everyone if you want to be moots on twitter my twitter is myquadg0d same as this one ā¤ļø
Hi twinski! I wanted to try and lighten the mood after what happened with ilia. so I was wondering what got u into figure skating? š½ love u twin. also ur lowk my first moot so ur my bestie now
OMG YOURE SO SWEETTTTT. thank you for thinking of me and other fans in this time ā¤ļø i hope youāre doing well š„ŗ
for me, iāve been watching figure skating since i was rlly little when tessa and scott got popular. i watched them in all the olympics and was obsessed!! ive watched moulin rouge in person and even have their autographs š„¹ they were what made me watch ice dancing, and then from there, i watched singles womens figure skating mostly. i didnāt rlly start watching menās until 2022 with yuzu. i always knew abt him but didnt start rooting for him until beijing. then after his attempt at 4A in beijing someone showed me this āquad godā kid on instagram and said heās probably gonna be the first to do it and i was like who tf is this kid tf?? š but eventually i started paying more and more attention to him and then i loved him and now here we areš¤©
and yes we are besties nowšš¤©š„³ i love that i could be your first mutual ā¤ļø
donovan showing support for ilia ā¤ļø
hey so if you were praying for a 21 year old to crack under the pressure of the biggest event of his life which only happens every four years and are now happy that he did. you're not a bad bitch, you're just a bad person
and if youāre happy abt what happened and making fun of his mental state, you need to be lobotomized

guys iām actually so devastated after what happened today, but i wanna say a few words.
i will never ever ever stop supporting ilia, i love him so much, individual medal or not. the things he has done can never be taken back or repeated. i know that was a tough watch (seeing him cry made me want to d!e) but also seeing his grace and poise afterwards made me realize i rlly am supporting the right person.
that being said, pls pls pls remember these skaters are HUMAN!!! they are human beings and should not be considered invincible in the face of pressure. ilia is always so candid abt what he goes through and how it affects him, and thatās what i love so much abt him. NBC needs to stop branding their athletes as unstoppable non-human forces, weāve seen this happen with so many athletes. and the hate train against ilia was unlike anything iāve ever seen. tweets with 60k likes and millions of views, and we know heās online. i hope ilia is able to reflect and pick himself up, and i hope he has a rlly good support system around him for a while.
congratulation Mikhail, you skated beautifully and you deserve this moment truly š š„
WE LOVE YOU QUAD GOD! excited to see what worlds and the future holds!
My thoughts exactly. I hope he continues to shine and remember that he is always and forever the Quad God <3
i'm only asking because i genuinely have no clue as this is the first olympics i've watched and i've fallen in love with figure skating but i've seen people mention that ilia malinin has made homophobic and racist comments in the past. if you know, i was just wondering if you could let me know if that's true and if it is, has he apologized for those comments? i keep seeing people say a lot about him and i genuinely don't know what's true because, as i said, this is my first time actually getting into figure skating.
okayyyy iām gonna answer this now! so i was actually around when all of that went down. so basically when he was a kid like 17ish he did say a joke in a live that was in poor taste abt gay ppl, he basically said he should pretend to be lgbtq to get higher scores. but he did apologize and he had sensitivity training (like woke pr trainingš) since then. i donāt think he was ever racist. the only other stuff i know is him having ovechkinās (hockey player) laces on his skates at practice, and ovi has hinted at supporting what russia is doing to ukraine, so ppl are mad that ilia accepted his laces, but the way i see it is ilia wants to connect with other russian athletes because of his russian heritage, i dont think itās necessarily a political thing, and this is coming from someone with ukrainian heritage. plus ovi is like one of the greatest hockey players ever unfortunately lol. a lot of things ppl say abt ilia are blown way out of proportion and made to seem like heās the worst person ever. do i think heās extremely woke? probably not, but like neither are any hockey players, and i still watch hockey. i think itās valid for ppl to not like ilia for sure, but to spread so much hate abt his appearance, make fun of his skating and straight up make lies abt him, and make fun of his mental health feels like they just get a high off of hating someone at the top. and then they hide it under the justification āoh he said this when he was 17.ā like idk, when i donāt like an athlete i just ignore them š
if you dm me, i am happy to explain more in depth, but i donāt want to spread too much negativity on here especially after what happened today! hope this helped!
twin did you hear the news⦠Iām so devastated. I rlly hope that ilia knows that heās amazing no matter what.
i love him so so so so much, i watched it and grew more devastated at each moment. but weāve seen him do that program flawlessly before. heāll bounce back, he just need time to reflect i feel. hope heās okay

do yall think ilia will do 4A tomorrow? š¤
I WANTEDDDDDD PIPER AND PAUL TO WIN BUT I KNOW THEY COULDN'T SO THEN I WAS FINEEEE WITH CHOCK AND BATES WINNING BUT I STILLLLLLL COULDN'T GET THAT! Ice dancing isn't even real man what is life why do we pretend twizzles matter so much if they don't get scored accordingly fml
it's really funny to me how many people are saying ilia malinin gives them frat boy vibes. that's not my read on him at all, he has only ever given me Weird Kid energy. his programs this season are how to train your dragon cosplay and his own bad spoken word poetry with all the depth of a philosophy 101 class discussion board. he's an awkward figure skating nerd, not a douchey frat boy type
torgashev on the other hand IS the douchey frat boy type, please direct your disdain appropriately to the guy who's an elon musk dickrider and had a vaguely homophobic xitter meltdown about one of his teammates scoring higher than him

the thing that really Gets Me about ilia is that his packaging is always just a fucking mad libs. iām going to skate to *picks out of a hat* instrumental cello music with *spins wheel* dark academia inspirational voiceover and wear *puts together magazine clippings* an evil prince outfit with bell sleeves and sheer corset details. and then he commits to it 1000%. Like What.
i need ilia to stick his tongue out more and be more annoying just to piss ppl off
