A shaky sigh leaves Saeyoung’s chest, the midnight cold nipping at his nose and fingertips. He’s sitting on the hood of his car, eyes flitting across the starry sky. They twinkle beautifully, with a light not unlike the one he used to try and keep alive. That star-like light in Saeran’s eyes.
Something tightens in his heart, and God, he has to blink back tears. He knows he’s supposed to have trust in V and Rika, but he can’t help himself. He can’t help but wonder where Saeran is now. What he’s doing—what he’s thinking. Saeyoung wonders if his brother is staring at the same glittering constellations in the same dark ink as he is. He hopes Saeran is. At least that brings him some sort of consolation.
Saeyoung sniffles, unable to stop the tears that leave streaks down his cheeks. He’s lived his life for so long without Saeran, but part of him knows that he left his heart behind all those years ago. The ache from that black hole in his chest is unbearable, but a pain he’s learned to deal with since he was only a child. So he swallows the hurt and stares at the luminescent moon—continuing to wallow in his little blues.
If life let him, he’d be yearning for his brother every second of every day—but it has different plans. Sometimes it has obstacles in the form of a gullible boy with a bright smile, sometimes it’s a taser to the side as a warning to keep working. All he knows is that his sorrow can’t exist during the blinding hours of the day—which leads him here, more often than not. It leads to him crying over his brother on the side of the highway, amid blooming dandelions that he knows Saeran would’ve treated like any other flower despite them being weeds. And at this moment, he’s no longer God 707, Defender of Justice, or even Luciel. Instead, he’s Saeyoung Choi. A child without his other half.
When the sun comes up, he’s long gone. All that’s left is a stray zinnia amidst the dandelions, shining on the side of the highway—just under the overpass.
hihi hope you’re having a nice day :D I was wondering if you can do an imagine for a reader who needs reassurance from Saeyoung/707? Like one who feels like he’ll leave them? Thank you so so much
Saeyoung (707) Reassuring MC That He'll Never Leave Them
Pairing: Saeyoung (707) x Gn!Reader (MC)
Warnings: None
Genre: Fluff, comfot
Post-Type: Drabble
Word Count: 900
Summary: In which you feel insecure that Saeyoung may leave you one day so you debate on whether telling him your thoughts or not. Luckily he shows up and is able to reassure you that that's not the case at all.
[A/N: Hello anon. Got this done quickly for you, so I hope it lives up to your expectations and helps you in any way that you need! Saeyoung is 100% the type of guy to fall in love once, and only once. If it ain't you, it's no one, so I think this request fits perfectly with him! (but idk maybe that's just me) Anyway, I hope you enjoy <3]
The sound of your footsteps echoed in your lonely apartment from you pacing the tiny area as your thoughts raced in your head. Thoughts about whether you should really talk about your internal battle with Saeyoung, or keep it to yourself. You knew it was a little ridiculous, knowing that it was only your insecurities manifesting in your head, but you needed to know how he really felt.
You fumbled with the phone in your hands, Saeyoung’s contact already displayed on the screen, but every time you moved to press ‘call,’ you changed your mind at the last second, not wanting to sound insecure in front of him.
You loved him dearly, and imagining a life where he didn’t love you back, hurt. Just thinking about it made your heart hammer in your chest with anxiety. Just do it MC, give yourself some peace of mind at least.
Deciding to listen to your thoughts, you go to press call, but you’re stopped by soft knocking on your front door. Confused at who it could be at the late hour that it was, you tip-toe to the door, keeping your phone on you in case the person behind your door was a dangerous stranger.
Peeking through the peep-hole, you see fiery red hair and gold eyes staring back at you.
“Hellooo, anyone home? It’s meeee,” you hear him say from behind the door.
Your heart hammers in your chest. He’s here. Only a door separated the both of you, so you knew you’d have to talk to him about your haunting thoughts.
You quickly open the door, allowing Saeyoung to step inside before closing it behind him.
“Heyo kitten, it’s your favorite agen- what’s wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?” he asks once he takes a look at your dejected face.
You swallow the lump in your throat, trying to find your voice.
“Can we sit on the couch?” you ask, wanting to avoid talking about your thoughts for just a bit longer.
“Yeah, of course,” he says, voice now a lot softer than when he first walked in.
As you sit on your couch, he takes a seat beside you and curiously looks at you, hoping that if he stared at you long enough, he’d be able to read your thoughts.
“Seriously, what’s going on?”
You sigh, but look down at your feet, refusing to meet his eyes, “It’s stupid really. I’ve just been feeling off recently.”
“Off in what way?”
“I mean, I’ve just been so happy being with you, it kind of feels surreal. Like at any moment I’m going to wake up and you’ll no longer be with me. Never having known I existed, never having cared for me. Or I feel like one day you’ll just come to me, saying you don’t need me or love me anymore…” you stumble with your words, clumsily throwing them out at him, “I know it’s stupid, I’m sorry.”
Next thing you know, his arms are wrapped around you and it’s his turn to sigh into your neck.
“It’s not stupid MC. I’m sorry you’ve been feeling that way. I guess my instincts were right though. I felt like something was wrong so I came straight over to you,” he explains, “But you’re dead wrong if you think I could ever just up and leave you.”
“Yeah, but what if you meet someone else one day and decide that you prefer them?”
“Impossible. No one has ever had a hold on my heart like you do. If it weren’t for you I probably wouldn’t have ever bothered with a relationship in the first place, ya know?” he reassures you, “But besides that, I love you, and I’m going to continue to stay by your side until you’ve had enough of me.”
“I can never get enough of you,” you mumble shyly, affected by his bold words of love for you.
“Good, then we’re on the same page,” he smiles, pressing a quick kiss to your cheek.
You feel your face heat up at the contact. It was something he had done hundreds of times, but having him confirm his feelings in that way made your heart flip as butterflies erupted in the pit of your stomach.
“Sorry, for saying silly things, but thank you for always reassuring me.”
“Of course kitten, I would be a horrible boyfriend if I couldn’t at least make sure you know that you’re loved and irreplaceable,” he smiles, “but seriously, if you ever feel that way again, don’t sit around torturing yourself with those thoughts, come straight to me and I’ll make sure you know otherwise. I looove you. So, so much.”
“I will, thank you honey. I love you too.”
“Now that that's sorted with, how would you like a movie night? I already brought the Honey Buddha Chips and Dr. Pepper,” he announces while pulling them from seemingly nowhere.
“Sounds amazing,” you laugh, your insecurities about him leaving long forgotten as he smiles beside you.
And that’s exactly how you spend the rest of your evening. Snuggled up on the couch together as you choose a movie you’d both like. Between some quieter scenes, Saeyoung whispers more reassuring words into your ear, making sure you know 100% that he will never leave you so long as he has a say in the decision. He’s sticking around for a long long time.
Thank you so much for the request! This is more of a drabble. I'm still not confident with Saeran but I hope you like this! Feel free to ask for a rewrite! \(○^ω^○)/

"Haa.. Why can't I go back to sleep? Ahh it's too cold!" you thought to yourself, rolling to a new position.
"ughhh.." letting out an incoherent sound, you slowly opened your eyes to a dark room, partly lit by the moonlight shining through the windows. You failed your arms around you, gasping lightly at the lack of covering.
Sitting up, you looked around, thinking if the blanket fell off the bed.
Looking to your right, you saw the blanket, pink and white strands peeping out from the top. Lashes softly resting on what could be those cheeks you love to kiss every so often.
You do not wish to wake your bean up, but you worked all day yesterday completing your assignments and catching up with school work, so you were pretty tired and longed for a good sleep.
An idea immediately popped in your head. You lifted the blanket from your side and laid beside him, wrapping your arms around his shoulders and sliding one leg between his'.
"Mhmm.." he mumbled, your eyes snapped to his. You sighed, happy to find them closed.
Nuzzling your head into his chest, you smiled. A warmth better than anything.
Arms wrapped around you, once again snapping your eyes open. He pulled you closer, snaking his fingers in your hair, caressing. You felt a few pecks on your head before you drifted into a sweet and warm slumber. (´∀`)
“Your feet are so cold, Jumin.”
You rolled away from him and whimsically kicked his legs away, fastening the comforter around yourself and leaving your spouse in the bitter chill of the unheated penthouse. Jumin snorted and tucked his feet under the comforter, making you jolt abruptly.
“No, no! Cold toesies!” You cried, kicking his feet away.
“You dare kick at me?” Jumin demanded, a hint of gaiety in his tone.
“You dare try to plant your frosty toes against my already freezing carcass?!”
“Come here,” he growled, wiggling his fingers against your stomach and neck. “This will warm you up now, won’t it?”
“That’s so unfair!!” You squealed, giggling and snorting breathlessly as he tickled you unmercifully. “Stop, stooop!”
Jumin cradled you firmly, giving you little room to wiggle about as he planted kisses to your nose, your cheeks, your lips. The comforter slipped off your shoulder, creating a string of goosebumps down your bare arm.
“It’s so cold in here,” you shuddered, yanking the blanket up to your ears. “When did you say the... the guy was gonna fix the heater?”
“The technician, darling?”
“Yeah, that guy.”
He pressed his lips to the frigid tip of your nose and rubbed your cheeks. “Tomorrow morning, my dear.”
“Hopefully he won’t come in and see a couple of frozen corpses. Like that guy from that one movie, the one with the hotel? Where that one dude was all like, ‘Heeeere’s Johnny!’”
Jumin raised a brow. “The Shining?”
“See, how you’re still able to think when it’s this cold is beyond me,” you pouted.
“I don’t know,” Jumin hummed, brushing his nose over yours. “Maybe I should cancel the appointment altogether.”
“Why on Earth would you do that, Jumin?”
“This is the best excuse to snuggle with one another, don’t you agree?”
“Wha... we snuggle with each other all the time,” you exclaimed.
“Not recently,” Jumin brooded. “You and I, our schedules have left little to no room for us to truly enjoy one another. I’ve missed you, my love.”
Cheeks ablaze, you tilted your chin up and smiled bashfully at your husband. His fingers stroked your jawline, emitting a soft purr from your lips. So this was how he caressed Elizabeth the Third... no wonder she was so attached to him.
“I’ve missed you too,” you whispered, tracing his knuckles whimsically. “I didn’t realize how little time we spent together until you pointed it out... I hope I haven’t neglected you?”
You paused - even if you had neglected him, he would never admit it. Truthfully, neither would you to him.
A relationship kink that needed to be weeded out.
“What matters is now.” His warm breath sent shivers down your spine, reigniting once dormant goosebumps. “To finally be able to spend time with you means so much to me.”
“... Kiss me, Jumin.”
Without a moment of hesitation, Jumin dipped his head, grabbed your cheek, and boldly planted his lips over yours. You smiled as you felt him ease his tongue into your mouth, slipping it over yours and creating a robust gust of heat that not only warmed your body but your heart.
“I love you,” you breathed, curling your fingers into the mess that was his hair.
“And I, you,” Jumin hummed fervidly, pulling away to swipe at the slight dribble of drool that slid down the corner of your mouth.
“Oops,” you chortled. “How embarrassing.”
He shook his head. “It’s remarkably attractive, actually.”
“You think everything I do is remarkably attractive!”
“Is that wrong?”
“... Only when you start characterizing not very cute things as cute.”
He looped strands of your hair over his fingers. “Like?”
You sulked.
“... Like when you clogged the toilet last wee -”
“Jumin!!”
He hugged you close and burst into a fit of laughter while you brewed in mortification. “No more kisses for you.”
“No, no. You can’t do that to me, darling.” He planted kisses from your temple down your cheek and over your nose. The chill that had taken over the penthouse seemed to evaporate as you settled further into your husband’s arms, rejoicing in the warmth his presence and his words provided boundlessly.
As the glow and sincere satisfaction took over your senses, Jumin began to move from you slowly.
“Wh - where are you going?” You stammered.
“To turn the heater back on,” he winked.
....
“The heater was off the whole time?! It wasn’t broken?! Jumin!!”
Saeyoung’s words could be cruel if he wanted. Or even if he didn’t, they sometimes came out this way if he didn’t think through them enough before speaking. But it was alright. You got used to it.
No, you didn’t. They hurt just as much every time, making you feel not just sad, but unwanted, as if your presence changed completely nothing in his life. And you hated this feeling.
“Have you eaten today?” you mumbled, pressing your back against the door of his computer room. You couldn’t tell if he heard you; even if he did, he wasn’t about to reply. It’s as if his computer was his whole life and you were just a fly, an annoying thing that got into his space and, out of no possibility to get rid of it, he just let it be.
Would it make any difference to him if you disappeared? You wondered. Such things went through your mind: should you just get up and leave? Would he even notice?
But then the golden ring on your finger reminded you why you’re here. And that you’ve been here before, and if after all you two went through you could make it somehow better, then you can make it better this time, too.
After a few days of terrible Internet connection due to heavy thunderstorms where I am, I log into my Tumblr account to find out I’ve been tagged in many posts with cute animals and positive messages by no other than the lovely @stars-are-beauty. <3 Thank you so much, sweetie! ~ Here’s a small something to thank you for thinking of me. ^^

“I have no idea why you keep trying to do this.”
Saeran’s nose is scrunched, his eyes squinted as he follows his brother’s fingers’ dance across the keyboard. His arms are crossed against his chest, toes digging into the soft carpet as he taps his left heel impatiently.
“What do you mean you have no idea why I keep trying to do this?”
Saeran expects a joke, an expression of mock offense plastered on Saeyoung’s face, or a loud, exaggerated gasp. Any of those would indicate his brother sees this as the madness that it is. Instead, he's graced by orbs of molten gold, gleaming in the artificial light of lines of code with unparalleled determination.
“She needs me.” Saeyoung turns back to the monitor, his fingers quickly resuming their frantic dance. “I have to find a way to reach her, even if that means my message has to cross galaxies.”
A pause.
“I have to reach her.”
It takes a while for Saeran to realize he hasn’t inhaled in a good few seconds, so he takes a sharp breath in. He used to see his brother as selfish; a bag of douches with no care in the world for anything or anyone.
Now he knows better.
Saeran’s expression softens as he lets out a long sigh. Uncrossing his arms, he slides the spare chair towards his brother and plops into it with the grace of a bear.
omg i love this writing prompt!! can i ask for Chimerical with Saeran or V? whichever one you feel better writing😅
*stands there, clutching my own fist and angry crying* h,,,had,,, had to do it to ‘em,,,,,

JIHYUN
He held her in his arms, lips lightly brushing against the warmthof her skin, travelling up to meet her own and welcome them to the new day. Thetired smile she gave him melted his heart, causing his chest to tighten inadoration and his stomach to do somersaults. Every morning left him feelinglike this- like he was living in pure bliss.
Taking a moment, he looked back on their memories together, reliving the countless times she’s made him beyond happy. Images of her smilesflew through his brain, her laughter playing in endless loops, the soft soundsof her breathing and the whispers of ‘I love you’s. He recalled the timethey’ve spent abroad, exploring foreign countries and getting lost in the bestpossible ways but finding each other spiritually time and time again, likesoulmates drifting back to one another.
His mind wandered throughout their life together, relivingthe warmth he felt as she supported him every step of his way to being anartist. She would willingly model for him, allowing him to paint the mostbeautiful being in the entire world. He could feel the brush in his hand as thebristles lightly glided over her skin, the soft sounds of her moans gracing hisears as he’s been blessed with the opportunity to witness his very own artworkon the most priceless piece of all.
He remembers the day he asked for her hand with a simplering, knowing she truly cared for him rather than a price tag. The happinessthat flooded her tears crashed around him, reminding him that he was truly theluckiest man in the universe to have found who he believes to be his one andonly. He’s never been happier to spend several years of his life living, loving, and experiencing another person- he couldn’t wait to share his time with asmall addition to their family, either.
The pieces of his life started to finally make sense and fittogether- his own happiness and true worth had shone through brighter than ever.
He felt free.
Free of unhappiness, free of responsibility, free of guilt-just… free. It was a light feeling, not warm yet not cold, it was by no meansempty, just… clear. He was unrestricted by the chains of despair and he’snever felt better.
Noticing the loving gaze of soft golden brown eyes scanninghis face, he kept his eyes closed and relished in the feeling. The feeling ofbeing truly loved- loved without conditions, without pain, without obligationsto participate in the warped definition of the word. He couldn’t stop thegenuine smile that spread across his lips, it was his favourite thing to do.
He opened his eyes and glanced down at her soft features, watching her lips as they moved with grace with each syllable that passed them. She spoke of the days plans- he thinks- but he can’t get himself to focus, allhe’s hearing is the angelic sounds of her voice surrounding him, unable totruly make out the words. His fingers ran through her hair, twisting bits andpieces of it around his finger as she spoke.
He heard his name.
He squinted a bit, watching the strand of hair wrappedaround his finger flicker to a bright blonde for a moment before quicklyturning back to brown. His eyebrows drew together, watching it flicker back andforth for a few more minutes.
His name was being called a little more desperately now.
He watched as her hair started to change between curled andstraight, his heart started to race as his mind clouded over. The memories hehad just relived started to fade away- he felt himself attempting to grab atthem, watching as they all slipped just out of reach.
A loud yell of his name broke through.
The once warm feeling in his chest turned to a cold one- onethat had a hold of him so tightly he actually shivered a moment.
He could feel the weight of the chains on his heart. Eachlink full of nothing but guilt and uneasiness, taking hold of every inch of hisbeing; The very being that was no longer himself, he no longer felt the truehim, just the one that had been bent and broken to be what everyone around himhad needed or wanted him to be.
Mint coloured eyes met bright green ones.
He was no longer free- he never was.
The life- HIS life- was never there. It was never an optionfor him and he’d never reach it; the entire world crashed into pieces beforehis very eyes.
It had been fake, imaginary, make believe.
The laughter, the warmth, the intimacy and the love… allof it, simply gone in the blink of an eye. All of it was something he couldn’tremember now- all of it except those eyes.
Those golden brown, shining eyes. The eyes that held thepurest love within them, the eyes that could rival the stars themselves, theeyes he fictitiously fell in love with had stayed fresh in his mind. There wasno one someone could possess such eyes- not to mention there was no way someonelike him deserved to be in the presence of such beauty.
Their love was always going to be something created from hisown mind to escape the one that clutched at his heart.
His eyes closed, feeling the emptiness within his being takeover, darkness shrouding his mind once again as he faced the reality that wasbefore him.
“Wow, it’s really cold,” you mutter under your breath; a smoky white puff of warm air escapes your lips, as if to prove your point. You’re bouncing on your toes in a poor attempt to retain some body heat, but the chill seems to seep right through your wool coat. Damn, you hated winter.
But waiting in the cold is going to be worth it.
Your eyes drift up to the theatre you’re standing in front of, then back to the queue you’re standing in- the line is long enough that it’s gone right out the door. About twenty people stand between you and the ticket booth. Twenty people stand between you and Zen.
You’ve been a huge fan of his from the very beginning, when he was still working at small productions. He now works in larger plays outside of the city, where you can’t afford to go, but he’s returning to the local theatre to perform a musical over the weekend and you’re jumping at the chance to see him again. He’s met you before, he’s signed your photos of him before, he’s smiled at you before… but every time he’s done so, it’s as if he sees right through you.
Just once… maybe he’ll notice you?
About a half hour later, you’re finally through the door and clutching a ticket to your chest. You file into the theatre along with the other guests and take a seat amongst the crowd near the stage. You’re allowed to splurge a little, especially if it’s to see your favourite actor.
The lights dim and the musical starts. Not long after, Zen appears and, for a moment, you’re left breathless; he glows beneath the stage lights, looking as beautiful as you remember him to be. Maybe even more. It’s his very presence that makes your mouth go dry, that makes you lean forward in anticipation, watching him with adoration in your eyes.
And for a brief moment, you swear those crimson eyes meet yours and the brightest smile lights his features, emanating joy. It looks as if his smile was for you, and you only; and that thought only serves to send your heart into a thumping frenzy, even though you know it’s just acting. You press a hand to your chest, to calm your silly heart, but even that gesture doesn’t still it.
When the lights rise, you remember his smile. While you’re calling a cab, his beautiful voice echoes in your ears. He’s all but consumed your thoughts. God.
Head in the clouds, you step out onto the sidewalk and onto a patch of ice. Panic fills you as your shoes fail to find purchase on the slippery ground. You’re going to fall-
Strong arms close around you, holding you gently but firmly. Crimson eyes gaze down at you in worry. “Are you alright?”
