How Did You Do With Holiday Eating?
My brothers came over on Christmas Eve and my little brother cooked for us. It was a challenge to watch him prepare the meal and see how I used to cook vs how I cook now. He flours and fries meat while I grill or bake most everything now. He uses 1% milk I use skim. He uses regular salted butter while I use The Best Thing Since Butter. We do use olive oil to cook with though. They still use instant potatoes. On the plus side the potatoes were gluten free. They also don’t measure ingredients. There are sometimes I don’t but because I have been doing it more I can better eyeball what a measurement looks like now and the times I do I mostly get it close.
I have come a long way but I still have a long ways to go. This past year was spent researching and trying to find foods that work with my hypothyroidism. Now that I have a better handle on some things I am going continue to research and test things out.
I also lost my job before Christmas so I will have more time to dedicate to my blog here, my YouTube Channel and my Patreon.
Share with me how your holiday eating went.

New Theme and New Feature
I changed themes. I like this one better. I also added an area Let’s Talk Thyroid Issues where people with thyroid issues can talk to me and I can help answer any questions I feel I can answer for them.
On Processed Foods
I have gotten to the point where processed foods no longer appeal to me. If it isn’t made with ingredients that I can’t pronounce I no longer care to put them into my body.
Where else you can follow my journey and support me.

Life with hypothyroidism.
Means reading food labels. Forcing yourself to some kind of sleep routine so you can manage to function each day. Being more aware of everything from what you eat, to what you drink to what you eat and drink out of.
New to Tumblr
I’m Joe I have been on a journey to deal with being diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I’ve been re-engineering how I eat over the better part of the last year. I needed to work on making it a lasting habit change so I can gradually move on to the next phase. Consistency has been my biggest problem with diet. Not dieting but diet.
I hope to find an additional source of support on this platform.
