Him and this song is a heavenly combo omg.
iām sick of people calling emojis corny š i love them š„°
For some obscure reason I'm rewatching Grey's Anatomy for fun and I've noticed two things :
1) Emergency medicine physicians simply do not exist in this show, the ER is run exclusively by surgeons
2) Apparently it's a military medic thing to dislike the shiley cannula
Bonus : 3) Maybe itās also just a military medic thing to have crush on the smartest one in the room who unfortunately lost her father when she was young, what drove her to pursue medicine
Which is perfectly understandable, just look at these goddesses
holy FUCK i was watching grey's and got jumpscared by quite possibly one of the hottest celebreties i've ever seen
The way this could apply to almost ANY possible character of Grey's anatomy is seriously something...
Happy Pride to Dr Callie Torres, Bisexual Queen š
"And you two are...?" "We're uh.... related to..." "to the... situation..." "Lesbian Lover. Baby Daddy." LMAOOO
cobra kai core four walking into school together in season 6 all chummy must have confused the fuck out of the other students so bad. like. were we not witnessing one of you slicing the other's arm open with a hot topic bracelet and another one of you tossing the other one over a stair railing literally last year......and now you all look like you're kissing each other.......
s2 ep27 alex picking up izzie and her crying in his arms after denny (or however his name is spelled) died was NOT on my bingo list. (genuinely what i need in life)
one of my favorite scenes. The way he picks her up and she doesn't even protest, just hides her face in the crook of his neck.
genuinely. something everyone (including me) needs to experience at least once. have u watched all the seasons?
I'm currently on season 16 episode 16, and not to give you any spoilers but I'm not happy with this episode. I was on a pause for a while, but will be resuming the show tomorrow. I'm assuming you're somewhere in late season 2/early season 3? and first time watching?
omg s16? u must be dedicated wow. tbh i feel like itās so valid to take a break from the show or have multiple feelings towards it cuz i think that so many characters leave or die?
iām on s3 ep2, iāve only been watching it for a week but i canāt wait to finish it im so curious to see what will happen. Yup this is my first time watching it and making such a long term commitment to a show. is it urs as well?
Oh yeah, I love the show. Though that might have a little something to do with my career path as a future surgeon lol. And that's not really why I took a break this time. Just busy schedule. But If there was a time I might have taken a break, it would definitely be around season 10 or 11. Those few seasons were quite depressing. oooh the good old seasons. Those first 8 or so seasons are peak Grey's. The show just gets more... boring[?] as the characters die or leave [Not trying to discourage you or anything lol] And yeah, it's my first time watching too, but I did go out of the way to get a few spoilers to avoid possible heartbreak in the future when someone just freaking dies out of nowhere. lmaoo
omg wait u wanna be a surgeon? thats so cool? are u in med school already or do u wish to get in in the future?
okay ill emotionally prepare myself for that ngl idk if those r the seasons derek (i think?) dies but i dread those times although ion like him much..
i feel like the first seasons of every long show, the seasons where everyone was in their prime, are the best thing ever. iām not getting discouraged but i think imma shed a lot of tears on this show cuz there r barely any people standing. BAHAHA ngl same ive seen quite some spoilers that im highkey displeased w..
Yup, I had always planned to go there, but Grey's Anatomy just made it more clear for me that it was the right thing, that's why the show is so close to my heart. It's like my saving grace. I'll be starting med school in a few months. It's not necessarily those specific seasons. It starts to go downhill from s8/s9 and then there's just one bad thing after another, and it just becoming depressing after a point around s11. Yeah, I haven't watched a lot of long shows but that generally seems to be the case. The first seasons are the golden ones. and going into the show without any spoilers is truly a show of strength tbh, I have no idea how people do that lmao
congrats !! i hope u love it there and thatās so sweet n moving lowk. i think it impacted a lot of peoples lives to a degree and that is a great thing.
i think even in the first seasons there have been certain depressing episodes but i figure in later seasons it just keeps getting worse. honestly even tho i know im gonna cry endlessly i think its a good thing, its not meant to be happy all the time. it kinda shows that life isnāt all rainbows and butterflies and that being a doctor, and most importantly a human being, comes with a lot of emotional baggage that u always move on from sooner or later.
tbh i havenāt either i just canāt commit but greys anatomy has me hooked. ngl i have no idea either cuz half the things iāve watched iāve spoiled for myself beforehand.
Thank you so much! :D And yeah, it really did change lives. Not just in a professional way, but Callie's bisexual arc helped me a lot too. Her story line with her dad, and then him coming back to her. And then her mom, just how it shows that some people eventually accept it but some people NEVER come around. that helped a LOT. and I love Ortho too. Pretty sure I'm gonna specialize in it later, so that was a big plus :D You do have a point there. The first few seasons have certain episodes too. But idk dude, it's hard to explain, but the vibe just goes down later. So even the jokes don't hit the same anymore. The cinematography and the unclear quality of earlier seasons gives me nostalgia. And I guess so many things keep happening, that at one point you're not even surprised anymore, just exhausted. But yeah, Meredith going through all those shitty things sometimes makes me feel a lot better about my own life. And the bond the doctors have with their patients. That JOY, that feeling. It's something else. I love that one episode in season 6, I think? Called, "Invest in Love". I love Arizona's storyline in it. I distinctly remember, the first impactful patient death happened in Grey's and I was devastated. and I remember thinking, "Okay so they actually do kill people, all the time. I can't go through that with a main character. I gotta search it all up beforehand and steel myself against the tears." Oh yeah, it was those two patients stuck with a single long rod or something!
okay so i just got a huge spoiler regarding george cuz of tiktok.. im scared.
i havenāt reached the part they talk bout her sexuality or how her parents reacted to it yet but the whole āsome eventually accept it while others never doā is so real and can be applied in multiple situations. omg ortho sounds cool. i love callie sm as a character and addison too. To me, addie is the most inspiring character so far like her cheating was bad i agree but sheās such a girlboss.
the whole quality thing is so real. the older the show the worst the quality the bigger the nostalgia. idk why but the mer things was funny in a way but i feel terrible for her even tho ion love her.. (compared to others at least) but yeah i imagine doctor - patient relationships to be so fulfilling like seeing the joy on the face of the person u helped oml.
ill let u know when i get to that ep but i love that title. for me,so far, the first death that impacted me was in s1 that nurse that was under cristinaās care and was only there to die peacefully. i sobbed so hard idek why. but yeah so real like were knot searching it up to protect ourselves and reduce the trauma cuz j swear im still not prepared. omf i remember those it was so sad, or basically everyone theyāve lost during surgeries i cant.
I know exactly which spoiler you might be talking about. It's... bad. Like, sobbing into your pillow at night type of bad. it's a longggg journey before she reaches her sexuality arc. And I love George but I hated him for the way he treated Callie. You'll see what I'm talking about, assuming you're midway through season 3 by now. I love Callie's character too. Especially her friendship with Mark. Those two are so precious. And her friendship with Addison, though I'm sad they don't let the story line go anywhere in the later seasons. Yeah, it's a little funny. But just think about it, Meredith has gone through literally anything a person could imagine. It doesn't get any worse than that lmao. The end of that episode WILL get you smiling like a fool at the screen, trust me. Oh yeah, I remember that nurse patient, I was probably too disconnected from the show at that point to feel it really. I was just trying to get to know the characters on a deeper level, you could say. It's the way they show us those patients' personal aspects, make you get to know them better. it's like all a set up for their death. I always get suspicious when a patient gets too much screen time lol
oml wait iām scared. ngl tho rn george and iz are pissing me off so bad rn. poor callie.
EXACTLY. i think things will prolly just get worse but him cheating and concealing the truth is so annoying.
same same same. well, iāve not seen her relationship w mark yet but her and addison are the best thing ever.
genuinely any thing that could possibly happen has happened to meredith iām concerned.
if weāre talking about the two people stuck together, it was a good ep. valid but personally i think i was pretty connected from the start and idk how that it is for my well being. omg real but im hopeful. itās so hard to not get attached to the patients and most importantly the docs.
Yeah, I was mad at Izzie and George too. but then they did Izzie's whole redemption arc in such a way, that it wasn't even redemption, but even Callie herself pretty much felt bad for Izzie. Callie is basically at rock bottom, after George cheats on her. But [I don't remember it well, but I think] Mark helps her through it all, and then helps her get back up. And even after... well, I don't want to give you spoilers, but after her next fling too, he helps her. And I think that's so beautiful, they're always there for each other. There's two scenes between Addison and Callie that I love so so much. Both might be spoilers for you. But one has something to do with "Monologues" [You'll see what I mean when you get there] and the other is when Addison comes back due to something with her brother[?] and there's this scene where Callie goes, "God knows who you are. You save babies for a living." And it still keeps happening to Meredith. The horrors never stop LMAO. Not proud to admit it, but I was a bit skeptical when I first started watching the show. They eventually won me over though, because of course they did. And it's always such a surprise when the patient you're emotionally invested in, ACTUALLY survives lol.
omg i need to see what that redemption arc is rn. i finished s3 today and ong christina and berk? šš
omg my baby mark. YAYAYA i hope she does fr help her cuz she donāt deserve this at all.does she have a fling w someone weāve already seen in the show..? also, from what iāve seen in edits theyāre an amazing duo.
WHICH SEASON IS THE MONOLOGUE ONE?? that sounds adorable. my shaylas.
NO GENUINELY WHAT CURSE HAS SHE BEEN GIVEN
ohhh rlly?? i wasnāt but that is so valid. no exactly half the times i think theyāre dead..
the redemption arc is more like, 'Izzie going through some of the horrors instead of Meredith' lmao I was never a fan of Burke and Christina after the whole 'hand' thing that happened. I didn't like how Burke treated her. [Tbh, I never thought anyone could treat Cristina the way she deserved throughout the whole show.] But when Burke left her at the altar, I really did believe that he loved her. He loved her enough to let her go [one of my favorite tropes ugh] because he believed that he needed to set her free so she could pursue the things that SHE loved. Mark does help her a lot, and tbh Callie helps him too. They ARE an amazing duo. My favorite in the show, and even more once it becomes a trio with Arizona. I remember the scene between them where Callie's like, "Wanna get some drinks at Joe's?" and Mark is so adorable, with puppy-eyes, like, "Really?" And Callie just smiles at him and goes, "You're good for more than sex, Mark." And yeah, you're kinda right about the fling, but also... not exactly?
The "Are you speaking the ------ monologues now?" scene is from s4 ep 14. I really don't want to give you any spoilers yet, cuz it will be iconic the first time you hear it from Addison's mouth with her whole smug, all-knowing grin. I wonder sometimes too lol. Yeah, I think I actually went, "okay I MIGHT like this a lot." during that one scene where they're all leaving the hospital after their first shift ends. Meredith is smiling, walking up from behind, while Cristina, Izzie and George are laughing and talking. I loved it then. I know, right? it's always a 50/50 chance with the patients and you're anxious af waiting before the screen.
okay i mean izzie kinda deserves some bad karma sooo.. no fr i get him dumping her at the altar but i felt so bad cuz they both loved each other so much and they were so cute. sure they argued but i think he understood her a lot. the whole hand things was so messy tho.
ooh i havenāt seen arizona yet but im looking forward to it. omg what? i havenāt seen that scene but thatās adorable. i felt bad for him; everyone literally used mark just for sex.
okay now youāve motivated me to do a greys anatomy marathon and get to that ep cuz rn iām on s4 ep3 and im missing my Addison. that scene of all four leaving the hospital happily is prolly the first and last time things werenāt messy between everyone. i loved the vibe as well. No cuz genuinely theyāre so stressing us out.
True, I didn't like Izzie after what she did to Callie either, but trust me, her story line does make you feel bad for her later. And Cristina and Burke were certainly a LOT more better than Cristina's other significant relationship in the show [trying to keep it spoiler free by not mentioning the character's name, but I HATE him for a lot of things he did] Me too. Like, sure they used Mark as a comedic relief many times but he had so much more to his character. I'm glad they explored it later, with his relationship, where he actually loved her and cared for her a lot. Oh wow, you're already on season 4? Enjoy those first five seasons while you can. You're not gonna like how the next season ends haha. The first five seasons are actually the last time things weren't messy between everyone and people were happy. it's just gonna get worse. [ngl, I feel so powerful knowing how things are gonna go to hell after this while you're obliviously enjoying the earlier seasons. It feels evil LMAO]
literally, she was such a bitch. I think (from what iāve seen on tiktok) she gets cancer but doesnāt die hopefully? isnāt christinaās other bf named owen or smth? i canāt wait to hate on him but gosh he better not hurt my christina. i love her sm.
from what i understand, mark had THE character development and so did alex lowkey.iāve already noticed both changing their character for the better and im assuming itās only gonna get better.
yup iāve been trynna make it a part of my daily routine, watching multiple eps a day w my dad. omg im so scared.. each finale keeps getting more traumatizing.
even the first not messy seasons are kinda messy tho but they have moments of happiness ( ur so real for that but im genuinely terrified for whatās coming)
Yep, you saw right, she gets cancer And about her dying... Well, I'll leave you guessing. And yeah, right again. Owen Hunt. He's not really a bad character, necessarily. He has a lot of great friendships and he is an amazing mentor to April Kepner later. But he is a terrible partner, and he treats Cristina [and all his other gfs] so badly I want to kill him sometimes. And again, you're right about Mark and Alex too. Though from what I interpreted. I think the major difference between those two is that for Mark, we can see that he is not really a bad guy, like he is mature, he knows how to not act like a jerk, besides the sleeping around thing. And in the later seasons, we just see his true nature coming out. But with Alex, it's like he IS actually a jerk in the earlier seasons [and I mean that affectionately, I love him.] and we can SEE him change in real time. He doesn't reveal his inner nature, he CHANGES into a better version of himself. The first 10 seasons are amazing. Even, the first 14 seasons are good. But then it goes downhill as actors leave the show more and more. I'm currently halfway through s17, and it's so boring and depressing [it's the COVID season] that I'm struggling to even continue. The older characters aren't here anymore either. Those moments of happiness just keep getting less and less as seasons pass. Or more like, the happy moments don't hit the same anymore. [You should be scared lol]
leave me guessing sounds tricky..
okay i mean ill let u know when i come across him so we can run over him w a car š„°
thatās so true. i totally agree and i genuinely think helping addison on her cases and seeing how izzy was when denny died were quite the determining factos.
i hate when actors leave shows but it also make sense cuz the commitment is too much and it gets tiring. WAIT. theyāve a covid season? oml is bailey at least a part of it?
makes sense cuz theyāve just traumatized u sm that u js canāt be happy š ( i so am)
[LMAO I thought I reblogged this days ago. Sorry.] Well, how far into the series are you now? Yup, I'll gladly be getting into that car, and running him over. You know, I would say Arizona played THE biggest role in making Alex into the man he was in later seasons. Their mentor-student relationship, god, I love them so so much. And you can see how they changed each other for the better. Even the show itself points it out on several occasions. Team Peds whooo! Like, Addison got him into the process, but Arizona was with him throughout his whole character development. And god, Alex's speech in season 5 [I think?]. The whole 'Today is the day my life starts' or something like that. (Trying to be spoiler free here haha) ANYWAYS, I loved that moment for him too. Yeah, most of the actors usually stay around for almost 10 seasons since they first started, I suppose. And yeah, the Covid season... happens. But it has no old grey's vibes AT ALL. Like, sure they highlighted a lot of issues in the medical field as well as outside it. But it doesn't hit the same anymore. And yeah, out of the older characters, s17 has Meredith, Bailey, and Richard. And then there's others who were introduced eventually but I like them a lot too. Like, Jo Wilson, Jackson Avery, Amelia, DeLuca and many others I don't remember at the moment.
(thatās alright. iām on s5 ep2 and i literally started on 12th of june. wbyy?)
im on the ep where he appears and ngl as of now hes cute but im not expecting much.
im so excited to see her then and iāll update u. team peds slaps but omg i love general sm or obgyn.
canāt wait for that speech itās prolly sum deep moving shit oml
(dw bout spoilers tiktokās been hitting me w those daily)
ten seasons r great but all seasons would be betterrr.
valid how it doesnāt hit the same itās prolly totally different. š
OMG YAYA AT LEAST WE HAVE BAILEY MER AND RICHARD BUT WHATA BOUT CRISTINA šš
i know none of them yet oops
Ooh s5 already? let's gooo! Oh yeah, I love the way he's introduced into the show. And as I said, he's not a bad PERSON. Just a bad PARTNER. I'm so excited to see what you think of Arizona haha. And yeah, that speech by Alex is given at a VERY important moment of his life. I agree. I wish we got more seasons with the original characters. Nope, unfortunately Cristina leaves around S10. And then *SPOILER ALERT* Derek in s11. Callie in s12. Arizona and April in s14. And after that I just don't like the show. Right now too, I'm just watching the later seasons as a "I need to finish this for the peace of my mind" thing, not as a "I really WANT to watch this show".
YUPPP
same i liked his introduction sm !! i hope cristina doesnāt go through too many things..
VERY? now im curioussss
which season is arizona introduced?
same like nothing will beat the originals. omg whyās cristina leaving so soon UGH. i knew about derek unfortunately but man. CALLIE IS LEAVING TOO? wait whoās april??
so valid i will probably be in the same situation as well when i reach those seasons.
Oh, she goes through a LOT. He doesn't understand Cristina at all, and is like, always forcing her to literally change who she truly is. Oh yeah, it's one of the defining moments of his entire arc in the earlier seasons. Arizona is definitely introduced in season 5. I remember her first moment with Callie is in s5 ep 14, and If I'm not wrong, she's introduced two or three episodes before that.... Sooooo, around ep11? Guess you'll see her on the screen soon then. You know, I'm just glad that Cristina got a good exit from the show. The way they showed Callie and April's exit was almost insulting to their character after they'd come so far. Arizona got a somewhat good exit too, compared to others. Oh and April isn't introduced until s6 [ep5 I think? 'Invasion' or something.] but I guarantee you, you WILL either love her immensely or find her a bit annoying. I love her, especially after her iconic 'Now, move. or I will RUN. YOU. DOWN.' moment. haha. I haven't seen another episode since last week, which reminds me that I probably should...
oh no iām already missing burke atp. what is up w no guy understanding Cristina like ever.
i canāt wait then. his character development is great and will be ever greater.
ooh iāll see her soon yeah. iām excited asf !! iāve stopped watching these past few days due to my sleeping all day but ill lock in again.
i wish cristina didnāt get a man ending and was still in the show but better than nothing. i canāt wrap my head around the fact that callie leaves the show like i js love her sm. sounds like april is a baddie but ill let you know when i finallyyy see her.
so real cuz same. weve got this.
So real. No guy ever understood Cristina the way Meredith understood her. They're each other's person fr. I miss him a lot this season. Which reminds me... Alex leaves eventually too. Idk if I've ever mentioned that before. I'm excited asf for you too! I actually like Cristina's ending a lot, they stayed true to her character until the very end. And ikr. One minute Callie was there and then I start a new season and I realize, oh my god, She left?! Just like that?!?
I locked in and watched a few episodes today, and I was in for a big surprise?!?! One of the characters who left the show makes an appearance in s17. And there are many other moments with Older characters too. That's the only thing getting me through the Covid vibes tbh.
no fr and iām so happy they highlight that friendship.
u havenāt mentioned it but i saw on tiktok that he leaves w a letter to go to izzy to something im not sure and honestly im terrified.
wait she had not outro.. AT ALL? why would they do that to callie omg.
omg yayyy. are we talking about an og character? honestly today i watched elle (on the last ep rn) and itās so good.
valid ngl
Real. That's one of the few things I really like about Grey's. They focus on so many different dynamics, and not just romantic relationships. Like there's friendships, mentorships. And then half sibling dynamics. And so much more. Yeah, you're right. The exit kinda took his whole character development a step back. And the letters were so unexpected too. Like you know there's something going on, but that was NOT what I expected when I reached his exit episode. Nope. She doesn't get a proper outro. Her last scene is with Arizona and Sofia [ahh my Calzona heart yearns for them] and then that's just it. You don't even realize that she's actually gone. AND on top of that, they made her do so many things in s12 that early seasons Callie would NEVER do in her life. Well, some of the og characters who died make an appearance. others are from the s8 era. And then the one character I was talking about is from later seasons, around s6. Oh and another surprise for me was that Jackson left too! I actually kinda liked his exit better than the few others. [He is introduced in the same episode as April Kepner.]
exactly and thatās something not many shows do and i love that. especially merediths friendship w cristina or alex and even her friendship w addisson.
hopefully heāll return sometime? but yeah it seems so weird to me as well.
(canāt wait to see arizona even tho i think she fumbled callie?) omg what did she do.. dude what. she didnāt have a solo scene before leaving?
ion know if i like the return of dead characters.. oh jackson is or was marks best friend right? why does everyone leave gosh.
Oh yeah, the whole Addison-Derek-Meredith dynamic is one of the things so unique about the show. I don't think he will. But yeah, it would have been nice to see a scene or two with him and Meredith again. Dude, I could go on and on about Calzona and the things they did to each other. They've got the whole 'no one knows and loves you as much as I do and therefore no one knows how to hurt you the way I do' dynamic going on after s9. And yeah, Arizona did a really bad [and SO out of character] thing to Callie, BUT if you look deep into it, there's so much to explore. I can go on and on about why she did it, and how she was lost and so much more that includes major spoilers. And I'd also like to add, you can see that she NEVER forgave herself for it even when Callie eventually tried to forgive her. And about Callie, yeah she did a lot of shitty [and out of character] things in s12 too. As I said, they've hurt each other a lot but they have so much potential if you just look closely enough. and no, she didn't get a special solo scene, not an important one that I remember anyways. [is it too obvious that I'm unhealthily obsessed with those two?] I'll give you a slightttt spoiler and say that the dead characters return in the same way they did after Meredith drowned and got stuck in the place between life and death. And Mark and Jackson. oh, the Plastics Posse. Mark was Jackson's mentor and they had a really cool bond, but nope, Mark's best friends were Callie and Derek till the end.
genuinely like itās so messy hut itās wholesome as well. like addy is obviously rooting for them.
exactly.
i have such mixed feelings about this dynamic lowkey. you can elaborate on it ion mind st all but they sound so cute. thatās genuinely adorable in a way. (a little but iām alllll for it).
oh no. i think i know who weāre talking about cuz of an edit..
ooh alright. i love mark and callieās dynamic so much. itās the best thing ever
Exactly. Those three are my second fav trio, right after Calzona + Mark. I would SO love to talk about Calzona right now, god I'm dying to talk about them. But it would give you SO MANY major spoilers for many other characters too. And it's like even if you say you're okay with that, I want you to enjoy the experience and be shocked the first time you see it lol. You know what I mean? And yeah, they really are so so adorable too, before it all goes to hell. And even after that, I think they're one of the few couples who really cared for each other despite the bad situations life threw their way and they reallyyyy gave it their all and tried to make it work. [That's a relief, because unfortunately I'll be rambling about them a LOT] oh? I'd love to hear your thoughts and predictions about it. Me too. And it gets even better once Sofia gets introduced into the whole dynamic.
so valid. but yk which trio i hate.. izzie, mer and cristina. mer and cristina were leaving fetus izzie out which was horrible of them to do but she was quite judgy when it came to their personal lives (which they had fucked up a lot sure but letās be decent friends).
YEAH I GOT IT. OKAY SO ILL TRXT U AS SOON AS I REACH ANY CALZONA SCENES SO THAT U CAN TELL ME EVERYTHINGG. one of the few couples in the show im assuming cuz half just give up so easily. ( PLEASE DO.)
okay so maybe youāre talking about later seasons but currently iām assuming youāre talking about izzie seeing denny and j think itās him warning her to get tested cuz she has cancer? but im still so confused as to whether izzie dies or not because i think in later seasons alex leaves a letter that he went to her?
iām so excited to see mark being a dad cuz heās gonna be such a cutie patootie.
can i just say sum tho.. im in the first few owen eps and as of now hes cute w cristina. i like him. i know ill grow to hate him cuz ik he does so many fucked up things but rn heās cute.
Oh yeah, I was not super fond of those three together. But that's an interesting thing I've never thought about. Who would be My least favorite trio... Hmm, I don't even know tbh. Maybe, the whole Derek-Meredith- McVet thing, I didn't like that whole arc, idk why. OH MY GOD YES. I WOULD BE TOTALLY WAITING FOR THAT. I wanna hear your opinions on the s5 ep14 scene, you'll know which one I'm talking about when you see it. The parallels with that scene in the future are insane, and they're so cute in it. Yup, half of the couples either don't give a shit or straight up just hate each other lol I'm just gonna sit back and see you go through the whole Izzie cancer and Denny thing. But yeah, I agree it was very confusing, because I feel like I couldn't even understand what actually was going on with everything. Oh yeah, and even before Sofia, Mark has some kind of dad-arc and we can clearly see, that if given the chance he would care for and love his kid so much. Yeah, I think things go downhill with Cristina and Owen when they finally reveal his PTSD/ backstory and that one scene with the blades of the fan [lol that sounds so mysterious when I say it like that]. But once Teddy Altman enters the show, their whole trio dynamic gets so interesting. And yeah, Owen pisses me off SO BAD sometimes, but he is a good character, especially a representation for those with PTSD and in the later seasons he actually overcomes it, so that's inspiring. [Also, off topic. But I LOVE that in later seasons, Amelia Shepherd ALWAYS calls Owen out for the unfair things he does. She does NOT take shit from him lmao]
okay so valid. i lowk didnāt like how mer was like āim gonna make u both run for itā like the poor vet didnt deserve it lowk.. not that i hated it but it was unnecessary.
YAYYY. oop- should i be scared for whatās coming? no fr like #igatemypartner final bosses.
oh no i feel like im gonna lose braincells trying to understand whatās happening then..
no yeah heās cute w every child. like in s5 ep7 or sum there was a young girl who was the daughter of a patient suffering from severe sleep walking or sum and she was TIRED and he let her sleep on his shoulder n took her to a bed.
oh. he has trauma too š atp im convinced i aināt traumatized enough to be a doctor. no cuz u def do sound mysterious and im terrified. do we have a love triangle..? I think Iāll relate to that in the near future as for now hes safe from me (not for much prolly). (clock it shes such a girlboss and i love her dynamic w addison in private practice(havenāt seen that yet just edits bbut shush))
can i say i miss burktina so much. like please itās not the same without my very best cardiothorasic (idk how itās written lowk) surgeon (second best to cristina cuz letās bffr if it wasnāt for her heād be in so much trouble w the tremble and all.)
Exactly. I mean, sure, for a while it was funny. But then I just lost interest because it was so obvious that she would choose Derek in the end lol. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it! And, it's a long way till you get to the bad parts of Calzona so dw. They all do hate their partners a lot, don't they. LMAOO Yeah. Owen is usually really good with kids despite everything, and there are so many scenes emphasizing that fact too. Like I remember, there's this one girl, where he helps her over the phone and tells her to perform CPR using 'Stayin' Alive' and then there's this other boy who lost his mom in an accident and his dad is in a coma and Owen was almost thinking of adopting him. So yeah, Owen is portrayed as a good father many times. But man, he is a terrible partner. Lol you're so real for that. Almost everyone on the show has such a traumatic or sad backstory. Like someone has died or been killed or abused/neglected or something else. Atp it's rare to actually find someone with a healthy family dynamic with no trauma. [I haven't seen private practice either, but I will. I will soon. trust.] Oh, you're gonna love Teddy Altman, trust me. And especially her and Cristina's dynamic. Because I personally think she was the best teacher Cristina ever had and those two actually really cared about each other, and I think Cristina herself will agree with me on this one. For me, I would choose Teddy-Cristina over Burke-Cristina any given day. But I will agree, I do miss the vibes between those two in the earlier seasons. He was MUCH better than Owen Hunt [understatement of the year lmao]
exactly and it was sad for the guy as well.
iām gonna start ep14 soon and iāll let u know. good ill have some peace till then. no cuz fr.
thatās adorable but yeh exactly heās made to be a dad not a husband but as of rn heās still so cute. him and cristina make me giggle everytime i see them together and same thing when i see derek mer and cristina cuz he just gets their friendship so much and thatās the one thing i canāt hate him for.
exactly like theyāve severe trauma and my heart feels for them. ion think anyone there has a healthy family dynamic other than bailey maybe cuz her fam is non existent and her husband aināt it.. (lmk when u do im so excited for it.)
ayeee. does she show up in very late seasons? i canāt wait.
(bahaha) No one will ever top cristina and burke for me. i am just so attached i absolutely adore them together he understood her on another level even tho he had his red flags as well. as for who i prefer ill let u know soon but yk who i hated? HAN. o grew to kinda like her but she was a huge bitch to my poor cristina like miss girl who do u think u are?
Oooh I'm so excited for you. I have watched that scene in ep14 so MANY TIMES. It's just extremely adorable, I was smiling at my screen the whole time. The smiles, the eye contact, the iconic "I think you'll know." [I might go and watch that one again tbh lol] Real. Early seasons Owen and Cristina were kinda cute, I agree. And yeah, exactly. Derek understood Cristina and Meredith's friendship so well. And you know over time, Cristina and Derek grew fond of each other too. There's this one scene during the storm in late season 9 [I think?] where you can see them running together at the start of the episode because something is wrong with mer. And they're just so united when it comes to mer, it's cute. Oh yeah, idk if you've reached that episode yet, but Bailey's dad also kinda pissed me off during her whole divorce thing with her ex-husband. And wait no- Bailey has someone who died too, I think! But no further spoilers. [It's gonna take a while before I watch it. I feel like I should complete Grey's first. and that's just NOT HAPPENINGGG. It doesn't enddd] She shows up around season 6, I think? So, soon. Ooh Teddy and Arizona's friendship is really cute too. Okay, yk what, real. I totally get you, Burke and Cristina just had this understanding with each other that no one ever replaced in the show. And oh my god, I completely forgot about Hahn lmao. I didn't like her a lot, but she did help Callie figure out her sexuality so I guess I don't hate her either. BUT I do hate her for how she just left Callie. Just like that. Exactly, like, who do you think you are.
thatās so cute. OMG YES REWATCH IT.
exactly so far theyāre the cutest i canāt. and yeah that is one of the few things u appreciate derek for.
yeah j can already see them kind of liking each other more n more. omg thatās so cute. she has her people and i love that sm.
i havenāt seen that yet. wait what..? okay so no oneās safe i guess. (THATS SO REAL. i can relate.)
okay ive less than a season left then. cant wait.
exactly exactly exactly they were like romantic soulmates. they made mistakes, had their issues but they were adorable and i miss em. but now owenās kinda cute but i know thatās temporary.
ur so real for that. exactly and she was also stuck up or had some sort of superiority complex like okay chill out?
Yk what? I WILL. I"M GONNA GO AND REWATCH IT SOON. Hold on to the cuteness as long as you can, because it gets pretty bad later lol. And yeah, even though Derek sometimes pissed me off for the way he treated Mer, one of the things I love about him is he knew he didn't understand Meredith the way Cristina did, but he was mature enough to take it well and give them the respect their friendship deserved. Mer really does have the whole hospital as her family, dude. It's kinda sad that in the later seasons most of them are replaced. Oh, I might have given you a slight spoiler about Bailey, I suppose. Nah, no one's safe fr. [exactly.] Teddy and Cristina's first conversation is so iconic too. If I remember correctly, Teddy introduced herself, and Cristina's like, "I've never heard of you." and Teddy goes, "I've never heard of you either, so I guess that makes us even?" And she's smiling while saying that, so that just makes it better lol. "they made mistakes, had their issues but they were adorable and i miss em" Exactly how I feel about Calzona. I guess Burke/Cristina are the same for you as Calzona is for me. Exactly. Also, she pissed me off so bad when she went, "You can't be kind of gay" to Callie's bisexuality. Like excuse me, ma'am? I'm RIGHT HERE?! Damn, but I do miss whatever beef she and Burke had going on. lol
YES YES YES.
oop. the derek thing is so real and i praise him for that. yeah itās depressing but i hope she at least still has richard. heās like her dad.
okay so shonda rlly hates us and every character and traumatizes them as much as possible.
omg no way teddy sounds like such a baddie. i love that. you and i are like twins with diff couples. bring em all back.
oh no hell no. āu canāt be kind of gayā well u canāt be that fucking stupid cuz WHAT. the beef w burke was so real? i always thought she had a crush on him lowk but then i realized she was a lesbian so..
Exactly, Derek did that one thing so right. She does have Richard and Bailey till the end, you can say. LMAO, yeah she does. But I guess it's kinda realistic that everyone has fought their own demons to get where they are now, and makes the characters more interesting for us, viewers. She was! I really don't like the way they kinda ruined her character in the later seasons for me. I loved her with Henry, and I so believe that they should have been endgame. Yeah, bring em all back! Exactly. Like, what was UP with that beef. It was funny though, so I guess that's something. LMAO real, I kinda thought that for a while too.
truly. okay thatās good i love em both tbh.
thatās true and iām glad she does that but also not cuz omg my heart.
wait is teddy endgame w owen?..
GENUINELY. IDEK but i was there for it ngl. TWIN.
Same. Though I would have loved it if Alex hadn't left. LMAO. I get you, that's real. Like trauma yes, but trauma NOOO. *spoiler alert* Yup, They're endgame, but it's a slow slowwwwww burn. And even after, they mess up a LOT. Real.
i canāt even wrap my head around his departure like WHAT. that aināt alex.
EXACTLY LIKE IVE MIXED MIXED FEELS.
I LOVE LOVE SLOW BURNS OMG MY FAV TROPE EVERRRRR BUT girl.
I knowwww. Early seasons Alex Karev would NEVER do that. So truee. I usually like slow burns a lot too, and they ARE kinda cute at first, but as I said, they made Teddy do a few bad things, and that kinda made me lose interest in those two. But I suppose every relationship had its ups and downs, and they did end up together in the end, after all. BUT I STILL LOVED TEDDY AND HENRY TOGETHERRR.
TRULYYY HES EVOLVED
oh no more bad things omg my heart cahtvatke em. ISNT HENRY HER PATIENT WHO DIED ORRR..?
s2 ep27 alex picking up izzie and her crying in his arms after denny (or however his name is spelled) died was NOT on my bingo list.
I LOVE LOVE SLOW BURNS OMG MY FAV TROPE EVERRRRR BUT girl.
s2 ep27 alex picking up izzie and her crying in his arms after denny (or however his name is spelled) died was NOT on my bingo list.
TWIN.
s2 ep27 alex picking up izzie and her crying in his arms after denny (or however his name is spelled) died was NOT on my bingo list.
Damn, but I do miss whatever beef she and Burke had going on. lol
YES YES YES.
oop. the derek thing is so real and i praise him for that. yeah itās depressing but i hope she at least still has richard. heās like her dad.
okay so shonda rlly hates us and every character and traumatizes them as much as possible.
omg no way teddy sounds like such a baddie. i love that. you and i are like twins with diff couples. bring em all back.
oh no hell no. āu canāt be kind of gayā well u canāt be that fucking stupid cuz WHAT. the beef w burke was so real? i always thought she had a crush on him lowk but then i realized she was a lesbian so..
s2 ep27 alex picking up izzie and her crying in his arms after denny (or however his name is spelled) died was NOT on my bingo list.
(THATS SO REAL. i can relate.)
okay ive less than a season left then. cant wait.
exactly exactly exactly they were like romantic soulmates. they made mistakes, had their issues but they were adorable and i miss em. but now owenās kinda cute but i know thatās temporary.
ur so real for that. exactly and she was also stuck up or had some sort of superiority complex like okay chill out?
s2 ep27 alex picking up izzie and her crying in his arms after denny (or however his name is spelled) died was NOT on my bingo list.
