I fell for the OC x Canon marketing. It's probably not the most original design, but I'll try to improve it over time.

Right now, I'm still debating whether to give them a sweet relationship or have a tragedy happen and boom! Angst

(The headcanon of Taph having wings isn't my favorite, but I drew her that way for this drawing because I was too lazy to draw hands. I don't hate the idea either; in fact, I think it's cute that she has wings! But I'm also open to many interpretations and original designs! <D)

My character knows Mexican Sign Language, and Taph knows American Sign Language, but they still manage to understand each other and learn from one another :)

I'm still struggling to decide on a name for my OC, so I don't have a specific one at the moment

MORE OF MY UTOPIA AUUUU HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN??????

I did some doodles yesterday of Kai and Nya as kids in the AU, funnily enough they couldn't hold hands because whoever will play Philip's role wouldn't let Kai lay a finger on her. I also wanted to show the WIP of their possible designs as adults, idk.

I'm thinking of who will be Philip Carvel and who will be Milner, I'm thinking of other roles ofc but rn I've been thinking mainly of these two. The idea I've liked most so far is mayyyyyybe like, uhhhhhhh, either Garmadon and Wu as Philip and The assistant and having Misako be Milner and pull Koko from the movie out of my fucking ass and make her Alice, because sincerely I didn't remember Philip had a wife and personally I just think Misako fits Milner well, besides idk how to explain it but I feel Garmadon fits better than Wu. I'm rambling but I wanna just like yap about it but if anyone has suggestions or comments or questions about it I'd be happy to answer, this is silly but eh.

Although that also makes me think that then Kai and Nya would be Garmadon's children, which also also would make them both Lloyd's older siblings, which idk if it's good for the story or not, I mostly just wanna do this for fun but there's a bit of me that gets nervous of maintaining the like, greatness of the show, even though it's a dumbass AU. Honestly I think them being siblings would be fun, and to separate them I'd make [Philip] leave Lloyd for adoption because honestly, it's better than what [Pietre] went through and either way in the canon of Ninjago we all know the little shit got dumped in an orphanage or whatever it was.

Also also also I didn't want to make Garmadon and Misako Lloyds direct parents in the AU because In Utopia Grant's parents are in an abusive relationship and I already have enough tonal whiplash as it is so I don't want to make Garmadon a wife-beater yah?

I love Taph and nothing will make me hate her. For some reason, I remembered seeing those pictures of an anime girl with galactic hair, and my brain thought, why not do that with Taph? And that's how it turned out.

Initially I wanted to make Taph normal, but since his default skin is yellow and not purple, I went with his milestone 4 :)

Telamon, god of the sun and the heights

A friend gave me the idea of making Telamon as Tonatiuh (Aztec sun god, if I'm not mistaken TT)

I tried to make the clothing and symbols as accurate as possible, although there are some things I made up and combined with Telamon's clothes, and why didn't I give him golden eagle wings? :D
