I feel like the way Toby Fox uses voicing for his characters is borderline predatory (like an actual animal predator) It reminds me specifically of one of an ambush predator

He’s slowly been integrating more and more voicing throughout the chapters. (Queen laughs, Tenna’s spoken intro, Flowery’s constant use of lines) I feel like he’s just getting us used to the taking so that in the final chapter when someone (probs Gaster) is fully voiced the player is not as scared as they should be.

I have this insane idea about Eden (the biblical location) having been the backrooms. After Adam and Eve were banished to the actual Earth, Eden began to forget itself. That also explains why we can’t find it anymore.

I like to imagine that the outdoor liminal spaces are the limits of what it can remember. Or maybe the yellow wallpaper pattern is all it can remember of the river reeds.

I have no clue how to execute said idea but I felt the need to share it.
