Creatures of U'mhaha. A damp, swamp world colonized by the Arikra. The Arikra who stay here long adapted longer limbs. The planet's native fauna are six limbed mammalians often with vertical mouths.

Originally they were kind of a vent art type thing. A connection to childhood asking the question: What do I want Tickle Monsters to look like?

My answer, these guys.

I want to add them to my ArtFight, but I have no idea what to name them haha.

Drew this while listening to a Hank Green/ Drawfee Video about different planets and what creatures could live there. I found it really inspiring :)

And here’s a finished drawing of The Absorbed One - episodic yet very important creature from a story I’ve been working on for several (12) years now (but my dialogues suck so it will likely never see the light of day). The creature that starts the whole story and serves as a tool to explain lore behind Eternal organism. Since it’s just a concept that’s less of a full render and more of a reference for future. So shading is minimal. Still not fully happy with how I work with color so glowing parts are only partially done with a handmade gradient. But overall I think this perfectly captures the creature I imagined in my head

Btw, that was initial sketch and I honestly feel that I was able to properly develop it into something better
