Daphne didn’t mean to worry the guy. The girl drew in a deep breath and sighed,”I’m sure she’ll be fine.” She scratched her head softly and smiled slightly,”I mean, I’m sure anyone would go frantic if someone they weren’t related to touched their stuff. A pig? Your sister has a pig?”
“We can change the subject, if it’s upsetting to you?” She suggested with a soft smile.
“Yeah, it’s a long story. His name is Waddles. Sadly, she can’t keep him here so he lives at our Great Uncle Stan’s place,” Dipper was really glad that his sister had her pet pig because even when she was upset with him, she almost never got upset with Waddles. Well, there was that one time he chewed on one of her favorite sweaters until there was a hole but it wasn’t too much of a hiccup to Mabel. He sort of admired that nothing got to him.
“Nah, it’s fine. I mean, we can keep talking about the fact that my sister has a pig? Or, uh..” The teenager tried to think of a new topic. What was with pretty red heads and talking to them and it being really difficult? “Pets in general! Do you have any pets?” Clearly the master of conversation.
