Hi there! Welcome to my writing/personal blog, I also have an art blog here. My name is Saturn (or April, Daze, Tropi - take your pick! I have a lot of internet aliases), currently 25 and pursuing my postgrad in psychology. I love drawing and writing, as well as immersing myself in fun fandom stuff. I am also Christian and my faith informs a lot of the work I make.

I'm still new to posting my writing on tumblr so a masterlist is currently in the works.

Expect a lot of posts of my work, reblogs of my favorite characters, and a little rambling. Also research for my stories, too!

wdym the affection is so restrained that its leaking out sideways

on one hand this is great bc i have so much reference for the fic like: someone taking your advice personally, emotionally orbiting around your recommendations then presenting them to you proudly, scheduling time around you specifically, 'what if we have kids' and 'not yet' spilling out the seams and then the weird silence that comes after of the truth coming to light unwillingly, etc.

on the other hand this ISN'T great because it's happening to ME.

if i switched the main relationship of the fic to hiccstrid do you think the curse will leave me

actually im going to fight back against the curse. ive decided that if this person does anything im just going to say no LOL

but its so weird. everytime i write a fic/get interested in a fictional character some weird equivalent of whoever the love interest is will pop up in my life, then i realize what its like meeting a variant of this character would be like realistically, then i get disgusted/annoyed/unhappy/freaked out, and i never revisit this character again

examples would be itto and al-haitham from genshin impact, miguel from spiderverse, then hiccup (but im stubborn abt him bc i also see myself in him in a small amount). but now im worried abt when i get to writing my own original story... i have this own horrific fakeout love interest who becomes the villain and im PRAYING i never meet this variant irl

in regards to that last piece, i streamed myself drawing it on tiktok and was compeletely taken aback when i looked away for one second and then looked back to find 400 people tuning in. THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE GOING IS THIS HICCUP??? IS THIS THE TOOTHLESS GUY??? was soooo funny, and the amount of ppl who began to simp over him was so crazy
