Killer sans he acts detached and playful on the surface, but underneath is emotionally unstable, obsessive, and deeply dependent on external purpose.
Chaotic and theatrical He likes provoking reactions, joking during serious moments, smiling when things are uncomfortable, and turning violence into a performance. He often acts like he’s “having fun” even when he’s mentally spiraling
He is emotionally numb… but not truly empty the idea that he wants to stop feeling pain him having muted emotions or forcing himself not to care. But cracks show constantly anger, jealousy, fear of abandonment, guilt, attachment
Dependent on validation or purpose often latches onto someone or something to give him direction. Without that, he can become lost, unstable, or self destructive. That’s why he intensely loyal once attached
Self destructive He tends to ignore his own wellbeing, emotionally and physically. him treating himself like a weapon rather than a person.
He jokes to avoid sincerity. The more serious the emotion, the more likely he is to deflect with sarcasm or exaggerated behavior.
Dissociates when things get too intense
He often feels like someone trying to convince himself he no longer cares while every action proves he actually cares too much.

Good ending killer sans ( Red )
The “good ending” for Killer Sans is less about becoming a perfect hero and more about finally reclaiming his free will and emotions.
In the original "Something New" , Killer was trapped in endless genocide timelines. After remembering every reset and all the suffering that came with them, he fell under the Player’s influence and became obsessed with feeling "something new” over time, he slowly lost his sense of self and forced himself into emotional numbness.
Eventually, he was taken in by Nightmare Sans and became one of his weapons. But instead of remaining trapped under Nightmare’s control, Killer met Color Sans. Color recognized that Killer was suppressing his real emotions and living like a puppet, and helped him break free from it all.
For the first time in a long time, Killer finally chose his own future.

Bad ending killer sans
After endless genocide timelines, Killer Sans becomes mentally shattered from remembering every reset, every death, and every hopeless loop. Eventually, the Player offers him a deal instead of suffering endlessly for nothing, he can join them and finally “feel something new.” Desperate to escape the emptiness, he accepts.
Even after separating himself from Chara, Killer still cannot escape what he has become. The damage left behind continues to consume him.
Before he can erase himself or reset everything, Nightmare Sans appears. Sensing the overwhelming negativity, despair, and instability within him, Nightmare recruits Killer into the Bad Sanses.
Nightmare then manipulates Killer’s fractured soul, keeping him emotionally dependent and using him as a weapon. Instead of finding peace or healing, Killer becomes trapped in yet another endless cycle.

Is there an official human design for Killer!Sans?
Sigh. Lately I’ve been thinking about Takiishi and Endo and their language barrier. :[
Since the beginning of the manga we’ve been taught that fighting is a language in and of itself.
Fists convey thoughts in ways that words cannot. That’s something that was taught at the very beginning in the Shishitoren arc and ended up becoming incredibly important when we got to the Noroshi arc! We particularly see this shown in our greatest antagonist yet: Takiishi Chika!
He makes it apparent from the very beginning that he doesn’t like talking. Though we don’t get to see him interacting with anyone other than Endo in early childhood we get a glimpse of it through Endo. Ignoring others, seeing them as faceless nobodies.
Then if that doesn’t seem to work then he’ll give them a warning in the only language he truly knows how to speak.
Then. If even that doesn’t work then you kinda have to improvise. Try to mix the languages. He speaks out loud for the first time. He bridges the language barrier. Sure, with the aid of his also using his own way of communicating, but the effort is still there. And we can see that he’s taken aback when Endo blocks the hit. He fights back, he tells him ‘no’ in Takiishi’s own language. So he attempts at communicating again but Endo,, hasn’t quite connected the dots yet.
Takiishi doesn’t like using words. It’s uncomfortable for him. They ‘have no meaning’, as he puts it. When he absolutely must communicate he’s straight and to the point, ending it as quickly as he can.
But even he’s having the time of his life and he’s choosing to speak it’s almost like,,, I don’t know like a doll just out of sync to me. His timing and choice of sentence structure is juuuust off.
Takiishi Chika’s way of communicating is through fighting. That’s why he loves it so very much, it’s the only time he can truly get his feelings and thoughts across the way he wants to. It’s why he’s so drawn to Umemiya, the only other person who understands that fighting is just another form of communication. A far more honest way of communicating too.
This post is also a really good exploration of their communication barrier. I ended up taking a lot of inspiration from August’s reading of the characters so I really recommend you go check him out. :]

I like to think that once Killer finds themself in a healthier environment, they go from an “I don’t care whether I die today or not” mentality to doing a complete 180 and thinking, “I need to live,” just to have one more day with the people who have shown them affection and forgiveness despite everything.
But I also can’t help giving them a slightly unhealthy perspective on it seeing the desire for more as selfish or greedy. For wanting MORE, one more day with them, despite how “unworthy” they might feel at times.
I honestly have no clue how “in character” I make them. I mostly just go with the vibes they give off laksndfa I’m not exactly a lore truther… my bad xd
I also find it kind of funny how unintentionally I ended up depicting Killer in, like, four different stages asdas
As classic Sans, before everything.
How that version of him “died” after so many genocides, and Killer was born alongside all the shenanigans that came with it. Killer being ready to finally die by his own hands after Chara, finding comfort in how silent everything felt,
Then later hoping to FINALLY die under Nightmare’s eye, after maybe a rather harsh battle or idk being left there to die by Nightmare themselves (as a punishment or smth).
And finally, finding themself in a peaceful environment. No resets, no more masking, no more numbness, just peace, alongside the people who showed them even the smallest bit of it.
