Weekend Recap

So I couldn't go see DayShell after all :(

I was really fucking sad about missing this monumental moment, but the fact that I have friends all over that are going to see them makes me happy :) I wanted to do something for them anyway, so I sent Tyler an ask, telling him that I wanted to send them something, but I needed an email, so he gave me his and I sent them another Chipotle egift card, with a sappy letter attached, haha. 

The next day (today), I was having a pretty weird morning, so imagine my surprise when I see this :)

I never put my Twitter username on my gifts, 'cause I do it 'cause I want to, not for any recognition, y'know? I think it's sweet that Tyler always takes the time to tweet me, and Raul was a bonus! I also got a tweet from Shay later while he was answering questions!

But yeah, then I was in class so I didn't pay attention to my phone and my laptop was closed, then all of a sudden I check and I see these tweets from Emily and Maaike telling me that I won the Instagram contest!! Not the grand prize (which wouldn't do me any good anyway, since the closest date already passed), but I get signed poster, which is really rad and made me happy. I hope it's personalized, haha :P

Maria, is it cool that if for the gift, I write a group letter to put in the book and if I write separate letters for the guys, could you give it them personally? :3

And yeah, I miss you guys a lot. I hope you're all doing well <3

So I’m just going to copy and paste everything I sent to Maria on iMessage

Anyways, we’re waiting and I notice I can hear Not Coming In the background, but I thought I was just hallucinating since I made Dani listen to the CD multiple times on the way there (it wasn’t long, but we got food, and then I realized I forgot the tickets on the counter, so we went back [‘cause it wasn’t too far], and then we ate in my car and talked)

And then I hear Avatar and I start to freak the fuck out oh my God, and that’s when I started tweeting and singing along

I was literally shaking because I was so happy! I love PTV so much, I do, but man, I was so happy they were listening to DayShell

And yeah, I’m just singing along while Dani is freaking out about meeting them. I was surprisingly calm though

So yeah, towards the end, it was just us three and I went first. Vic was first and he held out his hand AND I FUCKING SHOVED MY CD BOOKLETS INTO HIS HAND LIKE AN IDIOT

THEN I WAS LIKE I’M SORRY OH MY GOD AND THEN SHOOK HIS HAND AND THEN SHOOK MIKE’S HAND AND THEN TONY’S AND THEN JAIME’S

LOL, AND I SAID IT WAS SO NICE TO FINALLY MEET THEM AND STUFF

AND THEN I FORGOT EXACTLY WHAT JAIME SAID, BUT IT WAS SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF “ENJOYING THE CD/I SAW YOU SINGING”

AND THEN I FREAKED OUT AND I WAS “OH MY GOD, YES, THIS CD IS SO GOOD!”

THEN I ASKED HIM IF HE HAD A FAVORITE TRACK SO FAR AND HE SAID HE HADN’T LISTENED TO IT MUCH BUT HE WAS REALLY DIGGING NOT COMING IN

HAHA, AND THEN I WAS LIKE, “EDGE OF THE WORLD IS FAVORITE” 

OH, WELL, I SHOWED THEM/JAIME MY SHIRT, HAHA (Maria had asked me if they saw my shirt, ‘cause I was wearing that burgundy red DayShell pocket tee)

I WAS (SOMETHING) LIKE, “OH, I LOVE DAYSHELL, SEE!” … “BUT OF COURSE, I’M EXCITED TO SEE YOU GUYS” LOL, I’M SUCH A LOSER

So yeah, for the picture, I went back to Vic and Mike and I was like, “I’m ba-ack!” Haha, and they’re like, “Yeah!” 

So we each stood in between them and they’re like, “Come closer!” AND VIC GRABBED ME BY MY WAIST JESUS CHRIST AND HE SMELLED SO GOOD

I didn’t even know what to think. I was just like, “Smile, don’t look creepy.”

So we had “reserved seating” as opposed to general admission/floor seating and we were kinda far back at first, but we ended up being sneaky and moved closer after The Wonder Years

All Time Low was fun and funny, as usual. I sang along to the songs I knew and man, I was laughing and smiling the whole time

Then PTV, Jesus Christ, I had to stand up

So we were singing along and man, I had forgotten how amazing they are live. They put so much passion and energy into every performance, the guitar solos killed me and man, so perfect

And yeah, I’m still waiting for the guy to post my PTV picture. I’m so stoked for it. I just hope I didn’t turn out looking like a weirdo. :)

Two weeks!

The All Stars Tour - Saturday, August 10, 2013 at House of Blues Houston

So after seeing DayShell during their first tour in March, I just fell in love with them and eagerly awaited for their return, which happened today :) 

I was really excited and nervous for some reason. I actually managed to learn some of the songs, so I was stoked to be one of the first to be able to sing along (aside from Share With Me) before the album is released.

I left my house at about 12:30 and my best friend Dani and I did our usual tradition of buying Panda Express and eating in the parking lot of the venue. Actually, as I turned onto the street, I am pretty sure I saw them driving so naturally, I freaked out.

Anyway, I kept turning my head while we were eating ‘cause I had bought them some stuff (including the owl!) and I wanted to give it to them before hand, but I couldn’t find them. Then, as we were walking towards the venue (I had to cross the street), I saw Jordan and Sebastian. Haha, I was like, “Jordan!” and then Sebastian turned around right as I was about to call his name. I asked/yelled if they had time ‘cause I had stuff in my car I wanted to give them, so they ran across the street (after looking both ways of course). I introduced myself (they remembered me from Twitter and I was like, in my head, “shit, maybe I shouldn’t tweet them so much omfg”) and we walked back to my car.

Haha, I told them something among the lines of “please don’t think I’m weird” and I gave them a pack of clean shirts and socks. Their expressions were priceless, haha. I’m so glad they liked it. And then I gave them the owl! Haha, they did not see that coming! And finally, a card containing a Chipotle gift card and a link to a letter I wrote for all of them online. They thanked and hugged me and they were so sweet ahhhhh. We went our separate ways: I went to join the line and they went to go put the stuff in their van. 

I actually kept running into them before the show started! Haha, they didn’t know how to get up (building was three stories), it was so hilarious. I guess they figured it out eventually. I kept waving at them, haha. :)

Once I got inside, I went for the barricade. Actually, I was behind the people from the barricade. I didn’t mind though, ‘cause they were all short and I’m fairly tall, but once the first local band started, I ended up front and center on the barricade! I was so fucking happy!!! I kept seeing all the guys watching side stage, which just made me all the more excited.

Freaking finally, Raul, Jordan, Tyler and Sebastian came out to set up and by 2:57, the show started. They played their five songs: Suck My Ass, The Imbecile, The Edge of the World, Not Coming In and Share With Me. I sang along and bobbed my head as best I could. Haha, to be honest, I felt kinda awkward being the only person with my hands in the air, but I was definitely singing along! 

There was some punk ass kids yelling Austin and shit and Shayley told them to go fuck themselves. I honestly didn’t notice this until my best friend told me afterwards, and Sebastian told me too. It’s probably a good thing ‘cause I was just hyped up enough to tell them off. Little shits…

Anyway, I sang along and I got so happy when they played “Edge of the World!” I yelled, “THAT’S MY FAVORITE SONG!” I am so embarrassed now omfg. But it’s true, I love that song more than life itself (okay, I’m exaggerating but seriously, lovelovelove it). At that point, I didn’t care and sang as loudly as I could to that song and to Share With Me, which I definitely knew.

So once they were done, I caught up with Dani at their merch table and just waited for the guys so I could take pics. We couldn’t stay the whole time, but I wasn’t bummed since I was just here for DayShell anyway.

First to come with Shayley. I waited until he was less swarmed to approach him. I told him I got them the stuff and he thanked me and hugged me. And he thanked me for singing along and I told him I probably messed up a few words, but he says he messes up something too. Then I reapproached him so he could sign my ticket! Then I ended up buying a hoodie, which he actually offered to me, but I couldn’t accept it. My primary concern was helping them out! Still, that was so sweet. Then more hugs :) And then a lot of waiting. I was paranoid they weren’t going to come, so I tweeted them all and Tyler said they were loading, but they’d be there soon!

Raul came eventually. Poor guy was sweating! He was glad to be inside, haha, so we took a picture and then he signed my ticket as well. He was really nice :) Then more waiting and eventually Jordan and Tyler came! Jordan saw me first and we just got to talking about naming the owl and other stuff. Haha, he’s a very easy person to talk to! Eventually he got pulled away by another fan, so I approached Tyler! We had a really nice chat and it was so great to finally talk to him in person! Seriously, it was long overdue! :) Sebastian took the longest to get there, but he was really cool and we ended up talking quite a bit too (like the assholes I should’ve cursed out)!

Eventually though, I had to leave so I said goodbye to Tyler and Sebastian (I couldn’t find the rest of the guys, so I was kinda sad tbh) and we went on our way. I’ll hopefully see them again in October. I’ll try my damn best to be there! :)

So yeah, that was pretty much it. I’m so giddy right now, it’s pretty ridiculous.

I’m really looking forward to their album release in September and possibly seeing them again in October. They were so amazing and they honestly just keep getting better and better… I felt really proud of them. I know, kinda lame, but still. I just really love those guys. They’re so easygoing and kind. To have been able to watch them grow is really wonderful. I just know they’re going to be amazing. I can’t wait for the next time!

Support BCOctober: Day 5.

If you were able to choose an ideal Breathe Carolina setlist consisting of ten songs, what would they be and why? Do these songs hold any special meaning to you? Do they relate to anything in your life? If so, what?

Another tough one. I tried to split it evenly between all three albums.

Rebirth + Wooly - These two just go hand-in-hand. I loved that they used this as an opener for SILYMI. Although I do miss “Gossip” as a show opener, I think the combination of these two builds up the anticipation.

I’m The Type Of Person To Take It Personal - I think the transition between these two songs is pretty great. And it’s very upbeat and fun to jump to. The lyrics are awesome, and David is adorable when he starts using his hands to interpret the lyrics (“These eyes they see, more than you know”).

Lovely - I hope they never stop playing this song live. It’s one of my favorites and it’s such an emotional song when you actually analyze the lyrics. And towards the end, when David tells everyone that on the count of three, to start jumping up and down… I don’t know, there’s just something about everyone jumping up and down in unison that makes it so much more fun.

Blackout - I’ve adored this song since that 32 second clip came out, haha. This song is so much fun to sing in my car, haha. When they played it on Jimmy Kimmel, I couldn’t contain my excitement. Now they’re on the radio, and it makes me feel very proud of how far the boys have gone :) 

The Birds And The Bees - This song is special because it was the last song of their set when I first saw them. I remember Kyle jumping out into the crowd and wearing my hat, haha. In subsequent concerts, when he jumped in, we would somehow always manage to hold hands as the last notes of the song played. Plus, the hushed, “Wait, right here, just for a minute…etc” is one of my favorite verses out of all the BC songs. I will never forget this song.

Hello Fascination - I think most of us have had a crush on someone who wasn’t good for us, and that’s what this song sort of reminds me of. Plus, I thought it was pretty catchy and the music video was very colorful. And the “whoa’s” at the end are always fun to sing along to live. When I first heard it live at Warped ‘09, that’s the only part the crowd learned, haha.

Sweat It Out - Ever since the demo video was leaked, I fell in love with this song. I dance like an idiot to this song when I’m alone, haha. And SILYMI made it even more special because Kyle heard me screaming the lyrics out, haha.

Diamonds - I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. It’s special to me and my best friend. We used to sing it everyday on the bus, haha. It’s the one that first got me into it. I adore the message it sends. Plus, it’s my favorite music video from them. It’s simple, but makes you want to gather up a bunch of your friends and have a massive paint war!

I.D.G.A.F. - Who doesn’t like to dance around with their middle finger in teh air and figuratively say, “Fuck You!” to the world? Haha, I don’t know, this song is just so much fun and was one of my favorites when HF came out. I had it on repeat and just couldn’t stop dancing to it.

Put Some Clothes On - I’ve never seen this live, but it’s my favorite song by them. I’ve seen videos and the introduction to this is absolutely amazing. If they played this song live now, I would cry out of sheer joy. I love this song so damn much.

I tried to create kind of theme with these songs, mostly falling in and out of love, and basically, just dealing with life. I actually did start to type up a “story” behind these, but it was getting too long and not the purpose of the topic, haha :P Anyway, they don’t really “relate” to my life, but just listening to these songs makes me happy and puts me in a great mood. I think it’s mostly because I can relate most of them to a tour memory, or love the song so much, or both! To be able to go to a show with these songs would be amazing. And even though this wasn’t part of the question, I think a wonderful encore would be “Gossip” or “That’s Classy.” :)

This is the Valentine’s Day card I got from the guys from Kill Paradise because I pre-ordered the deluxe package for their album, The Glitch. They weren’t kidding when they said hand-made. It’s made out of construction paper and colored with crayons. Much too cute!

What made it so special to me was that they remembered my name! Granted, my name’s not very common, but still. They remembered I was the one who was running Fuck Yeah! Kill Paradise and that just made me really happy, for lack of a better word. Being remembered by people you look up to and respect and admire is just one of the best feelings in the world. There’s no word to describe it…

So yeah, I just thought I’d share :)

What does Breathe Carolina and their music mean to me?

I don’t even know where to begin. First and foremost, what I fell in love with first was their music. After coming to terms that The Medic Droid had broken up, I decided to look for similar music and Breathe Carolina happened to be the first band I found.

I immediately loved what I heard, so I downloaded their discography. I remember “Diamonds” being the song that truly got me into them. It remains so special to me to this day. I even cried when they played it at SILYMI. The last time I had heard it live was two years prior, at Warped Tour ‘09, which was my first BC show.

Their music, wow. They’ve progressed so much, but there’s always a certain core to each song that is definitely Breathe Carolina. Their music makes me feel so damn good. It makes me wanna dance, which, if you knew me in real life, doesn’t happen all that often, haha. There’s just something about the way they sing that draws me in. I can’t pinpoint if it’s David’s voice, Kyle’s screams and harmonies, the lyrics or the beat. It’s everything to be honest. 

Breathe Carolina just make me so happy. Their music, their shows. Honestly, I go to their shows just to see them. It usually means having to stand for hours, having to deal with douchebags, crazy bitches and crowdsurfers, but in the end, it’s totally worth it. I scream/sing my lungs out during their shows. It’s almost like letting out all my pent up frustrations in the form of a crazy dance party, haha. I have so much fun, although my ears ring and my feet hurt the day after.

Then the boys themselves. They’re so sweet in real life. You can tell by the look in their eyes that they’re genuinely grateful for their fans. And when they thank you personally for going to their shows, you feel like a million bucks because they just put off this wonderful vibe. It’s almost addictive, the way they make you feel. When you interact with them, especially when they’re on stage, it’s absolutely amazing. 

I love them so much and will continue to support them for as long as they make music. Probably after, even… This was really long, haha. Sorry :P

Like the Warped Tour ‘09/Umbrella Clothing poster on the top left, below the Electric Valentine card. That was from the meet and greet I went to at Warped. It’s when I first met them and they were just so sweet. I fell even more in love with them. And hours later, when they played, ahhhh. It was amazing. It was the first time I ever saw them live and as a result, it holds a special place in my heart. <3

Then the one on the bottom left, which was from the latest tour. I got it for VIP, and they signed it before we took pictures. It got a little wrinkled, since it was one hell of show, but it makes me smile when I look at it.

The Hello Fascination poster (below Warped) is from when I pre-ordered their Hello Fascination album :) The one right below that one… I can remember when I got this one, to be honest. It may have been from one of their shows, but I can’t recall exactly. :P

The small one on the bottom right, I ripped out from a Fearless Records calendar I got for free from ordering BC merch :D Then the two above are from pre-ordering Hell Is What You Make it.

I’ve also got two picture frames, with pictures from Warped ‘09, the first time I met Kyle and David, and another from when I first met Josh. I’ve been meaning to buy more and print more out, but I’m a broke college student :P

Support BCOctober: Day 3.

Write about your favorite tour memory with the band. What tour was it on? What made this tour experience in specific better than all the others?

TJ, this is too damn hard! :P Hahaha, but I guess if I HAD to choose, it would be the Scream It Like You Mean It Tour! I apologize in advance, ‘cause this is pretty long!

I had a very grueling summer, and the light at the end of that tunnel was seeing the boys again. I had saved up all my birthday money and bought the VIP package for my best friend and I. So we live in the suburbs, and the concert was downtown… we ended up getting lost. We actually had to have a cop escort us there, LOL. But we made it with time to spare. I even made a new friend :D While we were waiting outside, we saw some of the boys, and I was so damn excited! I saw Josh too (totally slipped my mind it was his birthday), but he was with a lady friend, and I didn’t want to interrupt, haha.

Then finally it was time for VIP. My BFF didn’t really know what to expect, haha. She was happy when she got the T-shirt and poster, haha. And then, there they were. I got butterflies in my tummy and got all nervous for some reason, haha. It reminded me of my first time meeting them at Warped two years ago. On a sidenote, I adored their new hairstyles. It looked really good on them!

So yeah, finally, it was our turn. David said he liked my shirt. It was the one that came with the preorder for HIWYMI, haha. They signed my poster and we posed for a picture, as did my BFF with them. Then all four of us took a picture together :)

Don’t mind me looking horrible :P So yeah, we talked for a little. Over what, I honestly can’t remember. Although I do recall David telling Daniella (my BFF) that his sister’s name was Danielle. And Daniella also smelled good, as always, haha. I just remember being very happy to see them again, haha. So we made our way over to the barricade when I realized that I forgot to ask them to sign my HIWYMI CD booklet! Daniella saved my spot and I waited for them to finish with the last few people who had VIP.

So I asked them to sign it, and of course, they did. Then I asked Kyle if he remembered me from the Spring Break Your Heart Tour and he said he did. Haha, I don’t know if he actually did though, but then again, it’s hard to forget a girl in a Pikachu shirt yelling your name and running across the street, haha. Then they asked my name. I doubt they have ever heard a name like mine, haha. But they were very kind and I was on cloud nine.<3 

They gave me one last hug and I went back to the barricade as they left backstage. So we waited around for a few hours, trying to enjoy the show, which was hard since we weren’t really into the other bands. But Mod Sun was pretty cool, I admit. He had a “feel good” vibe to his music. And I See Stars was good too. We had seen them on the previous tour they did with BC.

Then, FINALLY! After hours of waiting, they finally came out! After the boys assembled everything and started playing Rebirth, the boys came out. I was so excited, and I didn’t know what to expect, considering they had just released HIWYMI. I was screaming my lungs out as they played. I was pretty loud, haha. I’m sure Daniella has embarrassing video of this to confirm :X

So yeah, then the highlight of the night came: Sweat It Out. Kyle came into the crowd and started his performance their. The best part was interacting with him. He actually heard my screams (I still remember the lyric: IT WON’T BE PRETTY WHEN THE LIGHTS CAME BACK BACK BACK), and he just turned and gave me the biggest smile as I held onto him. I felt a real connection as I looked into his beautiful eyes and we continued to scream the lyrics. Haha, that was seriously the best part of my night and why I have a soft spot for Kyle. Plus, we hold hands a lot when he crowd surfs :D

Then Josh’s birthday chug was pretty awesome too. Before I knew it, their set was over. It felt so short, even though it was almost an hour long. As they said good night to the crowd, Kyle came over to the barricade, thank everyone as we begged him for one more song. Haha, I still remember holding onto him, whining, “One more song, Kyle. Please, play ‘Diamonds!’” Haha, so they did. That song is so special to my best friend and I. We cried tears of joy. It had been two years since we heard it live at Warped. We sang along loudly and did the diamond symbol at the end. It was absolutely, the best <3

After the show, we bought Kevin shirts! Too damn cute! First we found Josh and we wished him a happy birthday and took a picture with him. I gave him a badass lanyard I made forever ago.  He really liked it and put it on his keys. We looked around for the boys, and we could only find Kyle. He was swarmed, and we really had to get back home ‘cause Daniella had to work tomorrow morning :( But I did yell bye to him and he gave me one of those genuine smiles and thanked me for coming out.

Why was it better than the other tours? Even though I adored those other tours as well, just being able to interact with them so much more was special to me. I had ridiculous amounts of fun with my best friend during this night. Everything was far better than I expected. It’s an indescribable feeling :)

Support BC October: Day 6

 What are your favorite Breathe Carolina lyrics and why? Do they hold any special meaning to you? Are they applicable to any situations you’ve gone through in your life? How so?

Some of my favorite lyrics are from “The Birds and The Bees.” And no, it’s not “I swear to God I won’t stop until you’re shakin’.” Haha, it’s towards the end, and I think it’s a pretty underrated verse.

Would you believe me if I told you that I want you, and everyday I felt this way? 

Would you take me to the place you know, the one that leaves me all alone? 

Wait right here, just for a minute. We’ll talk a little just about it. 

We’ll take it slow. I won’t let you go.

The lyrics, in my opinion, are about a heart-to-heart conversation after what was supposed to be a one night stand.

That hasn’t happened to me, haha, but still, I just really love this part. Always have, and probably always will. I don’t know what it is about this part, these lyrics. Maybe it’s the way it’s sung in a low range, especially live. Even when David redirects his attention to the crowd, Josh sings this softly in the background…

Post your favorite picture of yourself and any of the BC family! What tour was it on? Why is this your favorite picture?

I’ve decided this one with Kyle, from the Spring Break Your Heart Tour, is my favorite. So my BFF and I were looking for a parking spot. We were so stoked, because we had missed the previous two shows; it had been almost a year since we’d seen last them, and even then, we didn’t get a chance to interact.

Then as we were driving by the venue, Daniella spotted with her eagle eyes, Kyle and Kevin. I was like, “Oh, my God!” and we were both freaking out, haha. Then she told me to get out and she’d go park, but I felt bad. But then she practically forced me out of the car, hahaha.

So I yelled out his name and ran my ass over there (I recklessly ran across the street, LOL), where he patiently waited with a smile, haha. Haha, his hugs are awesome! We talked for a little bit while we waited for Daniella. My knees were shaky, haha, but I was just so happy. 

I told him that I was the girl who had written the essay about them and such, and he liked my camera too, haha. Then I tried to get a picture of Kevin, but we wouldn’t look my way. Only until Kyle put his Budlight can by my camera did he look up, haha.

The show was so much more better than I had anticipated, especially after a year. We got to really talk with the boys afterwards too, which was fantastic. They’re just so sweet. I didn’t take another picture with Kyle, but he did sign my poster. And I managed to get a cute one of him with Kevin without him knowing, haha. 

And that’s why it’s my favorite. :)

Support BC October: Day 8.

 What is your favorite song off of It’s Classy Not Classic and why?

Finally an easy one, haha.

Put Some Clothes On.

Why? The beat. The lyrics. The melody. Everything. It just always puts me in a good mood, makes me bob my head up and down while I drive and try in vain to scream like Kyle, haha. I’ve changed favorites a few times, but this one has stayed the same for the longest time, and I don’t think it’s gonna change.

I hope the boys will play it live sometime in the future. I’d cry, haha. That intro… gah, it’s so amazing :3

Support BC October: Day 9

If you could spend the whole day with Breathe Carolina, what would you want to do for the day?

Damn, I have never thought about this! Where to start, where to start?

First and foremost, I have to put out there that I cannot do this without my best friend, Daniella. I just can’t. It’s not possible. We always do BC stuff together, or not at all. It’s just how it is. 

Anyway, I guess every good day has to start off with a good breakfast! We’d probably go wreak havoc dine at Denny’s or something like that.

Afterwards, I’d take us over to the museum district and we’d go the Museum of Natural Science and take a look at all the cool shit (planetarium, butterfly center, special exhibits) they have there. Then they’d probably laugh at me for being way too into it, but I wouldn’t be able to help it. Science rocks :D

Once the heat dies down, we’d take a trip to the Houston zoo! Who doesn’t love the zoo?!  First we’d stop for lunch at the Macaw Cafe (inside the zoo) in preparation for the journey to go see all the animals! Maybe we’d even all pitch in and adopt one, haha. Too bad you can’t name them though :P

Many, many hours later, we’d go out for dinner. I remember reading back in ‘09, on Twitter, that the guys adored some place called Sparkle Burger, so maybe we’d go there. I’d be very interested to try it out! The reviews look good too, so we’ll see.

After that, we’d probably head on over to the Galleria. Maybe even try to ice skate! I’d probably never let go of the railing though, haha. And if I do, I’ll probably end up falling on my ass :P Assuming we had any money left, maybe we’d do some shopping, or at the very least, window shopping! :D

And yeah, I guess that’s what our day would be like. Maybe if I was 21, we’d go to a bar or something like that. But I’ve still go two years to go, and even then, I may not even make a habit of drinking.

This is what I’d definitely do with them though. Give them a taste of Houston! I guess it may be typical sightseeing stuff, but when you’re with the people you love and admire, it doesn’t really matter what you do. To do just one of the things I mentioned would be a real treat.

Maybe some day. You never know. After all, nothing is impossible.

Support BC October: Day 10

If you could go on tour with Breathe Carolina to help promote them on the road, what ideas/methods would you try to get more people to come out to a show and support the boys?

Let’s see…

I guess fer sure make flyers and promote them the old fashioned way. In addition, connect with other fans that live in the area and get them to help out by telling their friends, and classmates. Or if they don’t like their classmates, haha, then a good place where other kids with good music tastes hang out. 

Also, just going straight up to random people, at the mall, or a university or something and talking to them. 

Social media-wise, give out a free download of a song, like Blackout or another single, to give them a taste of Breathe Carolina. And if they like what they hear, then yay!

Edit: I just remembered, maybe the boys can do acoustic performances at Hot Topic. “Lauren’s Song,” fer sure. Maybe also, “Can I Take You Home?” & “Gone So Long.” Just to show everyone that they have genuine talent, not just a Macbook.
