all the older boybands & their members (mcfly, busted, nsync, backstreet boys, take that & robbie) posting tributes is also really doing me in. like there is no precedent for this, so many of these bands had a member or two who struggled hard with addiction but they are still here and the shock in their statements is palpable. this was just never supposed to happen, these boys were supposed to get to grow old together

#being away from fandom has taught me so many things #i see louis and harry without the rose colored glasses now #but i fundamentally think they’re both good people and good artists and that won’t change #despite of what i think about the way they go through life and my opinion about some of their songs #the kind of thoughts and feelings that only come with age and distance i guess #i also feel ashamed of some of my past behaviors when it comes to discussing people associated with louis and harry #we all make our choices in the limited amount of time we have on this earth #it’s time to choose to be kinder to one another

louis’ is celebrating their bond, their friendship, the love they held for one another that got them through so many tough times. it’s saying they will never get to stand on a stage together again but let’s celebrate the good times, let’s remember the love.

zayn’s is highlighting that they were just kids at the start, they were boys thrown together into an insane, unimaginable situation and they needed each other. they found solace and comfort in each other and no one else can understand what they went through growing up together but they clung on to each other.

and harry’s… god. harry’s is just liam. liam on stage looking out on thousands of fans doing his favourite thing in the world. and that’s how harry wanted to honour him, making other people happy.
