There was a magpie bird that saved a woman once. The woman had fallen off her balcony and was severely injured.
The magpie is named Jellybean.
The bird I had rescued when little is all grown up now and likes to come say hi to me in the mornings.
Do you ever...
Feel like a part of you is missing?
I don't mean a person you love
Or a longing for a home away from home.
But instead...
Something you've never ever had...
Something this physical body has never seen...
What is it I'm talking about?
Wings.
For others it might be a tail or ears.
Others might also feel wings.
I feel... incomplete.
I can feel them fluttering when they're not there.
Where are my wings...?
This house is...
This house is nothing...
But a collection...
Of bricks.
At this point in my life most of what I do is just capture frogs after thunderstorms and take them somewhere safer.
I'm the frog, lizard, grasshopper, bird rescuer.
There's been quite a lot going on lately. I've managed to get some decent pictures since moving.
I don't have many poem ideas lately but I'm trying.
I'm still working on my studies.
I hope you all have been alright and if not I hope it gets better. Enjoy the pictures.
The house is empty...
Just a shell...
Just plaster and brick and wood...
Once full of life and growth...
Multiple childhoods to be remembered...
Now empty...
Abandoned... but not forgotten.
Never forgotten.
Happy pride month everyone. I hope you all have a good month. It is also Men's mental health month. Whether you're out or not, whether you're struggling or not. I am proud of all of you.
Purple haze,
a rogue wildflower,
defying manicured lawns.
Velvet petals,
unfurling in the sun,
a rebellious splash of color.
They call you weed,
I call you art,
a jewel in the green.
Sing, Muse, of unlikely pair, a demon, angel bright,
Crowley, Aziraphale, in shadows kissed by light.
No war of heavens, hells, but whispers in the breeze,
Two nightingales of sorts, among the ancient trees.
For Crowley, serpent sleek, a song of smoky grace,
Defiance in each note, a rebel’s shadowed face.
He sang of falling stars, of pleasures yet unknown,
A melody of fire, on angel's heart bestown.
And Aziraphale, he heard, his spirit took to flight,
His own song, soft and pure, a beacon in the night.
Of kindness, grace, and love, a counterpoint so fine,
Two voices intertwining, in harmonies divine.
No epic battles raged, no kingdoms rose or fell,
But in their shared refrain, a different kind of spell.
For love, a gentle bloom, on thorny ground took hold,
Two nightingales, a story, waiting to unfold.

In the sunlit patch,
the orange cat sprawls,
a warm flicker of fur,
dreaming of lazy afternoons.
The black cat prowls,
shadows dance beneath her paws,
a whisper of night,
where secrets curl like smoke.
Together they wander,
two different worlds entwined,
each glance a story,
each purr a promise.
With the weather getting warmer and nicer, I will hopefully be out and about more. Hopefully more pictures and maybe videos will be uploaded.
"Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay." - Robert Frost
Oh this tangled web we weave.
When nervous, house sparrows flick their tails to ease out the tension.
I wish I had a tail to do that too.
Well, at least it feels nice outside.
The Autumn weather is nice.
