Answer:

Damien chuckles at the riding hood, sitting across from him at their favorite spot. “Definitely flowers. Sure they die…but flowers have a language. Mother taught me the language of flowers and how they speak for you.” He picks a flower before handing it to the other. “Here’s a Red Camilla…That’s if you know what it means.” Damien winks at him.

Answer:

 Damien looks at the ground, pulling at the grass below his feet.  “Pretty much outliving all my friends and family who aren’t immortal like me.” The deity said, tears in his eyes.

Answer: Damien answers, “Hmmm… I was riding on a motorcycle, and I was in a city, probably Seoul. But, I wasn’t alone when I was riding a motorcycle. I guess my brain came up with a really cool future date.”

Answer: Damien laughs before stopping himself. Clearing his throat, “I mean.. I do…when it’s someone I really like.” He blushes.

Answer: Damien ponders for a bit, “Well… definitely I’d settle down with my future significant other. Probably achieve wanting to be a professor at Mythos. I love Moral Education.”

Question 18:  What do you do to get over your anger?

Answer: Damien laughs, very wholeheartedly. “Oh man…That’s funny. I don’t know..yet.” Knowing he has the baddest temper amongst the student body. “If I ever stop picking fist fights at Mythos, probably that’s when I’ve figured out how to get over my anger.”

Answer: “Dogs. Considering I grew up with Cerberus.” Damien shrugs.

“hey check on the cupcakes, will you? if they’re lukewarm go ahead and pull them out so i can frost them!”

“can’t be too hard eh? well i ain’t quinn for sure with his mother whose hair was very magical.” he pouts before tapping his fingers on the counter of his kitchen. he was drying his hands as he just washed them.

“are they suppose to taste like anything? i wouldn’t really call it a cupcake if they taste like...nothing.” he said with a look on his face, mostly concern.

damien knows how powerful magic can be. as a deity, he knows potions are not to be messed with. even hecate reminded him that potions can be dangerous if it was in the wrong hands. 

listening to her instructions, he checks in on the cupcakes, testing the temperature of the cupcake pan by touching the metal. he doesn’t frankly care about burning his fingers, but he knows it does the job. “they’re lukewarm, they’re ready.” he tells her, taking it out of the freezer before playing them on the counter next to her.

“so...what happens if this doesn’t work? or i grow hair in the wrong place?”

holding his mug of tea, nursing it kindly in his delicate hands, he waited for the other to come. a friendly demeanor set up, yet his intentions were anything but.

hearing a whisper in his ears, “damien...” the dead was calling him. he growls, it being in the middle of the afternoon on a weekend.

“what now?” he growls, being roused from his afternoon nap. getting up, he turns on his lights in his bedroom. the dead calling him in light whispers.

“someone’s summoning you...” their voices fade and next thing damien knows, he’s in the middle of someone’s apartment. he turns to find shin sitting in his own chair, nursing his cup of tea. “oh great. it’s you. the rumor spreading guy or so i’ve been told.” he narrows his eyes at him.

“what do you want from me, shin?” knowing the other, he’s seen him in the halls and they’re in the same grade. “what is it so important for you to rouse me from my nap?” his intuition blaring in his head, something wasn’t right.

he stuck out his tongue, letting out a small sob. “it tasted different… were you trying to poison me, like everyone else is?” he whines, definitely not making sense and definitely going to regret this once he was sober.

it was just the norm for damien to check on the patrons. most importantly if they were mythos students, he’d definitely have to baby them. if they were underage, well, he would chastise them or else it would cost him his job if he snuck alcohol to them at the pub.

with moon as a regular, damien knows he has to keep an eye out or else the dark fairy would embarrass himself. he sighs, “damien.” he correct him lightly. looking at the clock, damien wipes down the counter and taps moon’s arm, “ya know, it’s getting late moon. i’ve been letting you sleep here for too long. i gotta close real soon.” he said in his best firm customer service voice.

it was just water. damien thought, “you’re being over dramatic now.” he rolls his eyes at him. “it’s just you can’t handle that much anyways dude. you’re not blessed with the highest tolerance, just let it go.” knowing how many times he had to stop moon from getting a hangover.

the deity sighs, “not poison. it’s water so that you can sober up while i’ll clean up the pub and call a taxi for you.”  he reaches to grab the empty cup of booze that moon was drinking.

Damien clears his throat, “Why is it any of your business huh?” Not really wanting to answer.

“He wears a lot of red. If you can find him.” He looks the other way, blushing.

Damien laughs, “It was Rowan. I think if I remember, I sent him a funny joke and he sent me a bunch of LOLs and laughing emojis. I think he found it funny?” The deity smiled.

Question 5:  If you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be?

He answers, “Probably in a meadow of flowers with my mother. She was fun to be around on the days that she took me out of the Underworld. Damn, I think I’m grateful she ate that pomegranate.”

Damien held up a pair of black boots, “My famous, black Doc Martens. Used one paycheck on them. And my favorite color is black and I love boots…so I guess it matches my aesthetic.” The deity shrugs.

Damien glances around, “I have one. I share Cerberus with dad, so technically 1 and a half. Posie is my hellhound, she’s one of Cerberus’ children. "

“Fortunately, no. I have lived underground for most of my life and I’ve been to Olympus a couple of times. So it’s not too scary honestly.”

“Look Zion. Deities don’t get that much injuries due to their immortality. I’ll be real.” Damien said before placing his phone down to maintain eye contact with the other.

“I think the closest injury that I had when I was a kid, was probably spraining my ankle for 2 weeks. Mama let me stay indoors with dad and well..he thought I was being stupid and lazy. So he thought it would be funny to make me walk Cerberus. Funny enough, Cerb was on leash and I was a 3 foot kid at the time and I fell flat on my face cause Cerb decided to dash forward.”

He whispered, “F*ck you dad.”

“Oh god. Ummm…Well… this habit isn’t really the best habit. But I used to smoke for a while. I stopped cause Hades really punished me for it. Telling me that I need to stop acting like a human.” Damien sounded flustered.

“A nice silver ring. Funny, but I wanted to treat myself to another ring on my finger. I got flower buds engraved on it for mother.”

Grinning at Laurel, “Man..it’s about time you finally asked me that question.” He shoots a pointed look.

“I love R n B, Hip Hop, Rap, Rock, and EDM. Very basic I know. But oh it gives me joy to blast some Childish Gambino in my headphones.”

Knowing Damien, he didn’t have a sibling growing up. He was pretty much alone until growing as a child that he was able to make chldhood friends like Haeun. But, meeting his fellow relatives at Mythos was very comforting. Although most of them were younger than him, it was still nice to approach them, offer them anything or even just talk to them.

With Laurel, it was different. He and Laurel had a friendly relationship that consists of moral support and nice gifts. With a succulent wrapped in cellophane tied with a pretty yellow ribbon, Damien placed it on the counter of the pub’s bar. Turning his back against the counter to hid the pretty plant behind his back, Damien eyed the door.

“Hey Laurel!” He waved at the younger as he walked into the pub. Tonight was Laurel’s first open mic night. Thanks to Damien, Laurel was set up with the right equipment and this wondrous opportunity to perform.

“Come here chap. I got something for ya for your first performance.” He gestured over.

Damien purses his lips together, “Hmm.” He lets out before pondering. He hasn’t really been on a date in a while. “People can say I’m pretty dark as a person. But they don’t know that I make the best date ideas.” He said grinning. “I’d take my ideal first date out on an aquarium date. I like to admire them looking at the aquatic animals. It would be nice to talk about the animals too together.”

“When I’m around my family of the Greek kids here at Mythos. They’ve stolen my heart basically with their energy, I can’t really tell them I love them cuz I have a hard time telling them. But they’re family and I was the only child so its nice to have de facto siblings.”

“Oh aha.” He scratches the back of his head. “I once accidentally was teleported via someone slamming their fists on the floor of their shower. You can guess the rest.” Damien blushes.

 “Everyone has the right to their fate. Which is why I’m neutral.” Damien shrugs.

“I think I live by having fun….and telling others that they need to relax sometimes.”

Damien glances around. “Sure enough, I think someone has it out for me right now…and I’m not happy. I think this is their way of karma.” Damien glares at the floor as he sat in his chair.

“Hmm. I like to eat at home. Saves me money. I can also learn how to cook better. The only time I eat out is for special occasions and with the other Greek Kids.” He sniffs before raising a brow.

“I wouldn’t call them ‘hot’ per say.” Damien says. The deity glances over, avoiding the fairy’s eyes. Damn it, he thought. He didn’t think this question was going to bring up bad memories of the past. But it did.

“Sadly, yes I caused it on my own.” If only Demeter wasn’t so negligent.
