I think men will never understand how wonderful women feel when they realize they have a gift to create Life...but I guess some of us entrepreneurs come close to that feeling when we try to create something magical out of nothing, and then believe it's going to live

Thanks for nominating me GoaProject. Really excited to meet and share my ideas and vision with all those awesome people.
Thanks you for the invite TEDx. It was an amazing experience to witness so much of awesomeness in one place!
Coz our time is limited, and a lot needs to be done!
All those amazing, unique people we learned about first in our 2nd standard GK books have slowly passed away, from Mother Teresa to Nelson Mandela, and more... so if Life is about balance then there should be others stepping into these shoes and will start shining bright in few years time. The greats, the rebels, the revolutionaries of tomorrow are in the making and they must be somewhat our age right now. If that doesn't inspire you, nothing would!
“As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn't leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I'd still be in prison.” - Nelson Mandela
When we see it in a movie, we just feel sad…until one day when you are the one in the movie. That’s is when it hits you really hard.
I wonder what would a young mother on her death bed must be going through seeing her toddler play beside her bed and knowing that she’ll not be around her...
Take It For Free (TIFF) : Turning an Initiative into a mass Movement
1500+ and counting. Come Join us. https://www.facebook.com/groups/takeItForFreeBangalore/ Take It For Free (TIFF) : Turning an Initiative into a mass Movement All this started with just a small, little feeling I had one day after I came back from my morning walk on a beautiful, drizzling Bangalore morning. A feeling, an urge to give something back to this world without expecting anything in return. So, I decided to give away something really precious for next 7 days, everyday, for Free...which I did, but I wasn't prepared for what followed next. Honestly, It felt a little weird in the beginning. Selling spare, used stuff that can get you some extra bucks easily was completely logical and sane, but giving it away for FREE was like defying Logic. A rebellious feeling against a mechanical selfish system of wanting more . TIFF gave me a strange sense of happiness and satisfaction, a sense of purpose. To my surprise, what I started as a small gesture of good will is now turning into something bigger and important. A lot of people have joined the initiative and opening up and offering furniture, books, bags, musical instruments, gadgets and even free classes for dance and other skills . Today we are 1000+ strong, but I believe its just a beginning. I need your support. A lot of us are blessed to have more than what we need in Life. Its just that we live under that impression of wanting more, to an extent that we keep collecting stuff that we don't need, will never use. I request you all to look into the closet, that book shelf, that drawer or even under the bed. Start small...but do start! If you run a cafe, a boutique, or any public place and would like to support TIFF by spreading the news, lets meet. All I expect is one cup of yum, extra hot coffee with you and I'll try to share a vision that's contagious. So lets spread the word, break some rules, confuse the brain and give our heart a chance for a change. Lets change the world, together! Cheers' Vikas Singh

So, finally, who's fault is it?
U are a woman. Nature chose you to be physically weaker than the male counterpart. Its by design; not a curse. A lot of women can't get over their looks and body. For some its a part of the profession, for few its everything. Well nature wired you to be that way too...but that only should not define who you are. Step up. Stop feeling pity and disgust about society and how men are. Its not about men, its about disgusting , wrong people. Even if you refuse to think that way, you cant change 600+ million men in this country, let alone the whole male society, but there are things you can do if you choose to. Its ok to get your hard dirty, have a messy hair or look like shit. Go learn kick boxing, pursue street photography, open a school or run a startup. Be as equals if not more than the men you hate so much. Easier said than done because when it comes to action, you'll feel lazy. You'd sleep till 9am but wont get up a little early and use those extra 2 hours to learn those important survival skills that don't require strength, but knowledge about how to twist your attackers wrist and elbow to leave them in agonizing pain. No that sounds so difficult and hardwork. Also, you might break your beautiful finger nails.
You dont want people to comment when you smoke or booze but then how many of you do have the stamina to sprint 500m like crazy to outrun those pot bellied, drunkard bastards if things go wrong?
I know I do sound like an male chauvinistic ass hole but trust me, deep down I am scared 'cause I love you, I respect you and i know that I might not be able to protect you and be there for you every time, and so I want you to be strong, as strong as you can be.
No man can fight a group of 7 men alone, so how do we expect a woman to. Specially when three of them were trustworthy. Its wrong, unfair, unfortunate, a lot of times beyond human capabilities to outrun. Rape is not your fault and I don't even want to get into the discussion of how a lot of "men" feel about those animals. But I do believe that being prepared with basic self defense techniques, is our responsibility, specially if we know that we are physically not that strong. Its a jungle out there and Nature is all about survival. Survival of the fittest, so either step up or get stamped over. That's life and no, nobody said anything about it being fair.
There are men who are worth being with, who'll not only take care of you but will also respect the fact that you too can fight by their side, together, when surrounded by thugs. Being physically weak is alright, being a liability is not. That's your fault. Goes for everyone. I dont like these gender debates, because I dont see you on the other side of the table. You are a mom, a sister, a cousin, a friend, a wife. Lets get over these tea break discussions, media breaking news, and facebook shares...lets gym together, eat healthier, quit smoking, bury the orthodox, enjoy equality, respect the differences, take care of each other and be a better race.
Difficult? Possible!

Are You A Misfit ?
The team we are building here at Psi Phi Labs is based on some very unconventional practices. Something you might not see in the corporates, or even a lot of other startups for that matter.
We don't ask programming languages concept questions when we take interviews. In fact, It would be better to say, we don't take "interviews". We never have a list of aptitude or mathematical puzzles. I just look for one answer in people I want in my Team. The Question is "Why?"
We are not looking for the best of the best talent out there. We believe that's not enough. We are looking for people with a purpose. We are looking for the misfits who are stuck deep down into the system, who seem to blend well in the mundane but spend every day of their life thinking they are meant for something bigger. We am looking for the rebels who suffocate out of mediocrity. I am here to build a team, an army of such gifted misfits, who can come together to achieve the impossible.
Finding such people is not easy. If you are one of them then getting in our team wont be easy either. We'll push you to the very limit of your intellect and creative thinking. You'll be challenged every single day to handle something insanely difficult, not only mentally but emotionally draining as well. And most important, you'd be invited only if you can make an awesome team even better. Working in a startup is hard, managing to get into the best ones and surviving there is even harder.
If you are sane, you wont apply, if you still want to make your life challenging as hell and in the meanwhile wont mind having the most memorable years of your life, I'd say that's a start. Go through these write ups, and if you still feel crazy enough to works with us, drop us your portfolio.

We can't change a Nation, or may be We just might !
I am an entrepreneur, and currently me and my team are chasing an ambitious dream called Dronna (www.dronna.com), but before I tell you more about what are we upto, let me tell you a story about a kid who'd grow up to attempt something like this. Its a long writeup, so I'd suggest you grab a hot cup of coffee before you proceed :).
Born to a Missile Research Scientist dad and a Social Entrepreneur mom, I had a peculiar way of looking at things even as a child. I was at awe with what an amazing thing a human brain is and how much useful information it could hold. The problem was, somehow telepathy was only a fascinating word and all this information stays trapped inside our brain unless someone asks us about something specifically. What if there was a super brain, to which all other brains were connected to, and which had all the knowledge combined, I use to wonder. I also felt sad that what a loss death is to humanity, that erases a lifetime of knowledge, wisdom and invaluable experiences in a moment.
Well, it seems life gave this kid a purpose, an opportunity, and what else I could have named it but Dronna, symbolizing knowledge, a teacher.
Dronna's long term vision is to crowd-source all the important information, knowledge and experiences of people and use technology so that one day a child can talk to his great great great grand father via Dronna and learn how things were back then. Currently, Dronna is a search engine that works on few fundamental concepts...like, how too much of information and too many choices lead to unsatisfactory decisions and how, in real life we dont have 500+ friends but those few whom we trust and who end up helping/influencing us most of the time. Be it social groups like new parents, the expat communities, the traveler community, the gadget freaks etc., every important decision is an outcome of reliable recommendations and useful experiences driven by trust and influence. That's what Dronna is today.
A B2C internet, crowd-sourced product that every wise man in the Indian startup ecosystem will say that India is the wrong place to start. I do agree with all the challenges such a product in India might face as part of our internet maturity and how we, as a culture, have a natural tendency to consume(information) more than provide, are risk averse and laggards in technology adoption. But I also believe that its an opportunity.
We criticize why cant a product like Google or Facebook can come out of India, but we forget that its a huge challenge and at some point all the pointers are suggesting the entrepreneurs to move to the valley. I am not against this advise. Its true and it works at times. We just want to try and see if we could be one of those few who stayed back, and attempted something ridiculously ambitious. May be we'd succeed, may be not...someone will.
Currently, we are trying to figure out ways to reach the masses. See if there are people in the system who could see the deeper intention behind Dronna and not see it as a mere review or recommendation site, or laugh at us thinking we are trying to replace Google. We are not. A post on Facebook page that talks about the various facets behind Dronna : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=404960436286464
Dronna is at its very infancy right now, might not even look near to what I talked about but every passing day takes us closer to our vision. Here's my Team. Together we dream, together we try, together we can.
