No one seems to understand the struggle of have claws instead of hands. Those around Bastra trusts that she can do things that require hands, like typing on a keyboard or gripping on something, but it's still difficult. I think people want to believe in her as an encouragement but ends up the opposite. Rimuru is pretty patient with her though.
Speaking of our boy, Rimuru has wings like Bastra does, but it's pretty underdeveloped. It's embarrassing for him, so he barely shows it off. Besides, he can levitate just fine so his wings aren't really needed he thinks.
Rimuru would definitely need some time alone, he doesn’t share his feelings with those around him because it makes him feel vulnerable and that’s the last thing he wants. Being around Bastra would kind of be an exception? Unless she’s the cause (which is rare)
Bastra surprisingly would need to be alone when upset too. But she gets kind of intrusive and Rimuru knows this so he tries to be around when he knows she’s upset.

Hand embroidery really is trust the process. I have/had so many doubts throughout this project, but even then I may not be satisfied with the end product. Makes my fingers cry

Some proof that I’ve been working on the comic! I know I said I wouldn’t spoil anything but it has come to my attention that making this is going to take all summer at least and I don’t want to be stagnant during this time. It’s been an interesting experience so far, the colouring phase will be the most interesting as I’m not sure I have all the colours I need in my inventory, so I might need to buy more once I’m at that point. I plan to use copic markers for this project so I’m a little excited, but for now it’s in the sketching/planning phase.
