what do people in their twentys do except go to the grocery store……….
sometimes we lie in bed paralyzed by the knowledge that life is neither meaningful nor enjoyable
and then we go get snacks
not to be like……. uhhhhh controversial but im just like you even though my problems look nothing like yours do and yeah i get sad too and when im down i need somebody to talk to
when the crackhead outside 711 call u beautiful
this is the most relatable thing on this site
Still wish for tomorrow, even when today breaks you
“Dealing with depression is like trying to argue with someone who keeps talking over you”
—
Words are knives
With each word we tore deeper into each other. The more we spoke the more we bled. Our words were splintered into each other and serrated our own hearts. We knew what we were saying and we just wanted to see who was truly right. We tore ourselves to shreds. And I can’t see how I’ll ever be able to put myself back together and feel the same.
I’m all for a healthy dose of criticism, but people need to stop assuming they know the motivations behind other people’s actions. Call people out on what they did, not why they did it. If you can’t criticise someone’s actions without attacking their motivation, then it’s clear that there might be good reasons that justify those actions.
“Never downplay what they say or think, even if you need to express your own point of view. … We ought to be able to acknowledge the other person’s truth, the value of his or her deepest concerns, and what it is that they are trying to communicate, however aggressively.”
— Pope Francis
