On 11/24/2016 (Thanksgiving), we ran in the Pfeathered Pfun Run 10K in Pflugerville, TX. Steve finished in 59:31 and Elizabeth finished in 59:19.
On 10/29/2016, we ran in the Monster Mash 10K at Karbach Brewing Co. Unlike the prior year, there was no flooding and we both were able to finish the race. Steve finished in 1:03:40 and Elizabeth finished in 1:01:55.
On 9/25/2016, we ran in the Schlotzsky’s Bun Run 5K. Steve finished in 31:43 and Elizabeth finished in 31:29.
On 9/17/2016, we ran in the Bearkat Bash 5K. Steve finished in 31:31 and Elizabeth finished in 30:33.

Houston Half Marathon 2018
Elizabeth and I are running the Houston Half Marathon for the tenth (!) time in January (we’ve also done the marathon twice, so this is our twelfth time participating in this event). We'd appreciate it if you'd consider donating to the Houston Food Bank on our behalf.

Our goal is $50 each per mile ($655 each or $1,310 total).
The Houston Food Bank does really good work, including having done a lot to help with the Hurricane Harvey recovery:
If you choose to donate, thank you!

On 1/17/2016, we ran in the Aramco Houston Half Marathon. Steve finished in 2:14:23 (new PR!) and Elizabeth finished in 2:25:04.
Since we also ran in the ABB 5K (we participated in the ”the Houston Double”), we got three medals.
On 1/16/2016, we ran in the ABB 5K. Steve finished in 30:55 and Elizabeth finished in 32:14.
On 11/26/2015, we ran in the Pfeather Pfun Run 10K. Steve finished in 1:02:35 and Elizabeth finished in 1:03:05.
On Saturday 10/31, we ran in the Monster Mash Run. Steve finished the 10K (apparently, just less than an official 10K) in 1:10:18 and Elizabeth finished the 5K in approximately 39 minutes. We planned to both run the 10K, but due to the flooding, the race was called early.
There were two loops in the 10K and Steve had just completed the first one when the race was called so he didn’t know and went ahead and finished the race (going through knee-deep water in some intersections -- thankfully, police were still directing traffic). Elizabeth completed the first loop right after the officials closed the course so she was unable to complete the 10K.
The picture of Hopadillo above is from the following day. The finisher glass for the race is the one on the left.
