Starting today (9/13/18), this blog will be, and most likely remain, inactive. Due to personal issues and personal schedules, we cannot write for this blog anymore. I apologize to the people who have sent in asks that will not be answered. If you sent an ask in that didn’t get written and really would like to see your request answered, you can send me an ask over on my primary writing blog, @ellygoesnyooom, and I will write it for you. I will not be deleting the blog, so you can come back and read the previous writings/chats/etc. Thank you to those of you who have followed us and supported us this past year, I, mod Alyun, and the other original mods all appreciate each and every one of you.

Questioning!Vanderwood+Nonbinary!MC

Because your local she/they needs some attention -Mod Alyun

Now, Mary Vanderwood III was not judgemental. In fact, he wasn’t even sure if he was a he. Vanderwood had never quite felt comfortable in his own skin, but had always chalked it up to his upbringing messing with his head. But MC... they’d recently explained their pronouns and gender, or rather, lack thereof. And a light went on in his head.

Their head.

Vanderwood even agreed to attend Seoul Pride with MC, and had the time of his life. Their life. They, their, theirs. It just... worked. Vanderwood talked about it with MC, which was odd, because Vanderwood was not a fan of heart-to-hearts, but he (they?) needed it.

“MC?” Vanderwood knocked on MC’s door, only to see them typing away on their laptop. Probably that gender blog they ran. Vanderwood couldn’t lie, he’d (they’d.) been on it more than a few times. MC swiveled around in the chair to face their boyfriend (partner? enbyfriend? ...person?).

“Vanderwood? Are you okay?” They questioned, knowing that look on Vanderwood’s face. It meant he was nervous. To be quite honest, he looked a bit constipated. Vanderwood couldn’t control his, their, words anymore. They came spilling out, and he, they, couldn’t stop it. Their feeling of discomfort all their life, the wish to be both masculine and feminine, their experience at Pride. Hell, even MC’s blog having too much of an effect on them. Vanderwood’s face felt hot. They were probably blushing, they realized, but even their eyes felt hot. Were they...?

MC came rushing to Vanderwood’s side, taking their face in their hands. “Vandy, don’t be an idiot,” MC said warmly, smiling gently. That smile, it always made Vanderwood melt. Not that they would ever admit it. “It’s no big deal. I can call you anything you want. As long as you’re happy, that’s all I want. Take your time. I love you, not your pronouns. Stupid.”

Vanderwood felt themself smile. They felt more comfortable than they had since they were a kid, running around the suburbs of London with their friends. They looped their arms around MC, and they stayed there for a long while, appreciating each other, and their own pride in their identities.

Can I request a head canon of the reactions of the RFA, V and Saeran when they find out that the only reason MC won’t be with them is because MC is chronically ill and doesn’t want to hinder them?

The fact that you were sick made him want to be there for you all the more, and like Yoosung,

When you told her that you were ill and didn’t want to hold her back, she got upset

She didn’t want you to suffer through it all alone, and wanted to help you

“Ill or not, I want to be with you, MC. You won’t drag me down, and even if you do, I couldn’t care less.”

And she really couldn’t. She fell in love with you, illness and all.

She won’t force you to do anything, but insists that she help you in some way, so you don’t have to go through it alone

He wants to at least help you get better or help make your quality of life better

“Even if you won’t accept me as your partner, I’ll help you through this.”

He doesn’t pressure you to date him, but he is sure to pay for your medical bills, medication, and everything that is necessary to help you feel better

If you accept him as your boyfriend, he would be happy, but his top priority is your health and happiness

Like everyone else, he doesn’t care about your illness

He finds it one of your charms, one of the many things that makes you his MC

Even if you dragged him down, he wouldn’t care; you make him happy, and he wants to do the same for you

He won’t beg or plead with you to accept him, but will help from the sidelines, trying his best to make things easier for you

V/Jihyun

He is upset when you tell him that’s why you won’t accept him

“You’re afraid to hinder me? Oh MC, you could never!”

He wants to help as much as possible, and wants to make anything he can easier for you

Not one to beg, either, he doesn’t force or pressure you; he just offers his support and hopes that one day, maybe you would accept him

Saeran

He knows how hard it is to shoulder burdens alone. Yours is a chronic illness, but it is a burden nonetheless

He doesn’t want to see you stuck shouldering the burden alone, but he also doesn’t want to force you to be with him just because he wants to be with you

So, he supports you as much as he can from the sidelines, doing whatever you need to help make things easier

He is satisfied with being just friends if you are, as well

Mod Alyun here. Sorry for my sudden inactivity. I’m going to need just a couple more weeks before I can post regularly. It’s officially the end of the school year, which means auditions, finals, and extra work. I’ve also had a family emergency, and I’m spending time over the weekends at the hospital with my family. So this is an apology to the other Mods, and all of you lovely readers. We wouldn’t be anywhere without you.

Hello! I have a request, i don't know if you have done it but can i request for jumin and mc getting into an accident but mc was injured the most and almost lost her life. Can you make this angsty please

The car hit them so fast, Jumin could barely react.

Driver Kim hadn’t done it, of course. No, he was out with his son that day. One of his rare days off, one that MC had insisted on for his frequent service of her, since she’d gotten pregnant. It had been a different driver that hadn’t seen the car barreling towards them.

Jumin wanted to name his child after his father; Haneul II. He had always been fairly traditional. MC wanted a more unique name. Something like Kyubok. He liked the name well enough, but they needed to decide. She was already eight months in.

When the cars collided, Jumin reached out to MC to defend her from the impact. Yet when her head cracked against the window, and Jumin felt his unused arm explode in pain, his stomach turned. Blood was all over the leather seats of the company car. Have you ever smelt bloody leather? It’s not pleasant. Jumin’s head swam, even as first responders flooded the scene. Even as they cut his car door open. Even as his wife and unborn child, so close to life, were lifted from a hole cut in the roof to avoid hurting MC’s head. No, he didn’t process anything until hours later, when a doctor asked him to sign his son’s birth certificate.

“I’m sorry, what? My wife isn’t due for another month,” Jumin shook his head, “There must be some mistake.”

The doctor handed him a pen in his non-broken hand. “Sir, your wife had an induced labor. We could only save your son by bringing him into the world early. We need a name, and your signature.”

Jumin’s body was mostly numb, but he could do one thing, at least. He could write his son’s name, so clear in his head it was as if he had known the name for months. Maybe he had. Kyubok Tae Han. His son.

It was another two days until Jumin was allowed to see MC. He had been a wreck, with Kyubok in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and MC in the Trauma Unit. His father had been with him most of the time, but when he couldn’t be, the other RFA members were. Zen left the most gifts for MC. Normally, his wife’s close friendship with the actor irritated him, but now he appreciated that Hyun was the best friend for MC.

Jumin brought the birth certificate for MC. The look on her face, both of their eyes watering, was enough to brighten Jumin’s whole world. They would be alright. The Han family. Jumin, MC, and Kyubok.

Mc dying protecting their children. Can you write about jumin please

Sure! There’s a lot of angst coming your way lmao, but also a bit of random fluff and fuzz haha. -Mod Alyun

It all happened so fast. Jumin had no time to react. He was bred to trust his bodyguards to protect him, and his family. But the one time it mattered, his bodyguards failed. His spouse did not.

“Areum, Iseul!” MC called for their daughter and son. The children were playing at the park near C&R Headquarters, something of a tradition during Jumin’s break at lunch. He loved to see his children and spouse, especially when MC packed picnics for the family. Those were his favorite days. But that day was his worst nightmare.

MC was just getting up when Areum screamed, and Iseul, too young to understand, only whimpered. Jumin stared, frozen, as his partner sprinted to their children’s sides. Men with guns had been trying to abduct the kids. Jumin shouted for his guards, but his voice was lost in a gunshot.

Time slowed down. What happened?

MC slowly fell to the ground. In the same instance, their assailants were also knocked to the ground by the force of bullets. Jumin held his arms out as his children, Areum barely six, and Iseul only three, ran to him for comfort. He had been open with curious, bright Areum about life, and she knew what was happening. But poor Iseul thought his parent had only fallen asleep, and was only afraid of the loud noises. Jumin needed to see MC, who was laying in the dirt, red liquid, blood, leaking from between their eyes. But he couldn’t leave his babies, no, they were too scared. All he could do was nod to his guards, who took MC to the hospital themselves. 

Jumin would take care of everything later. He needed to protect his children, his family, just as their parent did. He wouldn’t fail MC. Their sacrifice would not be in vain.

Hey!! I think that another mod is working on a masterlist at the moment! As someone who personally does have an eating disorder (ARFID, anyone?), I figured I was as good as anyone to answer this. I’m going to give the MC different disorders, to cover more ground. Thanks for the request! Remember, I will be talking about eating disorders, so read at your own risk!! Edit at the end: I got a little emotional writing this! Therefore, I’m sorry but I only included a few of the members, with reactions I think that others would share. I also noticed that it got a little long. Maybe we’ll add the rest another time! Sorry again!!! I hope this doesn’t deter you from requesting in the future.

Zen:

Of course he’s concerned, this is his precious Jagiya~!

He only wants the best for them, and when he hears that they’ve been diagnosed with Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, he’s both relieved and terrified. On one hand, he finally has an answer to why MC never ate out with him at any place that wouldn’t serve them sides alone. On the other hand, what if MC became malnourished? What if the tabloids found out, and insulted them?

Hyun did reluctantly reach out to Jumin and ask for help finding a good psychiatrist for MC. He didn’t know anything about what he would have to do.

Zen would also help MC try new things now and then, with a reward of a small sweet, or a kiss, or a short song. If they were scared, he would hug them and reassure them that the food isn’t going to hurt them.

They’ll be safe with him. No matter what.

Yoosung:

What? He’s only ever heard about anorexia. What’s orthorexia?

MC’s doctor explains to him that it means that MC cuts out large groups of food, like all sugars, or all animal products, or anything like that, for fear of being unhealthy. He also says not to worry, though, because MC is actually in a slow recovery already.

Yoosung asks MC they’re okay with talking about it. If they are, he asks questions about how he can help.

“Don’t worry, this is healthy. It’s all healthy, and you can eat whatever you want.”

“Saeyoung promised he would have your favorite food there.”

“Want to help cook dinner? You can see what goes in, and make sure you’re comfortable.”

An actual angel tbh.

Jumin:

Jumin got worried when he noticed that MC wasn’t eating enough. He was even more worried when they complained of being constantly cold. But his breaking point was when they began talking about how they were worried about how they looked in their new clothes. Specifically, they worried they looked fat.

He’d had enough. Jumin called for his family doctor, and asked the doctor to bring a psychiatrist. Pretty soon, the doctors decided that MC was being affected by anorexia nervosa.

And Jumin? He p a n i c k e d.

He had never associated with an eating disorder in his life. He was sheltered from “people like that.” Jumin never detested his father more than that moment, but it was only for a moment. 

MC would never have to worry about medications, or doctors, or anything. Jumin took care of everything, with his own money. He loved his partner more than all of the money in the world.

All he wanted was for them to be safe and healthy, and when they were finally declared recovered, he took them out to the fanciest dinner they’ll ever have. He even took them on a trip to wherever MC wanted to celebrate.

The couple ate whatever they wanted, and they were happy.

Hi!! Mod Alyun here with my first official post on the account! Hope you enjoy! Fyi, I write MC as gender neutral, unless specified!!

“Jihyun?”

MC’s voice echoed in his ears, and for a second, V forgot that time still moved. That time was going forward, and for MC, that meant time was ticking on their stay on Earth.

“V? Jihyun, I… I’m sorry I told you. You didn’t need this on your shoulders.”

V snapped out of his shocked trance when MC, his moon and stars, began to walk away from him with a sort of trembling in their legs. They were weak. How could V not have noticed? He stepped forward and grabbed MC’s wrist, fingers shaking. He couldn’t lose them. “My love, wait. I’m the one who should be sorry, I was only shocked. You’ll be alright.” Jihyun pulled MC to his chest, so that they couldn’t see the tears brimming and threatening to spill over his eyes. There had to be a way to fix this, right?

“Jihyun, they’re saying that they can’t help me. My body is failing,” MC protested still, even though their voice was breaking, and wet spots were forming on Jihyun’s sweater, at MC’s eye level. Jihyun only shook his head.

“You’ll be okay.”

When MC finally fell asleep in their shared bed late that night, Jihyun dialed the only person he could trust to help him. “Jumin? I need your help.”

“V? It’s nearly two in the morning. What’s wrong?”

“It’s MC. They’re dying.”

“…I’ll be there in thirty minutes.”

The next morning, after a tearful, wine-tipsy explanation of MC’s situation, Jumin obviously offered Jihyun use of his personal doctor to keep watch over his fiance while Jumin found a better hospital. He also alluded to an offer to pay for any and all post-death services, if it were to come to that. Jihyun could only accept. He had failed Rika already, even if he knew she wasn’t good for him, he couldn’t help but feel like he should have helped her somehow. He wasn’t going to fail MC. He would save them.

Hi! I saw your New Year, New start post. I would be interested in (Auditioning? Applying? What word) for a mod position, but what requirements would there be for that? (Age? Experience?)

Hi there! We are so happy you are interested! As of now, we really don’t have much for requirements. We want someone who can participate (has the time, can actually participate/write, etc) and has something to contribute! We would prefer someone above 13 or 14, though. Not that we have anything against anyone younger, but it’s just precautionary. We will put out more about prompts and “auditioning”, as well as more about the requirements soon!
