“Once Aspiring Artist”

Five months ago, I quit my job as a manager at a consulting firm in the technology industry and set out to do something that “filled me back up.” It’s not that my work was inherently bad- in fact I enjoyed it on a lot of levels- but I felt like my life was getting too one-sided. I’ve always been an aspiring artist, an aspiring writer, an aspiring poet- and I was wondering if the clock was running out on my aspirations. If I don’t try- ever- can I really continue to claim those titles?
