Flashbacks Part2 of Navy Amy
In a fit of panic Sonic is confused why Amy is screaming in her sleep.
Trying to shake her awake she won’t stop screaming.
Sonic in a last ditch attempt to wake his beloved, he throws water in her face…
Instantly regretting his decision she lunges out of fear and unconsciousness.
Almost as if her instincts were on autopilot.
Sonic in struggling to get Amy’s iron grip off his shoulder was in for a ride. One he will never forget.
He vastly underestimated what Amy can do.
Something has to give he says under his breath.
Another lunge from her but this time she stopped right before he fist slammed into his chest. Instantly Sonic was in a position of fear and confusion.
Never dealing with this, he thought he had done something wrong but why was she unconscious while doing this?
Sonic: A-Amy? Dear?
Amy: …..
Sonic: Hey, wake up!
Amy: Huh…? What’s going on?
Sonic: You have been screaming and crying then I tried to wake you up and you attacked me!
What’s going on?
Amy: Oh no… Babe I’m so sorry!
Amy crumbles to the floor crying..
In a fit of sorrow she never wanted to hurt Sonic , but she wasn’t there, she was asleep…
Amy stands up and grabs Sonic’s hand.
Sonic in a moment of fear drew back from her not knowing she was kind gesture.
Amy: S…Sonic.. you don’t have to be afraid of me… I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to hurt you I wasn’t in control of this..
Sonic: I’ve never experienced this before.. what was that?
Amy: I don’t know… in my dreams I was back on the ship taking on survivors of another ship.
We took a port and I don’t remember anything else….
Sonic: Come lay in my lap.. I’m here… I’m here.
As Amy lays on Sonic’s lap her eyes are filled with sorrowful tears..
Sonic calmly puts his hand down her shirt and on her heart.
Beating fast, he runs his other hand thru her quills and plays with them.
Slowly yet surely she begins to calm down.
Now matching his heart beats she begins to lean up when Sonic holds her in place.
Amy: What do you think you’re doing?
Sonic: I’m not done yet.
Stay still.
Amy: Oh… Okay..
Sonic takes one of his own chaos emeralds and places it on his heart then hers and a glow of pink and blue begins to shine.
Amy confused by Sonic looks in his eyes for safety.
Sonic looking down at her shoves the emerald in her then it disappears…
Amy’s eye light up with blue hues and wide eyed expression. Then the lights are out again..
Sonic leans back and puts his arms under her shoulders dragging her up to him.
And now curled up to him she’s calm, and sleeping peacefully.
Amy wakes up to find Sonic still playing with her hair and gently running his fingers up n down her body.
A soothing feeling of calm, warmth and love washes over her.
Amy: Sonic? Why are we on the couch?
Sonic: well dear it was a crazy night for us.
Amy: What happened?
Sonic: well I think you had a night terror of being back at war against the Eggman empire.
You attacked me after I tried waking you up but you wasn’t there…
But I think I have it under control.
Amy looks at him with confusion as if she’s never felt so safe and confused by his shoulder is bruised and wrapped up.
Amy: Sonic… what happened to your shoulder…
Sonic: I hit it against the fridge earlier nothing to worry about.
Amy: You’re lying to me… I just know it..
please… tell me..
please…
Sonic: lying or not I’m not telling you. But I will say this I’ll never underestimate you again. No more questions, Okay?
Amy: No! I need to know.. for my sake..
Sonic: You almost crushed my shoulder and nearly caved in my chest but you woke up mid swing..
Amy: Thank you…
I’ll never lie to you and I think it’s admirable to keep it away from me. I know you have good intentions with that but my soul can’t handle it….
How did you calm me down?
Sonic: Feel my heart and yours together.
Ames…me and you are one now. What you go thru I’ll feel it but what I go through you won’t.
You won’t need magic anymore to find me.
Just place your hand over your heart close your eyes and you’ll know exactly where I am at all times.
I used my last chaos emerald to take your pain away…
So in saying all of this, I’ll always keep you safe.
And I will never falter our love. But if you’re saddened by any of this I’ll be happy to lend you a peace of my heart to help you along the way, my love.
