Depression makes me feel solar powered.

On gloomy days, or when I get little sunlight, I just feel . . . uncharged.

It's like I'm at low battery so my body goes into energy saving mode and is reserving what little I have left for major functions only.

Kind of like a submarine or spaceship diverting all power to life-support systems.

My Grandmother passed away recently.

I know this, not because my mother informed my siblings and I,

But rather because a friend to my brother happened to work in the Home she was living in. . .
