Jesus asked to have his cup of suffering removed. It wasnāt removed. The world, as such, was saved through unanswered prayer.

It's the 'big day' tomorrow and I'm far from ready. I'm regretting I didn't choose to make this decision earlier if I had things would be different? Still God has his plans and His time for things, I will trust in that. I always wonder why he didn't bring me to that teacher earlier, but I may never know the answer. That's not the point. I'm gonna go head on tomorrow towards the O's, of my worst feared subject, whatever it is Christ goes with me into the exam. I know that God will help me, and will not leave me alone!!!ššš whatever happens, God, help me to trust you. Amen.

10 Things God Canāt Do 10 characteristics of God to encourage and strengthen you.
God canāt get tired. Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. āIsaiah 40:28
God canāt take on a job he canāt handle. Ah, Lord God! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you. āJeremiah 32:17
God canāt be unholy. And one cried to another and said: āHoly, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!ā āIsaiah 6:3
God canāt be prejudiced. In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears him and works righteousness is accepted by him. āActs 10:34-35
God canāt break a promise. My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of my lips. āPsalm 89:34
God canāt remember sins heās chosen to forget. I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins. āIsaiah 43:25
God canāt make a loser. Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ. ā2 Corinthians 2:14
God canāt abandon you. Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, he is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. āDeuteronomy 31:6
God canāt stop thinking about you. How precious also are your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with you. āPsalm 139:17-18
God canāt stop loving you. Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. āJeremiah 31:3
Blessed to be....a Blessing?
Today I finally sorta got what āBlessed to be a Blessingā means⦠a glimpse of it at least.
I realised how everyone around me is suffering, just like I am. In the teemage years, every youth struggles to find their place, their identity, who they are and who they should beā¦and just like any other youth, I am too. With youthhood comes its many troubles - family problems, relationship problems, friendship problems, academic problems, and as if thatās not enough, life throws its biggest problem at you - yourself. Everytime when I feel overwhelmed by all this, I come back to this conclusion: I need God to get through all this.
Life seems really miserable, but without God in it 'miserable''s not even a word to describe it. Iāve been a bad child most of the time, and an uncommitted disciple, but His mercy still follows me and His love does not give up on me. I still see His provision and presence in my daily life and things around me. I realise how blessed I am to know God. Not just anyone can know God though - I believe that God specifically picks people at different time to get to know Him slowly,in different ways. And I so glad I got picked at an earlier age. If I didnāt have God I donāt even want to imagine where I would be in my life right now. Life with God isnāt perfect but itās a whole lot easier to take. So I wonderā¦why me?
I mean, my friends also struggle with the same type of problems that I do, theyāre leading tiring lives too. Why did God pick me then? Why bless me?
And it hit me⦠is it do I could in turn bless others? Not like God does not have the capacity to bless EVERYONE, but like I said He waits for a perfect time to bless everybody, but when we are used by Him to bless others, it surprisingly brings us joy too! Thatās what itās about: being blessed, so that we can bless others. We are more āfortunateā so we can share this āfortuneā with others. We arenāt blessed to just be thankful and look at others and be even more thankful, but to pass on what we have received to others, and make others joyful through so. :)

If youāre ever having a bad day, read your bible.
If youāre feeling empty because you feel like something is missing, read your bible.
If you ever needs words of wisdom or comfort, read your bible.
If life is going great, read your bible.
Trust me, it works.
God has a reason
Sometimes, things happen that make us wonder, why? Sometimes God asks us to do things and we just wonder, "what on earth is God doing?" Honestly, we all have right? And we wonder if He is still actively concerned in our lives. But the fact is, we only see till the next turn. We can't see what's after that turn. Two paths may seem similar so we may think, "surely it can't be that bad if I choose the other path instead of what God asked me to right?" But God sees the end of everything. He sees the outcome of every decision we make and the end of every path. What we see is nothing compared to what He does. I was walking down the canal just now on the way back home, and there were 2 paths: I knew I had to cross the bridge eventually, just a matter of crossing it first before walking the long road home or walking the load road first, then cross the bridge. It was pretty dark already, and both paths seemed equally lit to me. I felt like crossing first but I got a prompting to cross after. I didn't know why, but thank God I chose to follow His prompting. I kept walking and walking, wondering what could've been bad bout taking the other road. But as I walked on, I reached a part (behind a few turns) where the lighting was dimmer and poorer and slightly more creepy and I got really thankful that I followed God's prompting. And walked the brightly lit path home. Looking back, doesn't this happen a lot? We don't know what's the difference between two seemingly similar paths, and sometimes picking the other road can be tempting and attractive. But the fact is we don't see the end of the road. The road that seems harmless but not what God is prompting us, who knows, at the end may lie cliffs, life-threatening creatures, traps, etc. That's why we should always look to God for decisions. Ask Him what He wants, what is best for us, what He has planned, and to give you the courage and faith to follow His decision. He knows what's best for us, even when it may not seem like it. Whatever it is, He always does things for our good. Romans 8:28 NLT And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. God intends everything for our good; next time when you need to make a choice, seek God's advice and help. And if God seems to make us do something, trust that it's for nothing less than the best for us, and for His glory (which ultimately brings us joy as well!)

If life is a river, then pursuing Christ requires swimming upstream. When we stop swimming, or actively following Him, we automatically begin to be swept downstream.

Faith is not primarily a function of how you feel. Faith is living out and believing what truth is despite what you feel.

The vine clings to the oak during the fiercest of storms. Although the violence of nature may uproot the oak, twining tendrils still cling to it. If the vine is on the side of the tree opposite the wind, the great oak is its protection: if it is on the exposed side, the tempest only presses it closer to the trunk.
In some of the storms of life, God intervenes and shelters us; while in others He allows us to be exposed, so that we will be pressed more closely to Him. - B. M. Launderville
