Timelapse under the cut!
Bringing it here too because it’s true. Also a reminder that this is your blog/profile, be annoying about your characters/projects all you like.
Please don't think you're being annoying for posting about your characters. If everyone thought that way, there would be no characters, including the ones found in licensed properties. They all start out as someone's OC. If anyone gives you flack over it, remember, they are a guest in your net-house; they're free to leave at any time if they don't like the decor. Let them go.
If you want other people to love your characters as much as you do, you might want to try writing or drawing them in situations that reveal who they are as a person. They don't have to be fully fleshed out epics, just short scenarios can work, even ones that would never actually apply to the character in question. It can also be a good exercise for you to figure out who they are too... especially if the character starts to "act on their own".
DEAR ARTISTS, PLEASE READ THIS POST I STUMBLED ACROSS
IF YOU ARE NOT DOING THIS ALREADY, YOU SHOULD TRY IT
I even tested it out myself, it works great
Stocking from (New) Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt! 💜 Timelapse under the cut!
I remember a long time ago, I was asked, "How do the boys handle their hangovers?" I wish I could find it just because I was so tickled by the question, but they'll pick their sluggish bodies up to gorge on comfort foods.

Spring/Summer
i do this cuz i like you
The sooner you start, the sooner you'll be done with it and the sooner you can stop thinking about it. Go on, up you get, it won't be as bad as you think.
You won't want to do it later either. You might as well just do it now. Even if you don't finish it all, anything you manage to get done now is something you don't have to do later (when you still won't want to do it)
So if Caine and Kinger finally have a father-son relationship… does that mean Kinger calls him by his first name, all three middle names, and last name when he’s about to unleash the full force of his parental wrath

Tips for Budding artists
1. DON’t COMPARE YOURSELF TO ANOTHER ARTIST!!!!!!!!!!!! - You don’t know how many years they’ve been making art - You don’t know if they’ve taken classes

6. Learn abt flow and lines of action!
7. Use refs!! Refs are your best friends!!! HOld Them like a lIFE LINE!!!
8. Use basic shapes for guidelines and build off of them!
9. LIGHT PRESSURE!! Draw lightly!! Use heavier pressure for detail!
10. Block in colors and shading! - Lay down your areas of color or shading and then go back and refine it
11. Believe in yourself!!! You CAN do it!! 12. Ask for help! Ask for criticism!
