Wasteland, baby. I'm in love, I'm in love with you.🍃
🌼Snowdrops. Hark! Spring is nigh! 🌼
I found home in an abandoned bench, deep in the woods.
The sky has cleared up and it's beautiful to be in England again.
We lay here for years or for hours
Thrown here or found
To freeze or to thaw
So long we become the flowers
Two corpses we were
Two corpses I saw
And they'd find us in a week
When the weather gets hot
After the insects have made their claim
I'd be home with you
I'd be home with you
- In A Week, Hozier
I saw something strange in the woods tonight 🌿
To be twisted by something
A shame without a sin
Like how she twisted the bog man
After she married him
- Run, Hozier 🌿
"I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree in the story. From the tip of every branch, like a fat purple fig, a wonderful future beckoned and winked.
One fig was a husband and a happy home and children, and another fig was a famous poet and another fig was a brilliant professor, and another fig was Ee Gee, the amazing editor, and another fig was Europe and Africa and South America, and another fig was Constantin and Socrates and Attila and a pack of other lovers with queer names. and offbeat professions, and another fig was an Olympic lady crew: champion, and beyond and above these figs were many more figs | couldn't quite make out.
I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind which of the figs I would choose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one meant losing all the rest, and, as sat there, unable to decide, the figs began to wrinkle and go black, and, one by one, they plopped to the ground at my feet."
- Sylvia Plath in The Bell Jar
I wonder what it is like to live on a postcard.
It's finally raining. Everything is right again.
My mother picked crab-apples off
and pounded them with chillies
the Glasgow apple trees
to change
her homesickness into green chutney.

I don't like the dichotomy between nature and culture. As much as I believe in the preponderance of nature, I don't see culture as its antithesis. Humans created culture not to separate themselves from nature, but rather, in its image.
This naked gazebo is humans' ode to the earth. Elegant, yet unassuming in its whiteness. The way the dome ebbs and flows. The way its pillars branch out and intertwine with it. All the while, being consumed by all the green it stands for and within.
There's something about English cows that makes me feel safe and happy ♥️
I want a love like the trees surrounding a summer pond. Let my water nourish their souls as they stand tall, guarding me from the August sun. Reciprocity isn't always transactional, when it comes from love.
Memories of February past
💮Early crocus flowers. Spring is seven snows away. Your buds lay in wait💮
There is a silent eloquence. In every wild bluebell. That fills my softened heart with bliss. That words could never tell.
~ Anne Brontë
