Creature 11 - Dyubovun

These funky fellas are found around southern Wenditu!

I'll definitely come back to this when my brain isn't mush and add more details, lmao.

Creature 10 - Unnamed

Here's the result of the park drawing! I'm not really sure what I want to name these guys yet.

I used my new Ohuhu markers for this, and, I gotta say, these are really nice to work with! I'm definitely gonna start using these more often :D !!

Update on the Daily Creature Posts!

I can already tell this school/work combo is going to be kicking my ass this semester, so I think I'm going to start doing these creature drawings weekly instead of daily. I'll aim to do them on Mondays or Wednesdays!

This will also give me more time to put a bit more effort into the finished pieces (i.e. creating detailed backgrounds or better shading/rendering).

I'll still do additional text posts alongside the creature ones so I can explain Beldon a bit better, lmao.

Daily Creature 9 - Thuyaid (thoo-yaid | θˈuː-jˈa͡ɪd)

These funky fliers are found in the mountains of Wenditu.

These guys hunt small creatures by dropping down from the sky to grab them. This quick attack, as well as their dark, rock-like patterning, has led to their name: Striking Stone.

Daily Creature 8 - Jyotaf (jai-yoh-tahf | d͡ʒˈa͡ɪ-jˈo͡ʊ-tˈɑːf)

These herbivorous flyers can be found in the northern plains of Otheplum.

They will usually live in large groups and will build nests in patches of dense shrubbery or hollow trees. Their hook-like finger is great for climbing, hanging, and pulling things closer to themselves.

Their wings are only really good for short burst flights to quickly dodge predators. They prefer to use their wings and their rear-leg webbing to glide from place to place when not in danger.

Their name is a Lanticised version of the Pritil name Jiyo'Tafonne, meaning Ghostly Forager. They most likely got this name from their light pelts.

This sea creature can be found in the deepest waters in between Otheplum and Lonjun.

Due to the extreme depths that these creatures live at, no Pelram has ever seen them. That's the reason they have no official name!

Same with the Praktal, I don't have much more lore to give for these guys. My dice rolls gave me a max size, max f'ed-up deep sea creature, so I just made a freak that glows. However big you think this thing is, make it 10 times bigger.
