“Everybody’s Lonely” by Jukebox the Ghost Sheesh I’ve heard these guys’ name for a long time but I didn’t realize it was right up my alley, piano-driven indie rock with lovely lyrics and a amazing ability to craft a good melody.

The Wombats - Turn The 4th album from these English gents and it’s got a similar feel to the rest of their solid-gold discography, maybe a little less angsty, a little more subdued but still fun and still great song writing. Here’s a nice acoustic take on one of the singles.

“Dear Life” by Beck
Holy shit to learn this on the piano would be amazing. So one of the singles off of Beck’s new album Colors. He’s returned to the pop side of things and this album really leans into it. Still, the lyrics are weird and vague enough but still seem to make perfect sense. Now that’s my kinda song. Dear life I’m holding on.

“Be Alone” by Dan Croll This one’s not on either of his albums! But we saw him live and he played this and I was like.... wtf is this it’s great but I’ve never heard it. And Goddamn, it could not come at a better time for yours truly. I like to be alone sometimes.

“Hit Parade” by Mutemath When a beloved band drops a new album you’re always a little nervous it’s gonna be a dud. With this track 1, the slow build gets the tension going then at exactly 1 minute the beat drops and you know everything’s gonna be okay. Nothing’s built to last

“Mr. Finish Line” by Vulfpeck
These guys don’t know how to make average music, it’s ALL a jam babyyyyyy
STANLEY IS STREAKINGGGGG
RAC - Johnny Cash ft. Scavenger Hunt Stream/Download: http://smarturl.it/RACEGO My new album "EGO" is out now! Intro To RAC: http://smarturl.it/RACINTRO RAC ...
“Johnny Cash” by RAC Another artist who started making remixes and dropping some dancy singles, this album is full of fresh material with a little bit on the front and back of each song to give the album some flow. And this is one of the few songs where the bridge is my favorite part. Nowhere to go but up.
“Pure Comedy” by Father John Misty Another third album release, another cynical satirical look at the state of humanity by a musically talented bearded fellow. A real songwriter kinda album, just wonderfully jaunting along; plug in your record player and let it flow. Now that’s what I call pure comedy.
“Amerkia” by Young the Giant The first track from Young the Giant’s third LP, an album that made me look back on their previous albums and realize how truly amazing they are. And this acoustic version really shows off how talented the group is. I am mad because I don’t know what you used me for.
“Wolves and the Water” by Edward R. Killer indie rock, inspiring and fluid, can’t wait for more!
“That Girl” by Tegan and Sara MAN what a kick in the pants for a first track. These guys have been making albums for a while but their last two have turned into a particular brand of electro-pop-rock that slays. Let’s GO.
“In the Morning” by Rogue Wave
Another Rogue Wave album, another list of chill rock jams, we’ll see you at Outside Lands babyyyy!
“Dancing on Glass” by St. Lucia The single off of St. Lucia’s most recent album, just what I’d expect from these synth studs, I’m excited to hear the rest of it!
Is there something in my teeth?
Just started watching Doctor Who and you have to wonder, is there a single living human who doesn’t watch David Tenant and absolutely fall in love? Who IS this man?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POn6p9knI4s “Genocide” by Dr. Dre I found it hard to pick a favorite from Dre’s new album. Despite being a total newcomer to the hip-hop genre I found myself enjoying thoroughly nearly every track on this 2015 real-as-shit concept album. Needless to say the star-studded LP doesn’t believe in braking. Gotta love Kendrick’s intro to the song with just a giant melodic sigh. (2:48)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5OzO4uF_1A “Demon” by Shamir A very modern, eclectic album, and I present one of the more tame tracks on this stylish foray into R&B/electronica. If I’m a demon baby you’re the beast that made me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZMV1M8gID4 “Painted” by MS MR Super stoked to hear their first album wasn’t the end of their magic. A similar sound, catchy, brooding, and dynamic. That’s how it feels.
