- Blog where I post my agere fics - DNI if you: support pedophilia/MAPs, support LGBT+ phobia, support ace/aro exclusion, and are n$fw, cgl, or kink. This is a completely sfw space!!! Also R/e/m/R/o/m shippers dni! DNI banners are by babyboynamedsapling. Check them out!
Currently, I've mostly written Sanders Sides agere content. However, I would like to expand that to include My Hero Academia. These fandoms could broaden later on, they are just what I feel familiar enough with to write currently.
If you have any requests, just send them to my inbox and I will get to them as soon as I can if I feel comfortable writing it/feel I can do it justice.
What I write on this page is entirely sfw age regression. I do not write anything s*xual or k!nk related.
Hi, everyone. I know it's been a WHILE. I just wanted to give a final update.
I've had a lot happen in my life the last couple years and I just wanted to say thank you to those who enjoyed my stories here! The reason I haven't been updating or posting here is because I've been writing a long-standing story centered around The Sun and Moon Show. "Look What You Did, it has Anxiety" just reached 72 chapters last week after three years and is my most long-standing fic to date. What started as just a handful of agere one-shot requests has evolved into a lot more than I could have ever dreamed possible. And it all basically happened on accident.
If you enjoy TSAMS and agere content, then I think you'll enjoy the story! Just be mindful of the tags and warnings on each chapter.
I just wanted to make a final post on here to say that this blog is on permanent hiatus. I know people probably figured as much, but I wanted to officially state it and explain where I went. Thank you to all those who sent in requests and who enjoyed the short stories I wrote! It was a lot of fun getting to write different stories and ideas, and being able to interact with people! I'll leave the blog up so the stories don't go anywhere.
Hi hi! I was wondering if I could please request a Little! Gender Neutral! reader with a Caregiver! Katsuki Bakugou, but he doesn't know about their regression yet?
Please and thank you!!!
Have an amazing day!!! <3
Of course! I'm sorry for the delay, but I hope you enjoy!
Warnings: just Bakugo's potty mouth. Nothing is said out of anger or anything towards you, he just has a bad habit of not watching his language. If anything, he's frustrated on your behalf.
"Nap Time"
You found yourself watching your favorite cartoon after you got home. It had been a long day of villain fighting, paperwork, and mean people that just couldn't understand what all hero work required. You couldn't be everywhere at once! It was no surprise that you needed a break from it all.
What was surprising was that you ended up regressing after everything.
And that's how Bakugo found you: wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket, watching your favorite childhood cartoon with wide eyes. That wouldn't have been weird if it hadn't been for your soft giggles and the thumb you were gnawing on absentmindedly.
"Um, hey there?" He was uncharacteristically quiet, unsure of what to say.
Hearing him, you grinned and held your arms out for a hug. "Bak'go! Come sit! Missed you!" You excitedly patted the couch beside you with one hand, Bakugo was home! He could watch your favorite show with you! Maybe he'd even help you put together your new lego set! This was going to be so much fun!
Bakugo hesitated, still unsure of how you were acting, but smiled and sat beside you. He could never resist a cuddle session.
"Hey, bear. How are you doing?"
You snuggled close and sighed, content now that he was with you. "Fine. Bad day, missed you."
He snarled, pulling you closer. "They make you do all the paperwork again? Those fuckers." He fumed, the other heroes at your agency liked to dump all the work on you and get all the glory for themselves. He couldn't count how many times you'd come home with other people's documents, struggling into the late hours to get everything submitted.
"Mhm. An' people were mean."
Bakugo grumbled to himself about 'self-righteous a-holes', but you didn't pay it much thought. You just curled up into his chest and sighed contentedly.
"Bak'go? Can we take a nap? P'ease?"
He paused again, hesitating at your phrasing. You sounded so...small? Childlike? He'd have to talk with you about it later.
But right now, there were more important things to worry about.
"Sure, bear, we can take a nap. Come'ere." He laid down on the couch and pulled you with him, so you were laying on his chest. Then he pulled the blanket over the both of you.
You wrapped the blanket tighter around yourself and relaxed into his hold. "Night, Bak'go" you whispered, eyes already closing as your breathing slowed.
"Good night." Bakugo made a note to talk with you later. He wasn't judging, no! He just wanted to know how he could help you better with whatever this was. It clearly helped you relax. And honestly? He was glad you'd found something that helped.
He just wanted to know how he could be there for you through it.
For now, he closed his own eyes and let himself ease into the couch. He was just glad you were able to rest, for once.

I'm so sorry that I'm just now posting this! My music taste is very eclectic, so this is about to get interesting (I did skip more mature songs because I try to keep this blog entirely sfw and child-friendly in case someone is on here and regressed):
For the anon who sent in the Dabi request: It's currently in the works! I've gotten about half of it written, give me a day or two to finish and post it :)
Thank you for the request and as a reminder, the inbox is always open!
Hi hi! I was wondering if you would mind if I request a little reader with a caregiver Dabi? And basically the reader is kinda stressed so they regress? Thank you!!
Absolutely!!! I've never tried writing Dabi, so I can't promise how well I'll keep him in character, but I love the idea! Thank you for the request!
Warnings: usage of one (1) bad word at the end, but not in a negative way! Dabi is determined to be the best caregiver he can be despite not having had the best childhood, himself.
"Ember?"
"Hey, ember" Dabi sighed a greeting as he stumbled into the beaten-down apartment. Sure, he had reformed himself somewhat. That didn't mean he could afford a decent place to live right now. Luckily, he had you to visit and brighten the otherwise dismal place.
Speaking of...
"Ember? You still here?" Surely you hadn't left yet? When he went to work this morning, you had asked if you could stay at his apartment to prep some meals for him for the week. He hadn't wanted to agree (I mean, it isn't like he needed you to cook for him. His fridge may have been empty, sure, but he had food. Plenty of it. Somewhere...), but he couldn't resist when you'd promised to make his favorite spicy soba.
"Hey, I'm home. Everything ok?"
He heard a sniffle from the closet and immediately stiffened. "Love? Are you in there?"
Another sniffle and a quiet shuffle. He opened the door and there you were, unsuccessfully trying to become one with the coats and jackets.
"Sweetheart, what happened?" His deep rumble soothed the panic you felt. You peeked out from under a stitched-up jacket with wide eyes.
"Here, it's ok. Whatever it is, I'll take care of it." He held out his rough hands in an offering to hold you. An offering that you hesitantly took.
Once you were wrapped in a warm embrace, he lifted you up off the ground and sat the two of you down on the worn futon. "Hey, is someone feeling small?"
You couldn't help but melt at the rumbling voice that vibrated his chest - so comforting to a regressed and terrified little. You nodded slightly. "Mhm...store was loud...an I couldn' 'member the 'ecipe an I was scared you'd be mad I didn' make the food an...an-" A hiccup stopped you before you could finish.
"Shh, don't worry about any of that. We can cook together anytime. I'm not mad. It's ok."
Inside, he wasn't ok. He knew how overstimulated you could get at the store. He should have offered to just pick up the groceries on the way home. Maybe you'd still be little, but you wouldn't be so scared! He should have just stayed home today and spent the day with you. He should have-
"Dabi? Can we cuddle?" Your small voice broke him from his trainwreck of thoughts. Right, he still had a little one to take care of. His fault or not, he needed to be there for you.
"Sure, ember, we can. Do you want me to go get your stuffy while you get the blankets? We can cuddle in the living room and watch cartoons on the laptop."
You were nodding excitedly and dashing off before he could finish. He chuckled and grabbed the aforementioned items.
He may not be a perfect caregiver, but damn if he wouldn't do his best.
For the anon who sent in the Dabi request: It's currently in the works! I've gotten about half of it written, give me a day or two to finish and post it :)
Thank you for the request and as a reminder, the inbox is always open!
Could a maybe ask for a fic where a gender neutral reader is little and is watching mlp friendship is magic (I don't care if it's the show or the movies) with Aizawa as their cg? If not that's okay!
-💚
((Thank you for the request! This one is going to be super short, and I'm really sorry for that :/ I do have to say that Aizawa is one of my favorite characters to write!))
"Papa! Lookit!" Aizawa smiled down at you, taken away from the show you two were watching for a minute. "What is it, Honey?"
"I made Fluttershy!" You held out the picture you had colored to him. Indeed, you had colored a picture of Fluttershy from your coloring book. You held it up to the television to compare your artwork to the 'real thing'.
"That's very good, y/n. You did a good job."
You smiled under the praise, not able to suppress the happy wiggle of your shoulders.
"Papa, y' think I can color all them?"
Aizawa chuckled. "You can color as many of them as you want. Who are you going to do next?"
"Apples!" You paused. "But she's not in this one."
"Aizawa winked. "Well, guess we'll just have to watch another episode after this one's over to make sure you can color her." He booped your nose.
You laughed and proceeded to find a picture of "Apples" to color next, already getting out what you thought may be the right color crayons.
Little space Janus.. Regressing in the middle of an argument? Anyone as caregiver?
((I'm so sorry for how long it took me to write this! I'm always up for a bit of hurt/comfort :)
"Stop!"
"And if you would just listen, just once! Then maybe we wouldn't be here! But look at what happened!"
"Oh come on, like you're innocent! At least I don't project my issues onto others!"
"Oh, I know you didn't just try to pull that card!"
"Oh, I absolutely did! And let's not forget the whole 'hide Remus and Janus from the others' game!"
"Seriously? That again?!"
Janus couldn't really decipher who was saying what anymore. The conversation had started out like any other - curt smiles, civil phrases like 'how's your day', everyone pretending like they weren't not-so-secretly mad at each other. Then Virgil had found Remus's sock in the coffee grounds, Remus had vehemently denied that it was his ("It's covered in octopi and has a big red stain on it! Who else could it belong to?"). Remus mentioned that there were cobwebs on his ceiling that definitely hadn't been there the night before ("Your stupid spider probably went in there when I scared Roman in the Imagination! How else would they get there?").
From there, it had turned into insults. Insults turned into airing dirty laundry, and now the two were caught in a screaming match where they took out their frustrations on each other.
Normally, Janus would be fine with a situation like this. After all, he had his own feelings surrounding how Virgil and the others had treated him and Remus. But today it was too much. He'd had so much going on lately, what with talking more with Patton, Virgil drawing further and further away, and Roman outright refusing to even look at him now. None of that included his usual responsibilities of keeping Remus in check, making sure Virgil's worries did not send Thomas into an outright panic, having Thomas take care of himself, and keeping back the ever-wrathful Orange until the right time.
In short, he was stressed and overworked. He couldn't handle it all anymore.
"Ssssstop!!!" The lights flickered for a moment and flashed between bright white and deep yellow while something unseen slithered along the kitchen floor with a low hiss and a rattle.
Virgil and Remus froze. Janus never lost control like that.
"Janus? You alright?" The deceitful side curled into himself and began to sniff. He remained silent.
"Jan, come on, what's wrong?" Remus and Virgil glanced at each other, wondering the same thing.
"'S too loud."
Virgil mentally cursed at himself for not noticing how upset Janus was. Between him and Remus, he was the one most responsible when it came to times like this. After all, he'd been taking the caretaking role for Janus for years now.
Virgil stepped forward and hugged the other side. "Hey, no one's mad at you. Remus and I just got too angry and should have taken a break. You didn't do anything wrong, ok?"
Janus remained silent. He clung onto Virgil, hands fisted in his sweatshirt.
Remus walked off to the living room, switched the tv to some kid-friendly channel, and headed off to his room. As much as he would love to stay and comfort Janus, he tended to scare him more than anything when he was small and scared.
After sitting with him for a little bit, Virgil took off Janus's hat to pat his head. "Hey, let's go sit and watch tv for a bit, alright? We can talk when we're both calm. Does that sound ok?"
Janus nodded slightly and held onto Virgil tighter.
"Alright, let's go sit down, buddy." He picked up the other side and carried him over to the couch to sit. After making sure they were both comfortable, Virgil waved his arm and hoped that he was summoning the right thing. Janus was always better at summoning items from places other than his own room, Virgil tended to overthink and grab the wrong thing.
Luckily though, he grabbed the right one this time. "Hey, I've got Bananaconda here. He looks like he wants a hug." Janus reached out for the stuffed twin-headed snake and immediately drew it in close to himself.
"Is that a bit better, Jan?" Deceit nodded and kept his face hidden.
"Alright, let's just relax and watch some tv. We can talk if and when you're ready to later. Let's just rest for a bit." Janus nodded and curled into Virgil's side.
If you asked them later, it never happened. Remus would deny it outside of their personal circle and Virgil would insist that he and Janus weren't talking to each other. Janus could deceive his way out of almost any conversation. The trio may have their differences and be going through a rough patch in their relationship with each other, but they still looked out for each other when it mattered.
This was requested by @satanssfavoritebook a LONG time ago and I'm so sorry for just now getting to it! Again, life has been crazy. But I hope that they enjoy this! I feel like it's a bit ooc, but I tried my best.
I absolutely could see this kid regressing. Is he a brat? Yes. But has he been through a lot? Also yes.
It's mostly involuntary for him and he hates that. He hates how he has to be a kid to cope with things that happened years ago. He tries to repress it for as long as he can before he regresses on his own in his room.
It doesn't take long for Claude to catch on. He notices that Alois sometimes demands for supper to be left outside of his bedroom so he can "eat in privacy". But he suspects that it's more than that.
One day, after leaving the tray, he waits around the corner to see what the boy could possibly be hiding. When he timidly cracks the door open and near-silently drags the food into his room, Claude can see the almost childlike glee that sparkles in his eyes when he sees that it's his favorite food.
After that, Claude starts to prepare dessert separately and takes it to his room later, hoping to discover what has Alois so excited about food.
He finds out one night when Alois didn't respond to his knocking. He found the boy crying and clutching a stuffed toy to his chest.
After that, Claude realizes what may be happening and does not leave the food outside the door anymore. He insists on handing it directly to Alois. Eventually, Alois begrudgingly lets him into the room.
It took months, but Alois eventually finds himself comfortable enough to regress in front of Claude (or at least for the other to find him regressed already).
Claude isn't the most paternal, but he tries. He makes sure to purchase a few toys to have on hand (after all, Funtom does have the best quality toys and candy on the market).
Alois may be a brat regularly, but he's the complete opposite when he's small. Part of why he hates his regression is because of how sensitive and timid he becomes. Crying and hiding are regular occurrences when he's small.
The candy and toys do come in handy when no one can find Alois. Simply light the fireplace and leave some candy and toys nearby and he's sure to come out. After all, he didn't have anything so fancy when he was small. These items are treasures to him.
He's essentially nonverbal. He doesn't say anything to anyone, but he will point and gesture when he wants something. Hannah insists that he whispered a 'thank you' once, but no one else has heard anything.
Since Claude isn't the best caretaker of children, Hannah usually takes on this role. Despite how he treats her when he's older, he's so endearing and scared as a child that it's hard for her to refuse. He also seems to treat her better once she starts caring for him while he's small.
Alois enjoys being read to and held. He also enjoys stuffed animals (he keeps them hidden in a closet when he isn't regressed, but he always takes them out while small).
He isn't very active, but good luck finding him without a bribe if he's hiding!
I always see todoroki as a little....can you write a story with him as a cg...hes a comfort character for me that I sometimes like to picture as a cg for myself..
Thanks for the request! Sorry for disappearing, life got pretty busy and hectic. This one will be a little short ^^'
Note: The inbox is open for requests, I just can't promise when I'll get to them. I currently have a couple others lined up that I'm going to write as soon as I can.
I hope you enjoy! I kept y/n gender neutral so that anyone could read this :)
"Honey, I'm home." Shoto came into the house and took his shoes off at the door, ready for a relaxing evening with you. He paused as he set his boots beside your sneakers - usually you'd answer him when he announced he was home. Or you'd meet him at the door. Today, the house was quiet.
Eerily so.
"Y/n? Where are you?" Fearing the worst, he power-walked through the living room and into the bedroom.
He urgently opened the door, then sighed with relief. You were curled up under a blanket with your thumb in your mouth, stuffy clutched to your chest.
'So it's a Small Day' he thought with a sigh of relief, glad to see that you were ok.
You blearily opened your eyes at the sound of the door opening so loudly and yawned. "'Roki?" you murmured as you rubbed sleep from your eyes.
Shoto smiled fondly and approached you to settle on his knees in front of you. "That's right, 'Roki's here, sweet one." You yawned again and crawled into his lap. You tucked your face in the side of his face and sighed. "Missed you."
"I missed you too, Honey. Did you get tired?" "Mhm. Still sleepy. Wan'ed to 'prise you with a cuddle pile, but got too tired."
He glanced over at the bundle of blankets that you had been curled up in and noticed a few stuffies, as well as a bag of Rainbow Goldfish.
"Aw, did you want to cuddle and have snack time when I got here?"
"Mhm! Waited, but feel 'sleep. 'M sorry."
"Don't be sorry, we can still do all that. How about I get the laptop and we can watch a show while we cuddle?"
Though tired, you became excited and nodded. "Yes, p'ease!"
He chuckled softly. "Alright. You get back in the blankets to keep them warm and I'll go get the computer." "Kay!"
You dove back into the blankets and he chuckled fondly again. He loved getting to spend this time relaxing with you and being able to care for you. He'd do anything for his small Honey.
Hii can you do transfem!Todoroki (with the name Aizumi) and transmasc!Izuku regressors with CG Aizawa 🥺🥺
Thanks for the request! I'm going to do my best to write this, I hope I do it justice! This is coming from someone who isn't necessarily trans, but doesn't entirely identify with their body and pronouns. Gender is basically just ??? right now. But that's me, everyone is different.
Anyway, that 's just a heads-up so I don't accidentally offend anyone. Please enjoy!
Warnings: mentions of body negativity and body dysmorphia, but that's quickly helped with some comfort from Aizawa <3 Also Bakugo's potty mouth, but he isn't trying to be a bully. He cares for his friend even though he won't admit it
Also, this got pretty long...
"Real"
Aizumi Todoroki hated her given name. She wanted nothing more than to change it, but her father kept an iron grip on her life still. He was putting her through the top hero school in Japan, after all. If she could just get through graduation, then she could be herself without worrying about what he thought or did about it. If she could just endure a few more years, then she could really be Aizumi.
Izuku Midoriya had similar feelings, albeit slightly different. He knew he was a boy, always had known, but he did not have the money to change what he wanted to. Sure, his class in high school recognized him as who he really was and called him by his name, but it did not change certain aspects of his appearance or what his legal identification said. His mother always apologized, wishing she could afford to change what his birth certificate said, but he always smiled and told her not to worry. It was not her fault.
After all, it was his fault that he was not born 'normal'.
Aizawa Shouta had noticed that two of his top students had not been performing like usual. Todoroki was slower and just barely dodged Kirishima's blows. Midoriya seemed to be distracted and spent most of his time running from Bakugo instead of trying to get his own hits in.
"Focus, you idiot! You haven't even tried to punch me once!" Bakugo yelled after Midoriya dodged his ap shots once again. "I am, Kacchan!" "Then fucking fight me, wimp!" Another explosion, this time Midoriya just barely pulled his arm out of the way before fire blasted across where his fingertips had been. He glared.
"What's gotten into you today? You're just staring off and barely even here. What kind of hero spaces off like that in the middle of a fight?!"
"Leave me alone, Kacchan. Mind your own business."
"Seriously! You're like that fucking purple-haired zombie. Man up and-"
"I said leave me alone!" Lightning shot from Midoriya's foot as he arced it up and aimed for Bakugo's face. Bakugo was faster, however, and dodged before kicking his other leg out from under him. Midoriya landed on the floor with a dull thud.
"See what I mean? You're slow!" Izuku remained silent and kept his face tilted away from Katsuki. "Hah, nothing to say?" Bakugo would have continued, had he not heard sniffling coming from the ground.
"Deku, are you hurt? Look, shit, I have to tell Aizawa, just tell me if anything hurts!"
"Hey, Deku?" Izuku sniffled louder and completely turned onto his side, clutching his knees to his chest.
"Deku? You good?" Izuku shook his head and tucked his head into his knees, refusing to look up at his childhood friend's concerned face.
Bakugo got as close to Izuku as he could, now able to hear the other mumbling in between sniffles. "...not a boy. Bad. 'Zuku's bad."
Bakugo's eyes widened and he got down to his knees. "Deku, look, I didn't mean to get so rough. I didn't know you were...you know...but-"
"Bakugo, is Midoriya injured?" Aizawa was already halfway across the gym, the rest of the class watching with concern.
"I don't know, but- well, he-" "M fine!" Izuku sat up, turning a teary, angry scowl towards Bakugo. "Tell 'im 'm fine, Kacchan!"
Aizawa raised a brow and looked to Bakugo. "I'm going to assume you know at least partly what's going on?" Bakugo bit his cheek.
"No! 'm FINE!" Angry tears began to fall down Izuku's cheeks as he pounded the floor with his fists.
"Alright, I'll be taking him with me. Thank you, Bakugo. Midoriya, come with me."
"NO! I won't cuz I'm fine! Not gonna do it!" Aizawa watched Izuku become increasingly more frantic and upset, now thudding his fists and feet onto the floor.
"Midoriya Izuku. Come with me to sit on the sidelines for a few minutes or I will not hesitate to call your mother." Izuku instantly became silent, dejectedly pulling himself up and glaring at the floor.
"Thank you. The rest of you, keep training. Bakugo, pair up with Kirishima for the remainder of class."
Izuku trailed after Aizawa with a scowl, still glaring at the floor with his arms crossed tightly over his chest. He followed him for what felt like hours, before a small voice greeted him. "Zuku?"
Izuku looked up to see Aizumi sitting on the bleachers, holding a plastic teapot and teacup. As Izuku glanced around, he noticed a stuffed bear with a matching cup.
"Izuku, I know that you were having big feelings out there, but I'm here to try and help. Do you know what's wrong?" Izuku stayed quiet, keeping his arms crossed and looking back down at the floor.
Aizawa sighed. "You're not in trouble, I promise. I only want to try and know what's wrong so I can help. Are you hurt?"
Aizawa would never admit it to anyone, but his heart broke a little at the words. "Izuku, you are a real boy, don't you know that? You are a brave, strong boy who will make a great hero one day."
Izuku shook his head and muttered something. "Can you speak up, please? I couldn't hear you."
"...Said you can't help." "Why not, little one?" "...cuz can't make me a real boy."
"Nuh-uh, not real." Aizawa thought for a moment. Then he had an idea.
"Well, is Aizumi a real girl?" Izuku looked shocked that he had asked. "'Course! She's th prettiest! Gots pretty red an' white hair an' she's super smart an' she's the best!"
Aizumi blushed and tilted her head down. "Zuku..."
Aizawa nodded. "Yes, Aizumi is a real girl. So that makes you a real boy." He turned to the other little. "What do you think, Aizumi?"
She was quiet for a moment, "Zuku's a real boy. He's hansome and smart and we trade clothes sometimes."
Aizawa turned back to Izuku. "See, Aizumi and I both think that you're a boy."
"But...But I don' look like a boy."
Aizawa sat down and motioned for Izuku to sit with him. "Izuku, of course you do. Boys all look different. There's no one way to be a boy. And if it makes you feel better, I used to be just like you, too."
Izuku's eyes widened and he looked up at his mentor. "You too?!" The corner of Aizawa's mouth turned up. "Yeah, and one day you'll be able to help someone just like us. Until then, know that I think you are a very smart, very brave, very real boy."
Izuku smiled, tears filling his eyes again as he rubbed at them.
"Zuku?" Aizumi's soft voice gave him pause. "Wanna play tea party?"
Izuku glanced at Aizawa, silently asking permission. "Go ahead, little one." With a wide grin, Izuku joined the tea party with Princess Aizumi, Sir Snuffle-Bear, and Sir Aizawa.
If class ran a bit late because some of their classmates joined in on the fun, who could complain? If Bakugo ruffled Izuku's hair to remind him that he owed him a game of knights and dragons - cuz the squirt won last time, there's no way a knight can beat a dragon twice in a row! - no one saw a thing. And if the girls promised Aizumi a make over - yes, Aizumi, of course they'll paint nails too! - then the rest of the class would make time to join in.
But one thing was for certain, even if some would never verbally acknowledge it, they all cared for each other and accepted each other's real selves.
Just...some little Janus during movie night getting scared by the horror movie thats playing...and caregiver Virgil?
Ohhhh yes, yes! Thank you, anon! I'm sorry this is so late and isn't that well-written. It's been a heck of a time, but I was glad to write this!
Warnings: mentions of a horror movie, nothing graphic or detailed
Big Janus loved to watch horror movies, especially the psychological ones. The ones that twisted your mind and really made you think about what was happening on screen. About society and the light and dark of the world. He and Logan would spend hours tearing them apart, discussing morals and nature vs nurture. It was a favorite past time of theirs, and it was something that Janus liked to enjoy on his own, as well.
Small Janus, however, did not share this same affection. He thought that what was happening on the screen was real and that some monster was coming to get him, imaginary or otherwise.
So when Big Janus popped in a movie at the end of a long, tiring day, he had not been planning to regress partway through and be stuck shaking on the couch.
This movie was particularly gruesome and bloody, with each victim being watched via cameras as they were put through some gorey 'game'. Janus shrieked and hid his head as the timer ran out on screen and a trap was set off. He kept his head there for quite some time, not wanting to look back at the screen. Curiosity got the better of him and he eventually peeked, only for his eyes to widen and another gasp to echo throughout the room.
Big Janus would analyze the killer's motives.
Small Janus ducked under the couch.
It only took a few minutes for someone to quietly pad into the living area. "Janus? Was that you?"
Virgil cringed at the movie playing on screen. He'd never liked blood and gore, it gave him too many nightmares. He already had plenty without adding more.
He turned off the movie and switched the tv back to the home screen. But he could sense that he was not alone. "Janus? Seriously, don't try and scare me after making me see that. You know how I am with those kinds of movies."
Virgil did not hear or see anyone, but knowing how a certain green-clad side could be, decided to look around to make sure. And there under the couch was Janus, tucked into a ball and eyes wide.
"Janus? What are you doing under the couch?" Janus stayed silent, shaking his head and curling up tighter.
Virgil thought for a moment, then seemed to understand. "Did it scare you, too?" Janus nodded and sniffled quietly.
"Hey, it's alright. Do you want me to hold you?" His voice grew softer once his thoughts were confirmed - that Janus had gotten too wrapped up in the movie and regressed partway through a particularly scary scene.
Janus paused before slipping a timid, gloved hand out towards the other. "Sssafe?" Virgil gently took the hand with a nod, "Safe, I promise. I'll stay to make sure it stays that way."
Janus slowly made his way out from under the couch with Virgil's help, then the two sat together on the couch. Janus curled up into Virgil's side with a sigh, clutching his arms around him tightly.
"Do you want to watch a show with me? Like Miss Spider?"
Janus nodded vigorously. "Pleasse" he lisped, thumb already inching towards his mouth.
Usually Virgil would gently remove his thumb and go grab a pacifier, but that would mean leaving the vulnerable, scared Janus. So he let it slide this time. "Alright, Miss Spider it is."
Janus was asleep halfway through the episode, so Virgil simply turned the volume down and put an arm around the other. "Goodnight, Jan. Have sweet dreams."
