This week, we keep things retro by challenging a trio of monsters from the olden days of MH. We start off with a Rathalos while Sarah struggles to find her way through the worst zone in Monster Hunter history®. Next, we make short work of an Uragaan, feeling pretty bad about it tbh. We finish up with an epic struggle against a Lagiacruz. Stay tuned until the end of the episode for a special taste-test of some bizarre new Japanese snacks!

For today's episode we kick things off by taking down a Yian Garuga in cat mode--a tougher fight than you might think. Next, we face off against a brand new monster to Monster Hunter X: Tamamitsune! (aka "Bubbledragon", "Mr. Clean", "Big Suds", etc.) Next, we say hello to a familiar face who gives us a beating we wont soon forget. We wrap things up with a relaxing fishing quest in honor of Fishing Game February while discussing some mature topics.

This week we kick things off by taking on a Nargacuga, as Sarah uses her newfound Bowgun skills to break its wings. Next, Roy struggles to get his Lance mojo back against a Zinogre (aka Papa Z). After felling a duo of bears, we try our darnedest to beat the Snow King Lagombi in a reasonable amount of time.

This week we return from our holiday hiatus in style, as we take on Sarah's HR 3 advancement quest: Raizex! And we do pretty well for ourselves, too! Next, we hop on a quick crab--or at least Roy does--before we finish with a Felyne-exclusive quest.

This week on My Fair Hunter, we show off our new armor sets before taking down a 'snarf (aka Nibelsnarf). Next we try our hand at the new Lagombi subspecies and get put on ice. Finally, we grind down a Yian Garuga.

Hey all,

Just wanted to let ya know that there won’t be an episode this week (and apologies for a lack of updates last week as well) but we are currently in the process of gearing up for Monster Hunter X! Naturally, this means a few technical bumps as we set up to record a Japanese 3DS game vs. an American one. We are also currently in the process of tracking down a pair of copies of the game, which has proved much harder than anticipated as it is totally sold out everywhere. (Please direct all blame at Roy who failed to reserve copies in time) We will keep ya posted, but are hoping to have the game this week and hopefully an episode ready for ya’ll next week!

Next we fail epically at delivering Sootstones when attempting to take on a certain familiar maw from our MH3 days. We finish up by poking a Brute Tigrex to death in the arena.

This week we push hard against High Rank, and it pushes back a little harder! We start by brinigng down a Khezu, which allows Sarah to make her very first Evasion set! Next, we feel the burn against a Brachydios, before Roy triple-carts to a Stygian Zinogre cosplaying as Sephiroth.

Lock and load, cuz it's a special Gunner edition of My Fair Hunter! Sarah dons her brand new Light Bowgun as Roy gives her a trial by fire--literally--against the Black Gravios. Next up, we fight try to lighten up a little by fighting a monster who is VERY familiar to most hunters: Rathian! Using unfamiliar weapons against familiar monsters is a great way to learn. Finally, we nearly drift off to dreamland while gunning down a Basarios and a Ruby Basarios.

This week we get things started with a warm up against an onslaught of sharkmen! (Skip ahead to 14:10 for the REAL fights--or as real as they get anyway). First up is a Najarala, in which we show our TRUE power level. Next up is a Rathalos who makes us question the meaning of wyvern vs. dragon--which I think we've already done? We wrap things up against a Brachydios while talking about Unity and McDonalds happy meal toys.

It's a very spoooky Halloween edition of My Fair Hunter! We kick things off by donning our costumes and taking on a spooooooooky Khezu! Next, we make quick work of a terrifying Nerscylla! We wrap things up with a Brute Tigrex and a halloween story sure to make your skin crawl. You've been warned!

For today's episode, we complete our Gore Magala set--and promptly realize it doesn't give Sharpness+1 like Roy thought. Oops! Next we rassle a Lagombi (aka Lagombs) and a Zamtrios (aka Sharkman). We finish up with a weapon challenge in the arena against a Kecha Wacha and a Rathian.
