give anything just to see them more time.

Realizing your best friend doesn't really care about you anymore
Two Months today...
I knew there was a reason I was a little extra sad today. Two months today that my (ex)Best Friend and I stopped talking after a 13 year friendship. I have been getting better thanks to new and old friends coming into my life. Just really wish I didn’t have to go through this any longer. I hate when anger and sadness creep into my mind late at night. Or a random memory will. Its hard to turn off caring for someone. Specially when they obviously don’t/didn’t really love or care about you the way you thought. I see Best Friend posts everywhere and I hate to be upset that others have what I thought I did. I don’t know if I will ever be that close to someone again.
Losing your best friend
Have any of you ever felt like you were losing your best friend? You know, the one that was with you through thick and thin? Recently I’ve been feeling that way. And when I talk to that person, they say “it’s inevitable” because one of us moved. So what do you do in this situation? It’s especially hard if that was the only friend you kept around. Well, personally I think that it’s just time to get a new friend and hope it all works out in the end., that the original friend will change their mind or something.
