I was doing research for my book, and I wanted to be all deep and symbolic, so I was going to use Grimms' Fairy Tales Classics to play some relevance and then I remember how I remember that the stigma around it was that it was too dark for children, so I read through some, and they were quite interesting. There was a version of the Princess and the Frog or Frog Prince I'm not sure where the princess threw the frog across the floor and he turned back into a prince. It might have been another writer's perspective, but I felt the need to share.

Another version of Briar Rose was something. It was just something.

Which also lead me to Bluebeard.

And I can honestly, I would not be worse off as a child by reading these stories, and that says a lot.

But that's not even the most ironic part. I got immersed in reading the stories then I found a few Italian fairy tale classics and then that led me to Reggie and Ronnie Kray. And also to the fact there was an Italian-Canadian crime family.

the amount of anxiety it took to create this account and this post should not exist. You'd think it's a life or death situation. Or that everyone knows that it's me behind the username. That shouldn't be possible. You should feel safe behind a pseudonym and yet I don't.

That's just plain ridiculous.

I feel better after hitting sent. It feels like thrilling and frightening at the same time. It feels strangely liberating.

I've tried to do this before but right when I would try to post or publish a story I would backtrack, thinking I had failed because there's no way anyone would want to hear what I have to say.

I think if I can get through the anxiety of posting here...I think might finally be able to let go of the guilt I feel for being imperfect. For being myself.

Okay this is kinda funny because the way I'm ranting. You'd think I'm going to rant everyday but then I'd do this today and then I won't be seen for like 10 years. I'd post again then it would be another five years and then after that, I might never show up on this again. If nothing else, you can depend on my chaos. I might post again tomorrow. I might not.

You never know. My brain works weird. It's like always racing. I can literally go from talking about how foods are relevant to the history of a people or country to human's obsession with its identity is rooted in it's need for a purpose because free will sounds too good to be true.
