just saw project hail mary and it would be so funny in an alternate universe if grace never actually showed rocky on video but still talked to him and about him so when he sent the footage back to earth it just looked like he was losing his fucking mind. just a guy sculpting little versions of himself while saying a rock alien was helping him figure out how to save earth. they would hear the computer translating rocky and just be like "...did he program a computer to talk to him and become convinced it was a rock alien." i mean they would have still received everything they needed from him but i imagine it would have complicated those feelings a little.

just finished middlemarch and how on EARTH is will ladislaw not a tumblr icon? that man is the biggest, most obsessed loverboy that has ever loverboyed. he goes and lies on the floor of his rich vain besties house while he vents about life. people judge him for lying on the floor but he does it anyways. he studies art in rome. he makes vague cries of protest when the woman he loves kind of ices him out, then never addresses them. he's ideal. if tumblr discovered him will/dorothea would be the number one ship in two weeks.
