Re-reading Green Creek series and thought that now it's more popular than when I first read it, I should check what the characters fanarts are like,

Listen, I love fanartists, mad respect to anyone who loves something so much they’re inspired to create. I wouldn’t presume to tell you guys what to do, but.. if I'm allowed one tiny comment..

Why is it so hard to find arts that depict Ox as the big, burly, intimidating man he is?? With a frown and grease under his fingernails and body that isn't Attractive Muscular™️???

Most I see of him is Manhwa/Anime style pretty boy with dark skin and tonned muscles, and that's not.. that's not what he is. He's rugged and a little too big and too swearty. Hell, they're all very sweaty in this book.

He's attractive but not in the stereotype way that the media taught us attractive fictional men should be. You don't have to make him pretty. You can make him the tank country boy he is. We'd love him even more.
