I assume you’re referring to the Indian Arts and Crafts act? Now I can see the issue with non-natives selling them as native products. That certainly does seem illegal. But according to section 309.9 of the act as long as they state that the product was not made with the labor of a native. So no, it is not illegal to make or sell native american products, it is only illegal to say that they are produced by native americans when they are not.

I’m so disappointed in the WTNV fandom right now.  In the past week alone, the crew has gone through a lot of bullshit with DashCon and now the fandom has probably made a guest writer probably never want to take part in this project ever again.

The cast and crew are obviously upset.  Sodomquake has apparently left the internet for what looks like for good.  And quite honestly, I’m disgusted. 

So, here’s a good idea to anyone who posts anything.

GET ALL THE FACTS BEFORE YOU POST SOMETHING

Seriously you guys.

When I first got on tumblr, everyone was all about anti-bullying, but that only goes so far.  And when someone does something slightly off that you disagree with, an army amasses to harass someone until they are forced offline.

For the love of pete, think.

We owe it to the creators to respect their writers.  Do you honestly think that Joseph and Jeffrey would let someone who fetishizes rape to write for the show?  I think they respect their show and their fans too much for that.

We owe it to each other to try and handle these situations with delicacy because it is a hot topic and it is triggering for other people.  If, after getting all the facts, someone is still in the wrong, there are ways to call them out without amassing the “sjw" to attack a person to the point of leaving the internet.
