“Forgiving isn’t something you do for someone else. It’s something you do for yourself. It’s saying, ‘You’re not important enough to have a stranglehold on me.’ It’s saying, ‘You don’t get to trap me in the past. I am worthy of a future.” - Jodi Picoult, The Storyteller
“She was broken but never hopeless; alone but never lonely. Her eyes reflected pain but projected courage. She was a beautiful paradox.”

Vanity and pride are different things, though the words are often used synonymously. A person may be proud without being vain. Pride relates more to our opinion of ourselves, vanity to what we would have others think of us.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (1813)
Little steps every day add up.
“I never wish to offend, but I am so foolishly shy, that I often seem negligent, when I am only kept back by my natural awkwardness.”
— Jane Austen
“Is it better to out – monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?”
— Freidrich Nietzsche

Hello! Here is my first update on my project pan 2019.
I have decided that I do want to make a slight adjustment to my project. That is to declutter products I really don't like. I have come to the conclusion that there were some products that I really don't like using and thus just want to say goodbye to.
I have also decided to roll in products that I actually do want to make progress on. Those are mainly lip glosses and perfumes. I don't have an insane amount but I do want to own less of those products. So I added MAC Clear Water, which is a mini, and also finished it this month. As for perfumes, I added an H&M Body Splash but also finished that quickly. So I rolled in The Body Shop White Musk L'eau.
My goal for perfumes and lip glosses is to have no more than 3 in my collection, preferably 2.
Lastly, I decluttered some shadows. I didn't like some of the cool-tones and I just couldn't make them work. I also dropped my palette and a couple of shadows broke and I couldn't repress them. Basically, it is highly time for an update!
