YOUR GLARE AT THE CLOCK, HOPING IT WOULD START MOVING FASTER. making students study physics at nine in the morning should be a crime that gets punished by a death penalty.
yet, until the law is enforced, you have to pretend to understand what mr. clark is going on and on about, something about wormholes based on the diagram sprawled across the blackboard and the word wormholes written in big letters with ivory chalk.
you look beside you to see mike wheeler nodding his head, concentrated as always. such a nerd he is. but, you don’t mind, he tutors you and nerds are, like, kinda hot . . . if the nerd in question is mike. obviously.
finally after what feels like hours, the bell rings and class is dismissed. you cheer internally as you swiftly turn to him, “let’s sneak out!” you whisper-yell as students start filtering out of the classroom.
mike looks at you with confusion, “why would we do that?” he asks, organizing his books in the order he brought them in. you look at him with disbelief, “the question should why not? c’mon, now!”
you look at him with your sweet pout and your best doll face that you know gets him to do whatever you want. “this is exploitation.” mike says as he stands up, shaking his head.
“no, it’s not; you’re in love and can’t possibly say no to your amazing girlfriend, can you now?” you ask him with confidence and his cheeks heat up at the word love and girlfriend.
you’re not wrong, and that’s what makes mike blush like a tomato, is he that obvious? yes, he absolutely is.
you giggle as you walk out with your books to the lockers, not looking back as you know who’s about to run to you. “y/n! wait up!” knew it. you smile as you reach your locker.
to your luck, his locker is beside yours. “are you sure about this?” he asks nervously, arranging his books in the locker. you close your locker, “it’s fun to be troublesome sometimes, einstein.”
“i’m not einstein!” he exclaims and you nod, giving him whatever floats your boat look, “whatever. now, follow me as i guide you to bunking.”
after traversing as discreetly as you could through the basketball court, given how mike kept asking questions every two seconds, even as you told him to be quiet; then just barely jumping over the wall that made the premises of the school in time to not be seen by the principal, who rounds the campus at the start of fourth period like clockwork.
mike is literally, not literally but still, buzzing from anxiousness but also at the thrill of doing something he’s heard so many teenagers do. “let’s sit somewhere.”
you two go to a nearby park that is pretty empty, with only a few pedestrians littered around minding their own business. your hand stays in his as your fingers are intertwined.
mike’s cheeks tingle with warmth as his tummy does a sumorsault, your hand is warm and comforting, he loves the feeling of holding your hand.
you finally reach your favourite bench, the one that gets shade from the tree it sits under and the one that is almost hidden, as it is surrounded by trees on all sides.
he looks around, amused that a quiet place like this exists in the always bustling hawkins. it’s like an oasis in a desert, he remarks internally. and it’s hard to find, too. you could lots of things like— shut up, mike! he scolds himself at the thoughts that ran in his head.
you sit down along with him, “what do you think?” you ask, making vague hand gestures to add to the mystical atmosphere. “this place looks like it’s been cherry-picked from a fairytale.”
you hum approvingly, “it does! so, are you my prince, or not?” you tease him, because seeing him flustered is best sight ever, in your humble opinion.
mike flushes, ears pink, “i’m not brave nor do I have any qualities like that of a prince.” you squeeze his hand that’s still in yours, “yes, you’re a prince. you’re my prince,”
the my does things to his tummy that he can’t place a finger to. “and my prince is a shy, sweet nerd, for your kind information.” you continue and you two burst out laughing after, the kind of softness laced in your blended giggles that only teenage love has.
he nods, “noted, princess.” you smile softly at the addressed nickname, assuming that the feeling you feel is the butterflies that flutter in your tummy that every romance novel talks about.
you lean in without thinking twice, softly pressing your lips on his and he melts. your eyes flutter shut and the smile that is present on both your faces can be felt by the other.
the kiss feels like a dream, your lips are soft against his and mike can’t get enough of it. when you pull away, heart reluctant but body in need of oxygen, he has stars in his eyes.
“bunking is a lot of fun.” he says and you laugh, head dropping on his shoulder. “told you.” you murmur against his neck. he gasps faintly at the feeling of your breath ghosting the skin.
“we should do it more often.” he says and you look up at him, smug smile on your face, “you want to because it’s fun or because you want to kiss me again?” you ask, eyes shining under the sunlight that seeps in and shadows of the leaves are casted on your skin.
mike wants this moment to never end, and with a tone that can be described as truly lovesick due to a lack of a better word, he says— “option c, please. because i love both, but your kisses and you a bit more.”

your ears perk up as the doorbell rings and loud chatter interrupts the otherwise calmness that enveloped your home. oh, yeah, you also bribed your brother to make juhoon come upstairs to get the controllers which are in his room.

you open your door slightly, keeping it ajar to smooth eavesdrop on the conversations occurring in the living room. you cheer internally when you hear seonghyeon say, “yo, juju can you get the controllers? they’re in my room.”
a loud jackpot! sound beams in your mind as you hear your cute soon-to-be boyfriend, hopefully, agree and start climbing the steps of the staircase.
it’s showtime.
you open the door, walking out and mocking surprise when you almost bump into juhoon conveniently, “hi, juhoon! where are you going?” you ask, trying to sound normal but you can feel the way your voice is sweeter naturally when it comes to him.
his eyes are wide in shock and his lips are parted, “oh, me?,” he points at himself, as if he’s literally not the only juhoon you know and that is present right now.
you fight all your inner demons to constrict the smile that is threatening to present itself on your face, “are you not juhoon?” you ask, a teasing tone laced with your words that make his heat up in embarrassment.

he lets out an awkward laugh trying to do damage control— unaware of how you’re just barely resisting the urge to cuddle him until he forgets why he came here, “i’m here to get the controllers, we’re playing a game.”
“i’d assume you would play a game, as what other uses are there for a controller?” you tease further, having too much fun seeing him all red and cute.

he scratches the back of head, desperately trying to siphon the chill guy in him that he parades around in with everyone else, and he knows he’s failing, “right!”
you giggle, running a hand through your hair as your hair falls back, perfectly framing your face and you can visibly see the change in him, his blinks slow down as if he can’t process the sight infrong of him.
“can you come with me, just for a minute?” you ask politely, tilting your head with a smile. he gulps, looking around as he’s damn sure that if he looks into your eyes again, he will crash out and confess his undying love to you.
“uh, sure, yeah... why not?” he stutters, heart racing as you open the door to your wider, inviting him in. your room is as tidy as it always is, and the smell of the floral candles that you have lit up overload his senses in the best way.
you close the door behind you. the click of the door shutting makes him blush, what are you planning? he ponders as he turns to see you. he looks at you, waiting for you to speak.
“alright, i’ve given numerous signals that i know you didn’t catch, and i can’t handle it anymore,” you softly roll your eyes and pout. his yes instantly flick to your lips and up, confusion written on his pretty features, what signals?
“i, y/n, like you: juhoon, very much.” you conclude, expecting the worst, even though you know he feels the same. his reaction is slow, like he has two brain cells that are working overtime to comprehend what you confessed.
oh my god. he thinks. when your words sink in, fireworks erupt in his mind, eyes wide as saucers, mouth agape in shock like he can’t possibly believe what you’re saying.
you giggle at his expression, waving a hand infront of his face, “well?” you ask. he stutters, sounds and words stuck in his throat as if his vocal chords were tied up.
what do you mean you like him? how? what do you mean your beautiful, confident, sweet self who has men ready to date you like him ? juhoon is over the moon.
“oh! wow... i mean, yes! i love you to— wait, sorry; i’m so sorry! i meant i, like, you know, uh, like you too! deeply, passionately!” he wants to jump off a cliff.
you smile at him, “i know. so, will you take me out on a date?” you ask him, stars shining in your eyes. he nods embarrassingly fast, aware that his words will only betray him.

everyone bursts out laughing as if they heard the funniest sentence in the whole universe. the other five’s voices overlap over one another, and the teasing starts.

taesan rolls his eyes, even though his ears are slightly pink, “alright, pack it up—” he starts but they don’t stop. they only tease more and more. sungho ruffles his hair with a shit-eating grin, leehan is pointing and laughing as if there’s no tomorrow, all while the non-stop chatter of the other three is loud enough for jaehyun to possibly get evicted.
well, this has happened many times. everytime he thinks about it for two seconds and immediately he follows it up with a worth it when he sees you and your shiny pink lip gloss.
a part of taesan’s routine is helping you put rollers in your hair at night so that you can achieve soft curls first thing in the morning, which means basically ensuring a good start to your day because a good hair day is a good day.
his fingers gently work their wonders on your hair. he slowly rolls your locks in the cylindrical rollers, clipping them in place. he does it with the precision of a surgeon too, as if he will get fired from an imaginary job where he’s supposed to put rollers in your hair if he doesn’t do it perfectly.
he admires his work afterwards, contently humming as you turn for him. he watches as you then do your skincare routine, tilting his head as he asks what double cleansing is. you answer his question and he nods.
after not even ten seconds, he asks another question. and then another. every single day it’s like he comes prepared with a list of questions to ask you. he just can’t help it, he wants to know everything about the things you love.
he applies your hair serum for you on hair wash days. his hands gently work the serum into your scalp, giving you a massage-slash-serum application service with the focus of a hair stylist.
taesan remembers how you said that serum is only to be applied in the scalp while conditioner is applied on the ends, not the scalp. he works methodically, massaging in sections to ensure the serum is absorbed completely.
he dries your hair for you, he’s basically your at home salon. he blow dries your hair carefully, making sure the drier doesn’t get too close. he smiles a soft grin when he sees you look in the mirror at your reflection, contended with the result.
he holds your many, many bags on your shopping trips. taesan sees you look at any clothing item for a second too long? he’s buying it for you.
he never lets you pay for all the stuff you buy, insisting that he earns to spoil you, making you blush as he winks and slides his card. spoiling you is second nature for this man.
he buys you pink roses, your favourite flower, on various occasions because ‘he felt the need to give you a rose.’ he doesn’t buy you a bouquet unless it’s a special occasion.
instead, he buys a single rose. when you open the door, he either has the stem stuck in between his teeth or he’s on his knees with the rose held out for you in a very proposal stance.
he loves being extra, but only for you to see, as— one, you love it. two, he doesn’t think anybody else deserves to experience this side of him except you.
he takes you out on lavish dinners due to the fact that you love taking lots of pictures and the over-the-top restaurants are a rather good location for photography.
and also because in his humble opinion, you deserve it and so much more.

when you ask him how you look later, he makes silly heart poses, while complementing you ten times, maybe even fifteen. you giggle in response at his antics, and he smiles fondly as he made you smile.
this is what it’s like to be his beloved girlfriend. taesan’s love for you knows no bounds. he will handle anything just to make sure you stay happy, because a time where you aren’t smiling is his worst fear.
who knew love could chance a person so much? he certainly didn’t know that he would go from a nirvana truther to a lana del ray listener. it’s insane really, taesan says it’s due to the girlfriend effect.

THE CHATTER IN THE SURROUNDINGS CONTRASTS THE SOFT HUES OF THE SKY. vermillion, pastel pink and various stripes of cerulean paint a soothing, dreamy picture in the vast sky.
the sun shines the last of its light, marking the evening and end of the day. the season’s endings fair ended minutes ago. students, teachers who came to pay a visit, supporting friends and parents filter out of the large area of the fair venue.
you at last return to the council’s chocosisstance booth— i.e. the school council’s booth where you get free chocolates as a vote of thanks and assistance in any minor issue or problem that either isn’t big enough to go to the principal and teachers for or for any queries related to the fair management, etc.
you plop down on a empty chair that is probably of heeseung, judging by his complaints that fall on deaf ears because you feel like you just worked a fifteen hour shift.
yang jungwon chuckles at heeseung’s complaints, pulling a chair to be beside yours and dropping down on it. he takes one of the chocolates on the stands you prepared in the morning and hands it to you with his signature confident and annoyingly flirty smile.
“let’s celebrate our shared W.” he says. you scoff, rolling your eyes playfully as you grab the chocolate. “the W stands for wasted, not a win; i’m on the verge of passing out.” the nice attitude you conjured for the entirety of the day has ran out and you’re now back to your bitter self.

“it was exhausting, yes... but, it was amazing too, right?” he asks, tilting his head as his bangs fall over his eyes. he looks like the handsome-est cat-human situation you’ve ever seen.
“i don’t know . . . it wasn’t amazing,” you say, faking disappointment. you can see his mood falter in real time and you rush the words out of your throat, “it was very fucking incredible.”
you laugh and his heart skips a beat and his eyes light up like stars under the setting sun as if the stars in his eyes are welcoming the moon to establish its reign over the atmosphere for the next ten-ish hours.
he shakes his head, “you’re such a damn rage-baiter, it’s annoying,” he comments, making you furrow your brows. “mr. yang, are you reffering to me as annoying ?”
the way his name professionally addressed sounds on your tongue makes him stop his train of thought, however he recovers quickly. “annoyingly cute.” he elaborates and it’s suddenly your turn to attempt, ( keyword: attempt ) to play it cool and it backfires as it always does.
you’re utterly put together and extremely professional— you’re hanlim high’s president for a reason. but, your vice-president makes it hard to be as efficient as you’d like. he’s too handsome for you to care about ms. choi’s agenda for the month.
it’s even worse because he never misses a chance to hit on you. he likes you and he’s obvious about it, making it harder to resist. dating your vice-president isn’t a good impression on the council and you can’t lose focus due to love, you’re on the road for being class valedictorian.

you look at him, really look at him and his dimples, his expressive eyes and the fear of rejection he sheaths beneath his confidence. “if you ask me right.”
jungwon’s brain short-circuits. did you just allude to him having a chance with you? are you indirectly saying you might actually like him back too? he goes quiet as the gears in his mind work slower as he’s stuck in a trance where all he can think of is the many possibilities that you opened the door to.
he thinks, and thinks, and thinks some more as if he’s actively solving a murder mystery. you raise your brow in amusement at his silence, awaiting his response as you think maybe i shouldn’t have said that . . .
you’re about to laugh it off when he speaks again, “y/n, we successfully conducted our season’s endings fair,” he says as you nod, confusion still not cleared up.
“and we did a wonderful job,” he continues and you nod again, wondering what’s being plotted by his rather strategic brain. he leans in closer, swiping his tongue over his bottom lip.

you shut the door with a click, a sigh that held exhaustion slipping past your lips. the appartment smelled fainty of sugary goods, she probably tried making new recipes she was crafting.
you’re left waiting for her to come and pounce on you in a fashion akin to that of a lovesick koala who missed you lots and lost, however she doesn’t come.
at that second the realization seeps into your skin, you forgot today you were supposed to take your beloved girlfriend, ning yizhou, out on a date. a quote-on-quote “fancy dinner for my chérie”. and you forgot.

you gulp, not knowing what to do. you barely have enough energy to walk. alas, you step into the drawing room, each step feeling heavier than the last as you make your way to your shared bedroom, hoping that she is there.
you knock on the door and your hand pushes the door open to see yizhou scrolling on her phone, face uncaring but aura screaming i am so mad right now i might kill someone.

normally, she is very considerate; but the fury swirling in her from having spent two hours dolling herself up for you, just for it all to go in vain is enough for her to stop considering entirely.
the thread of patience you summoned is on the verge of breaking, “can we not do this, yizhou? i’m very tired.” she scoffs, “right, you’re the victim. i’m a villain and annoying you, aren’t i?”
the sarcasm in her voice and the sharp bite in her words slice the thread of your patience, “that isn’t what i’m trying to say, and you know that.” your voice is harsher than it sounded in your mind.
“no, i infact don’t. and somethings don’t need to be said out loud to be understood.” her voice raises in amplitude too. “yizhou, i said i’m sorry, can we discuss this like adults tommorow or are you still dead-set on being childish?”
her eyes flash with hurt, however your judgement is fogged by tiredness that let it go unnoticed. “so, i’m being childish ?” your jaw is clenched so tight it hurts and your nails form cresent indents on the skin of your palm because of your balled up fists.
“you’re being immature.” the three worded statement turns yizhou’s fury into sadness. your mind that was fogged by anger clears up when you hear her response, “really, y/n?” her voice cracks in a way that it replays in your mind long after it happens.
it is then you see a glossy sheen on her eyes and realize you’ve gone too far. your anger burns out and the guilt of making her eyes tear up sets in deep into your bones.
you immediately pull her into a hug, wrapping your arms around her, grip tight as if she would dissappear if you didn’t hold her tight enough. her hand stays at her side.
her hands stay locked at her side, clenched hard as if she’s actively restraining herself from giving in and hugging you back. you pull away to cup her cheeks, making her look up at you.
your heart breaks in an uncountable amount of pieces at her glossy eyes. “i’m so sorry. i should’ve kept to my word, i shouldn’t have ghosted you, i should’ve taken you out on our fancy dinner.” the words tumble out quickly.
you take a deep breath, “but i didn’t, and i’m very apologetic for it. i promise we’ll go tomorrow, and it won’t be just a dinner, it’ll be us, for the entire day going at different places, taking pictures, laughing and having a good time.”

YOU'RE ON YOUR KNESS FOR HER. literally and figuratively as you tie the laces of her ice-skates. the skates are ofcourse, custom made in the softest pink shade that replicates the soft blush on her cheeks from the cold.
the ice rink is supposed to be closed, it is a sunday. but your ice skater privileges came in handy and now you have the rink all to yourselves.
she thanks you when you stand up after making sure her skates are secure. you giggle, pulling her up on her feet by her wrist that is enclosed by your hand, fingers tight as to provide reassurance to her that you would be there to catch her incase any mishaps happen, i.e. her clumsy genes act up.
lee wonhee is determined to live up to her name as the town’s best ice skater’s girlfriend. she chants motivational dialogs to herself as if they’ll magically make her a pro at the art of the ice; but hey, a girl can dream.
many girls’ dreams do come true, no doubt, but this girl’s dreams just crashed as soon as she stepped into the frozen rink. so much for amazing figure skater’s girl.
your fingers instantly tighten around her wrist, steadying her, “hold onto the ledge, wonnie.” she obliges, her other hand securing itself around the ledge.
you hold your hand out for her to take, “hold my hand, i won’t let you fall.” wonhee is already regretting all her life choices that lead her up to this moment, but she trusts you more than she trusts herself, so she slowly leaves the ledge to place her hand atop yours.
you smile at the contact. slowly, you guide her on how to move and balance her body. it took a long time considering she is the clumsiest person to walk this gracious earth.
every few seconds a yelp or squeal left her mouth, and you know very well that if she was not your beloved, you would’ve crashed out. but she is your beloved, most beloved honestly, meaning she doesn’t hear any of your mocking.
eventually, she is finally at a point where she can stand and slide along the ice without falling, in theory. you release her hands, leaving her standing with no support and she is still on her two feet, surprising.
“glide on the ice like you’ve got all the time in tje world, okay?” you instruct, your voice stern in a way that makes her immediately agree to the task, but still laced with love that gives reason for butterflies to flutter around in her tummy.
nodding, she slides forward, gliding. she takes her second glide, but somehow she slips and falls forward like a damsel in distress, a squeak resonating in the secluded rink.
your eyes widen slightly as you quickly glide and immediately lean down to her level, “lovey, are you okay?” you ask, inspecting her knees that got most of the impact.
she scratches the back of head, embarassment flooding her expression, “i’m fine.” you tilt your head, “c’mon, don’t be ashamed, skating is hard and you’re doing pretty well.” you reassure her.

and ensues more ‘practice’, which has wonhee falling a few–many times considering it has barely been fifteen minutes since she left the ledge and your hands.
you’re left in genuine awe for two reasons: one, you find it hard to believe that a person can fall this many times in sixteen minutes and two, you also can’t believe that a person can look this cute while ice skating.
everytime she meets the ice— which is probably her friend by now— she takes a deep breath, each deeper and slower than the last, and stands up with determination.
before falling again after barely circling a quarter of the rink.
her unwavering determination stems from the feeling of wanting to impress you, she wants you to feel proud of her. and well, if she embarrasses herself one too many times in the process, she can play it off as it’s a part of the game.
who knew love had this effect on people?
after another half hour, you’re peacefully circling and doing basic routines on the ice to pass your time as wonhee said she is going to practice on her own accord for a bit and directly show you the progress.
and who are you to say no to her big boba eyes? absolutely no one, you’d happily hand your life in a golden, decorated, shining platter for her.
her voice rings in your ears, melodic and sweet as you divert your attention to her, “look at me!” she yells a bit too loudly as there’s only you two in the entire place. you don’t mind, you never mind if it’s her.

you hum, signalling her to continue. without a word, she pushes herself forward, slowly but steadily gliding on the frozen hunk of ice. wonhee travels the side of the entire rink, completing a complete revolution around you, who is standing in the center of the rink.
you are starstruck, she looks so proud as she travels, sloppy but she completed a round. to see the big smile on her face, eyes crinkling at the corners— because of the thing you love second most ( first is her, obviously it is ), ice skating, made your swell with pride.
you’re in a trance, irises reflecting so much love that anyone can make out big, bright hearts in them. the hearts are so big that you fail to notice that she is coming to you now and you forgot to teach her a vital thing.

wonhee tries to warn you, which goes in one ear and out the ear. and the second you snapped out and saw her, it was too late. she crashed into you, making you stumble backwards.
you fell onto your back that suffered most of the impact. you groaned, a sharp pain shooting in your spine. wonhee was on top of you, her hands on your shoulders and lips barely a few centimeters apart from yours.
she whimpered hearing your groan, brows furrowed instantly as her smile turned upside down, “oh my god, i’m so sorry!” she blinks at you, ready to hear you lash out at her.
your back hurt and insults are on the top of your tongue. yet when you open your eyes and the first thing you see is her worried face, barely away from yours, the insults dissolve like salt in water.
“it’s okay, wonnie.” you say, but the unsure expression on her features doesn’t fade. “are you sure? i mean, you fell so hard and it was all because of—” she is cut off by a warm sensation as you close the minute gap that was between you two and kiss her.
you pull away, assuring her you’re okay. she seems convinced, the kiss affected her opinion, and rolls off of you. you stand up, hand rubbing your spinal cord, a massage would do wonders on you.
you help her stand up and teach her how to brake her glide, something you realize you should’ve done before, would’ve saved your back. ice is too damn hard, you’re reminded and the many times you fell during your routines plays in your mind.
for the rest of the session, things don’t change in the vibes sector. good thing, wonhee didn’t fall as much after the prior crash into you. bad thing, everything is still very chaotic and your tiredness is catching up to you.
sleep sounds wonderful, but you’re not about to leave wonhee for today, she looks too pretty.

yn had many things that she loved. le sserafim, fearnots, chocolate, and especially jujutsu kaisen. whenever she sees jujutsu kaisen mentioned on her weverse posts by fearnots, she doesn’t hesitate to like the comment or reply to them. she absolutely loved suguru geto. the fictional guy that everyone fell in love with at first sight. yn didn’t only like him for his looks, but his personality. she once said that kazuha acts like him. she loved how geto was written as a villain and was seen that way even by his closest friends. she loves his character because he was seen as a villain by others but was only trying to help his friend from being used like a weapon everyday. she felt sympathy for him and that’s why, she rants about him all the time.
to the point where her members get jealous.
it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. but yunjin and yn came out here to have a ‘friend” date (it was clear what yunjin’s intentions were but yn was clueless.) and she would not stop talking about this stupid character. “he’s so pretty as well! like have you seen that official art of when he was wearing a suit? he even looked majestic then!” yn continued to swoon over the fictional character while yunjin sat opposite her fuming, it was like smoke came out of her ears. but obviously, she was too busy talking about geto, she didn’t notice.
another time was when chaewon went shopping with her. and all yn bought was geto figures and even started dragging chaewon to every manga store she saw. chaewon was irritated, she wanted to go shopping for clothes, bags or even get a coffee. but she didn’t even get a single thing that day because she didn’t want to leave her alone in those stupid anime stores! “chae! there’s another one there! let’s go!” yn dragged chaewon by her sleeve towards another shop. chaewon groaned but yn didn’t notice at all.
even when kazuha was doing workouts with her! all she could talk about was geto suguru. which lead to the kind hearted kazuha searching him up as well to actually engage in a conversation with yn. although she got some facts wrong and embarrassed herself, yn corrected her and was happy that she was interested in geto aswell! (she wasn’t, but she was only for her.) but it eventually got to a point where kazuha wanted to talk about something else with her as well! yn didn’t notice the bored and sad kazuha that didn’t dare to speak up.
sakura was an anime fan as well. she even had a line in one of le sserafim’s songs that was “i’m an otaku bestie.” so she knew what jujutsu kaisen was before yn was even fixated on it. but when she began to be fixated on it, she found geto as the most interesting character in the whole anime. yn and sakura laid on sakura’s bed while watching jujutsu kaisen. whenever geto came on the screen, yn would squeal. she wasn’t annoyed by it but it got too loud for her she slammed the laptop closed and said, “let’s watch this tomorrow.” and went to sleep. yn was confused but still obeyed her orders and went to sleep.
last but not least, eunchae. whenever yn talked about the anime character she would groan loudly and say “unnie!” yn soon got her into jujutsu kaisen as well and she was interested in yuji the most and even pointed out that he acted like yunjin. which yn laughed at and agreed on. she soon also had her room filled with anime figures, but with yuji. yunjin had once went into her room and was shocked by the amount of pink. “who’s this pink guy?” she pointed at one of them. eunchae and yn giggled as the two of them sat on her bed. “it’s you unnie!”
the members thought that they would only have to be jealous of that geto guy. but no.
the fearnots were ecstatic to talk to her about geto suguru! yn seemed super happy when she was talking about geto and the members were simply jealous because they have never seen her smiling that hard before! not even at them.
after the fan meet, everyone had arrived back at the dorms. yn kicked off her shoe and immediately flopped onto the couch and groaned, “i’m so tired.” followed by a yelp when she felt yunjin flop on top of her. “well yea, i’d be tired too if i spent all day yapping about geto to fearnots.” yn pouted and looked away from yunjin, “don’t talk about my glorious king like that.” yunjin’s jaw DROPPED. the members was holding in their laughs, but they knew that if they were in yunjin’s position, they would’ve had the same reaction. “c’mon babe, he’s not even real.” yunjin tapped her cheek and giggled nervously. yn pouted even more and brushed yunjin’s hand off her face. “you’re not gonna be real to me in a second.”
the rest of the members kicked their shoes off and placed them on the shoe rack before heading over to console yn. kazuha was first, she knelt on the floor and held yn’s face before kissing her forehead. “geto is an amazing guy. so don’t let yunjin’s words hurt you okay baby?” she kissed yn’s lips softly before pulling away to see a smile spread out on her face.
“you’re so cute zuha.” this comment led to kazuha blushing furiously and covering her face.
“no fair! i want to kiss yn too!”
“me too!”
they all jumped at her except for kazuha who was still blushing furiously. eunchae kissed her on her cheek, sakura kissed her on the forehead, chaewon kissed her on the lips and yunjin kissed her on her neck. by the end of that, she was blushing and turned red. it was like a light bulb had flickered on in everybody’s mind. if yn don’t shut up about geto, they’d shut yn up.
after that incident, whenever yn talked and ranted about geto, they’d kiss her to shut her up.
“yunjin!” yn perked up on the couch as she saw her fellow member walk into the room. “hey babes.” yunjin waved with a goofy grin on her face. “yunjin! they released another official art of geto! he looks—“ yunjin held yn’s face and kissed her on the lips. yn was shocked but she reciprocated the affection. it wasn’t long before yunjin pulled away due to the lack of breath. “i don’t want to hear about stupid geto. i want to hear about you. and you only.” although that usually wouldve made yn upset due to the negative comment of geto, she mindlessly nodded as she was still drunk on the taste of yunjin’s lips. “please kiss me again.” she looked up at yunjin with desiring eyes. yunjin chuckled softly before leaning in again and pushing yn back onto the couch gently.
another time this had worked was when kazuha and yn decided to just lay on her bed together. yn had received a message from her friend saying the new episode just dropped and that geto (NOT kenjaku) was so hot in it. yn immediately clicked on her crunchyroll app and squealed when she saw him. she quickly shoved her phone in kazuha’s face (which kazuha didn’t see very well because it was wayyy too close). “look zuha! it’s geto!” she brought her phone back into her face and started ranting. she looked up at kazuha, “he’s so hot isn’t he—“ yn was cut off by kazuha leaning in and placing a soft kiss onto her face. yn pouted but flushed, “zuha, you missed.” and leaned in to kiss kazuha’s lips. after that, yn didn’t talk about geto that day because they were busy doing something else..
it also worked when chaewon was sat on the couch and yn was sat next to her. chaewon was waiting for the second yn started speaking and she was sure it was going to be about geto. and she was right. the second yn opened her mouth the first word was “geto” followed by, “is so hot.” chaewon was so tired of hearing the same phrase every time the two of them hung out and that is why she practically jumped onto yn and pushed you backwards so that she was on top of her and kissing her deeply. yn hadn’t finished her usual rant but she wasn’t too bothered by it as a certain leader with a bob was kissing her so hard she even forgot who geto even was for a second. chaewon pulled away and heavily sighed. “i better not hear about geto ever again.”
sakura was cooking when it happened. yn was in the kitchen looking for recipes when she saw a tiktok notification. she quickly clicked on it and it was her friend sending a geto edit to her. which is why she squealed and sakura almost dropped the glass in her hand. “look kkura! it’s geto! isn’t he so hot—“ sakura began to walk over to her and put her hand on the back of yn’s head before pulling her into a kiss. it was soft and gentle with a slight pressure that said, “i want to shut you up but i don’t want to hurt you.” yn leaned into the kiss with a soft sigh. a smile broke out on her face when sakura pulled away from her face while sakura held her face softly. “i love jujutsu kaisen but i love you more. so please, don’t talk about geto infront of me before i burst again.” yn nodded with a drunken smile on her face.
eunchae, the yuji lover. she couldn’t stand yn swooning over geto anymore. sure, she liked jujutsu kaisen and gojo as well. but this was really annoying her now. she only wanted to watch jujutsu kaisen in peace when yn stormed into her room while shouting “is that geto!?” in her face. she sighed and closed the laptop. she dragged yn down onto her bed and started peppering her face with kisses. yn giggled as the maknae kissed her cheek, forehead and even her nose. it was very ticklish to her. “okay! okay!” yn giggled and kissed eunchae’s forehead. “i’ll shut up, okay?” eunchae nodded without hesitation. “please do.” this made yn giggle more, “i don’t think im that bad.” “you are.”
in the end, the le sserafim members finally found out a way to shut yn up about suguru geto. and it was a satisfying way.

after the concert, you and giselle had been given backstage tickets. of course, giselle was very excited and enthusiastic about it. even rambling about how she had caught yunjin taking about you on her private twitter and was going to give her a beating. you only sarcastically laughed in response. which lead to her slandering you as you two were lead towards a random corridor. at first, you thought that the tickets were invitation to the send off.
you were wrong. so wrong. because the second you had arrived at a door with the sign “LE SERRAFIM’S GREEN ROOM” with mumbling behind the door, you almost peed your pants. before giselle even knocked, the door swung open revealing a tall brunette. “GISELLE!” the woman shouted as she jumped and tackled your friend onto the floor. you giggled while giselle was glaring at you.
when the pair finally got up and the taller brunette was hit by giselle, the idol finally noticed you. “wait. oh my god.” her eyes widened when she saw your figure. “giselle, that’s—!” “yes i know, the girl you thirsted over on your private.” giselle deadpanned. “this is yn.” the idol smiled. “nice to meet you yn! also i wasn’t talking about that.” you smile back at her offering a small wave. “nice to meet you too, yunjin right?”
yunjin smirked, “someone did their research.” you froze, but then relaxed and let out a sigh of relief when she laughed. “joking, joking.” yunjin swatted her hand. “don’t play with her like that, she’s shy.”

“aww, it’s like watching children fight.” the both of you glared at yunjin, she let out a nervous chuckle and then quickly perked up again. “oh yea! yn, i know someone who would reaallly love to see you. come in!” she opens the door more inviting the both of you in. the room was clean but messy with snacks all around the place.her members were all scattered around the room, either resting or chatting to a staff member. “wait here, i need to find her.” you nod and turned to giselle with a fake smile. “you didn’t tell me we were going to be here.” she rolled her eyes. “if i told you, you wouldn’t have came.” which was true because you hate chatting to famous people.
“quiet because i’m right?” “shut up.”
“yunjin, i don’t think it’s a good idea—“ “shut up zuha. i’m tired of hearing you drooling over her everyday. atleast say hi if you claim you’re her biggest fan.” yunjin was seen trying to pull her member off the couch while rolling her eyes. she lets go with a sigh. “if you don’t come over, i’ll tell her to come over here because you’re too shy and scared to walk over to her.” the member visibly perked up and immediately stood up with her shoes screeching on the shiny floor. “i’ll go!” yunjin pats her on the back, “i’m so proud.” she wiped away her non existent tears with a smile on her face.
“but yunjin—“ “shut up and just go.”
when giselle saw yunjin and her member coming back, she immediately stopped your rant about how you should leave and that the last time this happened it didn’t end good with a hand in your face. you grumbled in response and was ready to slap her hand away if you hadn’t noticed an enthusiastic yunjin and a shy kazuha next to her. you blushed as you remembered what you had posted about the latter on your private twitter. “ooookay! so this is kazuha, your biggest fan!” yunjin swung her arm over the shy kazuha’s shoulder. with a screech, she pushed yunjin’s arm off and hid her face in her hands. “unnie! why would you do that..” she sulked.
you giggle at the shy member’s reaction. ‘cute.’ you thought as you watched her face turn bright pink. giselle looked at you with knowing eyes, you scoffed and folded your arms.
yunjin pushed kazuha over to you and quickly left with giselle. the both of you sat awkwardly on the couch. you mindlessly stared at a wall while kazuha was panicking inside. “so.” you started. “you’re ‘my biggest fan’?” you teased with a cheeky grin. kazuha’s face flushed red but didn’t dare look away from your eyes. she stood her ground and said something you hadn’t expected her to. “ne! you’re very pretty and even though i only found out about you last night, i’d love to be friends with you! i’ve watched all your vlogs and you’re a very funny person!” she blurted out with her hands in her lap.
you slightly giggle, how could she be so cute? “i’d love to be friends with you as well.”
kazuha visibly perked up after she had slowly curved her back and pulled her body inwards in anticipation of your answer. she was afraid she had said too much and scared you off the first second, how embarrassing would that be? luckily you had accepted her offer and began chatting about your interests, which kazuha loved to hear about (only because your voice was soothing to her), and began to bond over the shared interest in breads! you joked about how you would open a channel just for reviewing breads in bakeries but kazuha would actually love to see it! although, she didn’t voice her opinion as she didn’t want to seem lame and desperate. yunjin had taught her if she wanted to ‘bag’ somebody then she would need to act cool and nonchalant! this being said, kazuha tried to stay calm and chill the entire conversation. but she couldn’t stop her leg from bouncing each second as she was nervous from your soft stare!
although, she didn’t know if she could fully trust yunjin’s advice because the older one often acted like a loser and fangirls would love it! and it seems like acting a loser was working on you as well. “kazuha, you NEED to go to france. they have a lot of amazing pastries over there! i went once with my brother and he almost spent all my money.” you pouted when you thought back of the time when your brother began to swipe your card to pay for the pastries with you knowing.
“i hope i can in the future! but i have been to the uk, but sadly i didn’t know there were a lot of expensive yummy pastries!” kazuha wept in her mind. “ah..” you said. you were more silent than before. was it because of something kazuha said? you recollected the memories in the uk before realising kazuha was waiting for your answer. “i used to live in the uk. it’s a shame i didn’t know you at that time. i think we would’ve been great friends.” you smile. kazuha’s heart skipped a beat, do you know what you’re actually doing to her?
“cmon yn! we gotta go.” giselle chimed in as she walked over from the vanity table. “just a second!” you replied. “hey, can we.. exchange numbers?” kazuha hesitated as she fished out her phone from her pocket. “of course!” you beamed and quickly entered your number into her phone, you saved yourself as ‘yn 🤍’ and handed the phone back to her. “we should hang out soon.” you said. “i agree. i’ll text you later!” kazuha gave a grin. you were convinced that if she was a puppy, her tail would be wagging around. “i’ll be waiting for your text then.” you waved as you stood up and followed giselle to the exit. “bye yunjin!” giselle waved. “bye giselle! bye yn!” yunjin shouted from inside the room. “bye yunjin, bye kazuha.” you smiled at kazuha. “bye yn!” she waved enthusiastically from the couch as you giggled at her cute demeanour. giselle quickly shut the door and ran back to the parking lot. you closely followed from behind, you were confused why giselle was in such a rush to get home. she got into the driver’s seat as you climbed into the passenger’s seat. as if she had read your mind, she turned on the engine and revealed why she was in such a hurry.

her face is unreadable, surpirising considering she is as expressive as a cartoon charecter. she finally takes a breath, breaking the silence, “you want me, to be your first kiss?” she asks, voice so unsure as if she can’t believe it, at all.
you hum in agreement, “yes.”
her eyes flash with something in what appears to be a millisecond and a smirk reminiscent curve curls on her lips, “well, i can’t deny my y/n-ie, now can i?” a teasing edge lingers in her words that makes your cheeks tingle for an uncertain reason.

she smiles a smidgen and then it happens. it actually, in real life, happens. her lips press on yours and you feel like the world stilled in its position.
you always thought that k-dramas overdid first kiss scenes with the soft music and the sparkles and the zoom in’s but as you tilt your head and try your best to follow her lead, you feel that they don’t do enough.
her hand lays steady on your cheek, grounding you and reminding you that you are not hallucinating and making out with the air. her other hand subtly squeezes your waist, making your lips leave a breathless gasp before she attaches her lips to yours.
yuna’s lips are soft and just as plump as you’d imagined. you have imagined what many things would be like with her, for example going on picnic dates, sleeping over (romantically, you sleepover at her house most nights) and more adult things.
yuna can’t get enough. the taste of your lipbalm has her head spinning and her senses are fogging, her sole focus is on kissing you. her dream has finally come true and she can’t hold back the tiny smile that makes its way to her mouth.
after a ridiculously long makeout ‘learning’ session, in narrator’s words; yuna finally pulls away and you’re left breathless and in a desperate need to kiss her again.

the biology version of the circuit that is in your brain short-circuits, words stuck in your throat and hands that are around her neck still. the two-worded question sounds unreal, there is possibly no way what she’s saying is real.

the silence seems to have knocked yuna out of her trance as she realizes what she just asked. her eyes widen and she is about to backtrack, but doesn’t get the chance to because you push your lips back on hers again, like it is second nature, like you didn’t just share your first kiss with her less than two minutes ago.
you mutter a yes that is barely loud enough for her to hear in between your shared breath and attached lips. you can feel her smile in the contact and you are sure she can too.
in conclusion, you learnt two lessons today— one, yuna is a phenomenal kisser. two, you two are going on a date tomorrow. oh, and a bonus number three, you heart how to kiss.

safe to say, jihyo and her bow are nothing short of enemies. she gulps, pointing her bow at sana as she takes a deep breath. she draws her bow, arrow ready to bond two souls in a beautiful love.
she is about to release the arrow when an ubnoxiously loud horn blares, completely catching her off guard and she flinches hard, her fingers losing grip of her arrow.
the arrow land on the pavement before bouncing back and hitting — her. while you two? you laugh at a dumb joke sana cracks, hand grazing her arm.
a million thoughts run through jihyo’s mind— oh shit. do love arrows work on angels? no, obviously they don’t, hah. who said they don’t? what if they do work? am i tied to a mortal?! what about my human-hater aura?!?!
she face palms herself, unleashing her angel wings. she lifts herself up, flying to the quietest place she can find, an abandoned building on the other side of the industrialized city.
she lands on her feet, head pounding. she takes a deep, deep breath and lets out the loudest, scariest, most petrifying, most perplexing and most disgusting scream mankind would’ve heard if she was in her human-proof form, i.e. visible seemingly human form.

you fix your hair for the last time, grabbing your phone and keys. you walk out and lock the front door of your studio appartment. as you reach the ground floor, a black suv pulls up and steps out a woman with blonde hair.
jihyo’s eyes narrow, who is that? the woman looks to be your age, with heavy makeup and a big fat tattoo on her neck to her jaw. jihyo is stunned.
a strange, undesirable feeling spreads in her being. it’s not hate, distaste or even judgement; it is something else entirely. her eyebrows furrow and she unfurls her wings as the suv engine roars to life.
she follows the car with intent, she doesn’t know who you’re with and she can’t take the risk of anything happening to you. she needs to have a happily in love client, not a harmed or dead one.
upon reaching the restaurant, jihyo remarks that it looks very expensive taking in account the standards of mortals and what they consider ‘exquisite’ — which is nothing compared to heaven’s breathtaking artitechture, but jihyo digresses — she sees the woman open the door for you and lead the way.
jihyo sits herself on the windowsill along the table you and your date sit at. her lips are pulled downward, her eyes stern and glaring at the woman for unknown reasons, most probably annoyance as she didn’t pair you two and if you did start dating momo, jihyo knows her name now, she wouldn’t get credit for it. that is she’ll have a failed target.
fuck you, momo.
the more the date progresses, the more jihyo gets mad. you and momo are now engrossed in a meaningful conversation with her hand on top of yours, disgusting, jihyo thinks.
since when did literal cupid have a problem with public display of affection, especially in this case: all you’re doing is letting momo lay her hand on yours, that is it.
jihyo won’t let this ship sail, not when you’re her target, absolutely not.
following this date, you are more than happy to have a second date, but momo declines and says she already has a person who she is seeing seriously. it is surprising, the date you went on is only three days ago as of now but mayhaps she fell in love at the first sight.
jihyo is the culprit for this. she matched momo with another woman of the name dahyun, gaining another target up her sleeve and conveniently got momo out of the way.
is it a little unethical to pair a target with a match that you’re not assigned to? ofcourse. is jihyo regretful? the fuck not, infact her ego is higher and soaring the skies just as she is, literally, in search of another match because she just heard you sister-zone sana.
over the course of the week, you’ve went on a first date, and also a second date, but things didn’t end well, it didn’t escalate to a third date. you are pretty bummed, simply too tired from spending valentines day alone for all your life.
now, jihyo? that’s another, more impatient story. well, she is very patient b everyone has their limits and she is at the point where the line of the ending of her limits is seen four meters away.
she’s been working on this for five weeks and counting. she thinks finding love is easy, but this has proved her wrong, sometimes it really is as comically hard to find as movies and those ‘slow burn’ books make it out to be.
in this stage of annoyance and stress— she comes to a slightly, again, unethical solution. it is a given that you, as a cupid, aren’t to reveal your identity and let your target know you’re their assigned cupid. however, she is at her wits end and breaking cupid laws is not her biggest priority.
so, she gets your number from snooping on your phone at the dead of night. she is currently in a hotel room that she rented down the street where you live, with her phone in hand, your number opened and fingers selectively typing an appropriate message; which is definitely not easy as you know, texting your target as their cupid doesn’t have a course, unfortunate.

with your cupid’s guidance and planning, you have went on many, many dates in the past month. and two times you were ready for an official relationship, but somehow, someway, it never worked out.
something always went wrong one way or another; minnie who quit things because she wanted to be with a thai woman, why did she say that after three dates? questionable. and then there is mina, who denied continuing things due to ‘personal reasons’, debatable.
you are deeply frustrated, while jihyo hasn’t a problem, she is unbothered, happy even! she is driving you crazy. seeing her so chill about your already non-existent love life deteriorating makes you want to maybe rip her glorious wings off.
oh, yes. you have seen her now. after you begged, begged and begged some more and even went as far as to put your ego aside just to see who your damn cupid was, she showed herself, wings, shining iridescent halo and all.
she is pretty, like very pretty, ethereal-unreal-doesnotexist type pretty. you wonder what it would be like if only she was human. yet, she is not, she is an angel. you’re a human.
you huff sitting opposite to jihyo, jaw clenched as you glare at your cupid. “how bad of a matchmaker are you?” you ask, “does it always take this long to match two people?”
jihyo has an unreadable expression on her face, an emotion evident which you can’t identify. she’s utterly conflicted and her mind, it is a whirlwind of ‘what if’s’ and ‘why me’s’.
over the course of this month, every day you went out with another woman, held hands, smiled, giggled; she felt angry. she didn’t know why, her plan was literally going according to plan, you were having a good time, yet she couldn’t shake the unknown feeling in her.
one day, in heaven as she was conversing with jeongyeon, she couldn’t hold herself back and she asked her. jihyo explained her symptoms, as if she was infected with a disease, and told her what has been happening with her.
the more she talked, the more jeongyeon’s smile turned downwards, spread into a deep frown by the end of jihyo’s struggle-speech. jeongyeon sighed, raising her hand and placing it on jihyo’s shoulder.
“what?” she asked, confusion written on her face. jeongyeon sucked a breath, “jihyo, the arrow did work. you’re in love,” jihyo gasped, a look that can only be expressed by pure exasperation on her face.
jeongyeon nodded a little when she saw her face and continued, “you’re experiencing jealousy; you want to be in her date’s place.” jihyo shook her head, “that isn’t possible! what are you talking about?!”
“i now know, it is infact possible. arrows if love work on cupids too.” jihyo’s world was turned upside down from the two lines. how did she fall in love with a mortal? the same mortals who she finds pathetic to be in love with.
pure, golden irony.
today, as she sits across from you, understands the feeling she feels when she’s with you. she knows the effect your laugh, your smile and your eyes have on her is because of the bond that she created.
she swipes her tongue on her bottom lip, making your eyes drift on them for a second before flicking up to her. she stands up, walking closer.
you look at her with a perplexed look on you. she disregards your expression, clasping her fingers around your wrist and pulling you up to stand inches from her.
from this close, you can see faint sparkles in her irises and her pupils are slightly dilated. you have never been this close to her, you can see the faint skin texture of her face.
a light rosy shade of pink coats your cheeks from the distance, or lack of to be clear. “what do you think you’re doing?” you ask, trying to sound stern, but your words come out hushed, careful.
“i matched you with someone more than a month ago.” she says, words laced with something sweet and not monotone speech. you have noticed changes in her since getting to know her.
in the start, she was sharp, demanding and dedicated to finding you a match. slowly, though, she got more sloppy, more indecisive, more soft.
her eyes aren’t blank when she looks at you now, they are a mix of something soft and mayhaps... vulnerable. her feels more approachable, less like a love tyrant.
“then, why is she not asking me out for a date?” you try to pull your hand out her grip but it only tightens, “she is a coward, so she looked at tou from afar.” jihyo answers and she isn’t wrong, she is a coward for seeing you be rejected again and again, knowing who you are to her.
“well, you did a bad match then! i don’t like cowards.” you complain sharply, huffing once more. “she told me she won’t be a coward anymore,” jihyo coos internally at you, who knew humans are this cute?
you don’t respond, waiting for her to continue. “is she still a bad match, even if she’s your cupid?” jihyo finally says it out loud and it feels like a big burden has been removed from her shoulders.
your mouth falls agape, gears in your head working overtime to comprehend the question jihyo posed, “you can’t be serious.” is all your throat allows you to whisper, eyes blinking at her, your supposed match.
“i wish i was, loving a mortal isn’t easy.” loving? your brain short-circuits. “oh my god.” you breath out. “why are you calling god’s name when you have an angel?” jihyo tilts her head.
she looks so cute right now— y/n what are you thinking?
“so, can i kiss you?” you ask, hesitant, you’ve never kissed an angel before— duh, but as you look into jihyo’s eyes and fall for them, understanding that her unreadable look is just her eyes with tiny, dancing hearts in them— you want to.
maybe thinking like this isn’t bad.
jihyo immediately almost spontaneously combusts, blush staining her sun-kissed skin. you raise a brow, ready to back down, maybe i was too straight forward, but she doesn’t say anything.
instead, she presses her lips to yours, pulling you in a blissful kiss. it feels like sparks and fireworks blast around you. you have kissed many woman in your life, but they’ve never felt this right, this good, this perfect.
jihyo truly is your match, the kiss just proved it, and you for some reason, can’t find any reason to be frustrated. and as you pull away for a second before she rushes in again, making your forehead bump with hers, you can feel her smile into the kiss. and you realise being cupid’s match won’t be bad, at all.
and jihyo? she has now broken a big rule in cupid guidelines, yet she isn’t bothered. because she now knows why mortals love. loving mortals isn’t hard and it is surprisingly addicting. and even if she has to suffer the consequences of breaking a rule she, she wants more, especially if the mortal in question is you.
