The Demise of The Savoys
So, I was thinking about a certain, very specific topic those past few days. Tracy says there will be a short epilogue at the end of the comic, taking place in the early 30s (if i'm not mistaken). What do you guys think that happened to the Savoy siblings?
Killed by their dangerous lifestyle and work area.
Moved to another city in search of thrill and more work (not working for Asa anymore for some reason).
Still working as hired guns for Asa Sweet.
I personally believe one of them (specifically Serafine) will die somewhere in the comic, likely in the middle of Volume Three. But what do you think? Feel free to comment below ;).

Sedgewick could be a widow (A Lackadaisy Wick analysis post)
I've been on the fandom for two years. A few months ago, this concept began to get bigger in my head.
Wick is one of my favorite characters, charming and charismatic, it's certain. But after reading the comic, i'm starting to think that Wick COULD be a widow. Besides his sister, Susannah, he has no other mentioned relatives or previous partner, which is a bit odd. Most men of his time got married and had families, but Wick didn't..or did he? I honestly like to think that Wick has had a wife, but she passed away due to some disease common to the period (Tuberculosis and other infections were leading a very high death rate, but if you want to stray a bit, post-childbirth complications, again infections, killed a lot of young women). It would explain why he's implied to have brief relationships with pretty women sometimes (including Mitzi) yet stays firm with none (When he clearly has the charm for pulling a girl, even if he's a little silly about rocks and fossils sometimes).
It would explain why he's implied to have brief relationships with pretty women sometimes (including Mitzi) yet stays firm with none. This possibility would also give some decent tragedy. Both Mitzi and Wick being widows, they love each other and are attracted to the other's "benefits" (Mitzi wants his money, Wick..loves her), but their own issues and the conflict of a formed relationship stop them from forming something proper together.
A small point that i'd like to add too is that perhaps the death of his wife could have worsened his alcoholism and work addiction, which was already a thing back for him back them (According to Tracy, if i'm not mistaken, he's an alcoholic since youth). Anyways, this was my analysis, have a good day and see you around later! :D :)
Serafine but I edited her to be a calico cat.
Not gonna lie, she looks fine like that.

🏵️Serafine's Death Theory🏵️
Good morning fellow Lackadaisy fans! I personally made this theory through a few months and i'm finally ready to share it! So, let's get going!
This theory starts with this ask on Tracy's official Tumblr.
As you can see, Tracy's response implies Serafine will be harmed in some sort of way by Mordecai, considering she did a scarification on his chest against his will on Lackadaisy Keepsake.
Now jumping to Lackadaisy Epithet, Serafine and Nico break in inside the warehouse, searching for Mordecai and Gracie. Tension is in the air, what will happen next?
With Lackadaisy Preview 0032, it's pretty much implied Serafine shoots Gracie, considering these two smaller sketches.
After that, I believe Gracie will probaly bleed out on the floor, and the Savoys will confront Mordecai, cornering him.
Because of that, a physical fight will break loose, and to defend himself, Mordecai will shoot Serafine. She will either die on the spot or end up gravely wounded.
Judging by the Savoy's behavior, we can assume they decided to not trust Mordecai. They knew he was doing his "schemes" separately from work, but taking away a person that needs to be killed to interrogate them and hiding them was the confirmation he cannot be trusted.
I have also noted that in Lackadaisy Distemper, Mordecai seems to be paying attention to Serafine's words on this panel, as if he's taking notes, so perhaps the revenge will be later on the comic, maybe mid Volume Three or Volume Four.
I believe Serafine's death would have a great impact on Mordecai's arc, enraging Nico and exposing more of how far he shall go to uncover Atlas's death. Would there be a limit to his search? But well, that's for another post.
Feel free to discuss the theory on the comments! Have a good day! :D
To think that this is probaly the Marigolds on their way to the graveyard is funny.
In minute 1:17 of the pilot, we can easily see a car that looks identical to the Marigold's passing by the road. If not intentional, it probaly is them. I'm surprised no one talked about this yet.
♣ Lackadaisy Flood Theory ♣
Good evening folks! You know there's a theory around the subreddit which Rocky will drown in the comic, so let's give it a summary!
So, as we know, there was a flood on the Mississippi river in 1927, being the worst river flood of the United States, with damage of 1 billion dollars and approximately 500 deaths, along with over 700,000 people being left homeless with the incident. Fans are theorizing this flood will occur in the comic, on which either Rocky or another character will drown to their death. Some factors to support this possible tragic fate of Rocky are: 1. In Lackadaisy: Lacriminosa, we can see the part where Rocky appears depicts him as a drowned corpse. An important detail is that his head wound is still open, so the flood will happen soon. 2. On the old dead drop, when you entered the name of an incorrect character, it could return the phrase “Sounds of rushing water”, which may be connected to the flood, although I am not sure. If you have anything to say about the theory, feel free to comment. Though an important detail we need to remember is that the flood does not actually reached St.Louis, but I don't see why Tracy couldn't alter that in the story or make Rocky go closer to the flood. By the way, props to PizzaKing_1 on Reddit for the rushing river sound information.
