id like to address the weird presence of very violent anime scenes on utube back then (；⌣̀_⌣́)
i think we all remember the time when we could watch animes on utube, before the said app became a b!tch (눈_눈) well i do too ! i was very young, and i remember hopping on the family computer as soon as my mom got to work!! you could see animes like the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya, kanon, school days, toradora! or silent voice 4 free !
but it was not all, you could always see (and still can) short video snippets of a certain anime, or to be continued compilation of sometimes funny scenes but LOOOTS of times it was more violent scenes ! like from school days, mirai nikki, vivid strike, higurashi or madoka magica. they are not shocking when you're grown, but when ur a little kid it's traumatizing okay? (｡╯︵╰｡)
i personally vividly remember this era, i clicked because the thumbnail/title was making me curious and i would stumble upon this kind of things! and i think what made them scarier to me, is that i didn't expect it ! i mean, i used to read hell girl, watch thousands of videos abt yandere simulator or watch creepypasta videos, so it's not like i was a very "easy to scare" kid ｡･ﾟ･(ﾉД`)ヽ(￣ω￣ )
lots of them were deleted/much less pushed by the algorythm, so i don't think kids these days would stumble upon them
