My genderqueer partner, @scarlet-silverweaver , their trans sister, Noraa, our collective 4 cats, and I all need help to avoid eviction.

With Noraa being forced to move in because their mom refused to take her with her during their mom’s recent eviction and us needing to help pay for things to get settled, family and vet emergencies taking our money back to back for two consecutive weeks, being waited out or forced to quit from being discriminated against for being disabled and stalked at jobs, and the job market proving impossible to be hired anywhere and all 3 of us being unable to find jobs, we fell behind on our $300/week agreement and we got the notice that we’re about to be on our 3rd eviction at $1800 behind on rent and we have no way of catching up on time and nowhere to go. “Rental assistance programs” have been proven useless after they all told me they don’t actually do that even though resource pamphlets and emails said they do, and they all send us to one place that runs on a lottery that isn’t fast enough to save people from eviction. We’ve been given until the 5th to get out before they get the court involved and that’s impossible for us.

If you would like, as a thank you for any donations, I can draw your favorite character in my style. I can color it in, but I don’t think I will have time or spoons for any full renders with job searching, resource searching, and UberEats delivering, just…generally trying to avoid this eviction at all costs. However, drawing will help me keep my sanity as well, and if you would like to gain something back, it would provide me with something else to focus on.
