Bonnie's eyes widened in surprised when she heard what he said next. Instead of responding with: you do? She said softly;
"Thank you, I appreciate that.."
He knew that he wasn't the cheesy guy, normally speaking but he did care for her. "Are you?" Damon raised his brows. "I want to know if it is both. You know that, right?"
"Am I what?"
Bonnie asked, tilting her head the slightest bit as she met his gaze.

Bonnie asked him playfully, folding her arms in front of her chest while she watched him
"Maybe." He smirked. "You want me to leave?" Damon looked at her. "Because I'll go."
"No, you're here now.. Why are you here any way? What was so important that it couldn't wait?"
She asked, there was a curious look in her emerald green eyes as she met his gaze.
"Your hair's different; I like it." {Lexi to Stefan @mysticqueenb}
"I wanted to do something different." He told his friend. "Am glad you like it."
"Any particular reason you decided to change your hair?"
Lexi asked out of curiosity, raising an eyebrow as she met his gaze.
"New chapter of life." He replied. "Nothing of that psychological crap. I promise." Stefan smiled. "So, what about a redo of that Bon Jovi concert?"
"Not quite where I was going, but that's good."
Lexi answered with an absent minded smile of her own. Her smile broadened and her eyes lit up in response to his question.
"To that I say: Hell yeah!"

Lexi said as she guided his gaze back towards hers, knowing how bad Stefan would feel once he realized the extent of what he had done here.
"That's good. Try to stay with me if you can."
She encouraged him. If not, she'd have to take more extreme measures to help Stefan get back to being himself.
"Talk to me. What happened since the last time I saw you? It took me a while to track you down here.."

Lexi stated calmly, making a popping sound with her lips at the end of the word.
"Why? Do you need some advice?"
She challenged him, playfully raising an eyebrow at him.
"So that's your mission for your entire immortal life? Annoying everyone in it? That's just sad, really.."
She knew she was poking the bear but right now she felt like he was asking for it.

“Of course you can. But would that help?”
She wondered out loud, not moving a muscle yet. She wouldn’t leave him until she was sure that he wanted her to go. After she asked him about his nightmares, she kept quiet. The only sounds comng from her were her steady heartbeat and her breathing.
He surprised her by actually opening up to her. She kept quiet while he spoke, though her embrace tightened a little when he mentioned he had been tortured for five years.
“I don’t need details, but I imagine that feels even worse than it sounds.”
She murmured softly to him as she gently rubbed his back with one hand. A soothing gesture. The two of them really had come a long way since they first met. No wonder he still had nightmares after all these years. Experiencing that must have been traumatic.
"I'm glad."
She confessed and she discovered that she meant this. He spoke just before she intended to move to sit upright though. An absent minded smile played along her lips when he asked her that question.
"I wouldn't mind at all. Let's try to get some sleep, huh?"
She added as she moved only the slightest bit to get more comfortable. She wondered if he'd ever slept in the same bed with someone like this before, without anything else happening.
Her feelings about him were complicated, to say the least. She decided it was too early in the morning to dwell on this though.
"Good night, Damon."
She murmured with a smile in his direction before she closed her eyes and started to relax her body, wondering how long it would take for her to fall asleep.

She confessed, thinking that the two of them had come a long way. She knew she shouldn't have done that and yet.. She couldn't resist. She had to know what it felt like to kiss him. If only just this once.
She was about to move away from him, but she stopped when she felt his hands on her hips. Blinking in surprise, she turned to face him. Her eyes closed the moment their lips met and kissed him back tenderly, resting her hands against his chest. Allowing herself to get swept away in the moment with him while it lasted.
